  Hi all

  I just bought a MacBook Pro (used) to upgrade my other older. I bought initially CS6 via a download link, in order to put on this computer I downloaded again, but as soon as I click on install it says "Installer failed to initialize" and directs me to download an advisor for help, when I click on that page says it no longer exists.

  I read through the troubleshooting, I deleted all the other versions of Adobe (this computer had Creative cloud top) and ran the cleaning tool, restarted my computer, do the download, etc. and still getting the same message. Spent far too many hours on this and I'm not at all techies! Help!

  Hi, I downloaded Adobe InDesign CS6 successfully, using the Download Manager software. When I click on "install", a window appears with a bar ('install Adobe'), progression and the bar gets about 2/3, then I get an error message saying "we met the following problems." Setup could not initialize. Please download Adobe Support Advisor to detect the problem. "Then a link to download Adobe Support Advisor, or button to quit.

  So, I downloaded and ran the Adobe Support Advisor. After initialization, the software only says "no problems found".

  -My machine meets the system reqs for InDesign CS6

  -Of course I tried to restart my computer and run all these steps again. We are still getting the error.

  Thank you, Jeff Wright. I went through my log files, searched errors and found another thread on the support forum that simply directed me to remove a process in my activity monitor.

  For anyone else who has this problem:

  Go to Applications / Utilities / on your mac activity monitor and delete the process "'AAM Update Notifier' or «AAM recording notify»» Then start Setup again. He now works for me.

  I'm trying to install Adobe Creative Design Standard on an iMAC OSX, running, but I still get the error that Setup could not initialize.

  I tried running the cleanuptools and rebooted, but nothing works.

  Hello. I am a PC user, and I am trying to solve a problem with the installation download links listed on this page. When I try to run the installer, I get the message listed in the topic.

  Initially, I tried to download products from the creative cloud desktop app, but while the download should start, it would not be completed entirely due to an error (I don't exactly remember the message). I ran the creative cloud cleaning tool, installed the Creative Cloud Desktop App and tried to start the download again. But it did not work.

  I'm pulling out my hair. When I run the exe to install for 2015 of CC, it IMMEDIATELY gives me a "Setup cannot initialize error:

  This is a new PC, built later than yesterday, m and there is no other teenagersoftware be installed on it. I've seen mention in the forums of the appdata\local\adobe of compensation and program files (x 86) \common files\adobe etc folders, none of this has worked for me. I downloaded the ApplicationManager9/0_all.exe and installed, but it did not help. Then I tried to uninstall, that doesn't seem to work very well, so I downloaded the creative cloud cleaning tool and running. After installing the application manager there was Ceres in appdata and common files, so I deleted those.

  Absolutely nothing has worked - the installer dies immediately when I launch, with the same error message 'could not initialize installation' I see the other people here an assignment to the top.

  Can someone help me? I have no idea how to solve this problem!

  Edit: It is a Windows 10 PC, not a Mac.

  Hi, someone at - it split the question of PES 10 do not install on a Mac (OSX 10.7.3)? I chatted to the media and surfed on these forums, and the only way, it seems to install is by creating a new admin account. Is not ideal.

  I downloaded the software a couple of times and it makes no difference. There is obviously something different between the default Administrator account and create another admin account, but I can't understand that.

  Appreciate any help or advice.

  Go to disk-> preferences utility. Uncheck "verify checksums.

  Then try to install the application. If successful, please go back to disk-> preferences utility. Re-check "verify checksums.

  Also, have you tried to install the product after creating a new user account with administrative rights and he succeeded?
