  Hi all

  I just bought a MacBook Pro (used) to upgrade my other older. I bought initially CS6 via a download link, in order to put on this computer I downloaded again, but as soon as I click on install it says "Installer failed to initialize" and directs me to download an advisor for help, when I click on that page says it no longer exists.

  I read through the troubleshooting, I deleted all the other versions of Adobe (this computer had Creative cloud top) and ran the cleaning tool, restarted my computer, do the download, etc. and still getting the same message. Spent far too many hours on this and I'm not at all techies! Help!

  Bit_Planet I recommend you review the PDApp.log for the error that prevents the installer of initialization.  You can find details on how to locate and interpret logs to troubleshoot installation with install newspapers | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5-cs5.html.  You are invited to post specific errors that you will discover in this discussion.

  Hello everyone. I just bought the Production Premium CS6 and when I try to start the first I get this error message: "Adobe Premiere Pro could not find capable video game modules. "Your video please put updated display drivers and try again." This message comes after she tries to load the file importerquicktime. I tried to uninstall the software and reinstall anything will do.   • I tried to uninstall the software.
  • I tried to update my drivers for both of the graphics cards (even if one of them do not have an update, it seems)
  • I run the software as an administrator.
  • I tried to go to the display settings and disable the Intel card. (this because low resolution that is unexceptable)
  • I went to the Catalyst Control Center and put the first to 'High Power' which is supposed to use the AMD card.
  • I open the BIOS, but there is no option to change anything graphical associates. (many people have to tell people to change switchable graphics set here, but I don't have any option)
  • I took my battery.
  • I uninstalled quicktime and reinstalled the latest version.
  • I downloaded and installed the latest version of first (as it was released the day before, I bought)

  I tried other things I think, but at this point, I have tried so many things, that I'm starting to forget. Nothing seems to work for me... I am wanting to use the first to edit this short video I want to release Wednesday, but this puts me behind. Any help is appreciated, thanks!

  I spent more than 24 hours to find a way to solve this problem. And that's...
  1. right click on desktop, and select switchable graphics properties.
  2. click on the Browse button and go to the folder of installation of Adobe premiere cs6
  3. Select cs6.exe first icon and click Open.
  4. set manually to high performance and click on apply.
  5. repeat the above instructions, once more and instead select premierecs6.exe, select GPUsniffer.exe, and click on open again.
  6 and set it to high performance and click on apply.
  7 enjoy CS6

  You will need to enable the touchpad on the laptop itself.

  Find the area of the touch pad, you will find a button to enable or disable the touchpad.

  If the step above doesn't, try this step.

  Go to control panel > mouse > device settings tab
  Click (or to disable)

  

  Notes:
  On some models, there is a keyboard shortcut to enable or disable the touchpad. For example, ACER, just do Fn + F7.
  You can click on Reset device if none of these solutions work.

  If you still can't touch pad to work, you will need to contact the manufacturer of the laptop computer for more information.

  Sorry, if you are not set up as an administrator user account, you cannot enable the built-in administrator.
