  I recently upgraded my Satellite P300-156 laptop from Vista to Windows 7 32 bit (I'm not particularly computer literate and had no idea that this wonderful new operating system may not work properly on modern laptops).

  Had a nightmare, as when the computer starts, the screen is oversized and the keyboard and mouse do not work. It is somewhat intermittent - sometimes it doesn't. I had long conversations and many scans made by Microsoft and it seems now that the problem is that the drivers are not properly load. When we looked in the Device Manager you could see little yellow exclamation (knocks as he called them) bext for pilots to display and mouse and other pointing devices drivers.

  My Windows engineer took a look at this Web site and did not find a driver for the mouse and other pointing devices. Does anyone know if there is a there? I can't believe I maybe isn't able to use Windows 7 on this laptop and may need to go back to the agony of using Vista. It seems crazy.

  You should try Vista 32bits touchpad, as I know, most of them is compatible with win 7. If it does not help you, you can try other models of Satellite:

  Grateful for help in finding a way to install the HP Solution Center after upgrade win10.  The installation CD original will not auto-run and when seteup.exe forced to run from the DVD, offers 'output' as the only item on the menu.  The HP support web site offers only the "HP Print and Scan Doctor for Windows" I have installed and tried to run several times.  Pretty frustrating.  Prints OK from normal applications, but am really struggling to analyze.  Any help appreciated.

  I have a 8610 who worked during the first weeks perfectly under windows 8.1.

  After the Win 10 update, it does not work.  The installer who "sees" the printer on the wireless network, impossible to install drivers or programs.

  Hate to say it, but I think we're out of luck until HP fixed their software.

  Very ironic because they don't have that tell of these printers are compatible with Windows 10 messages.  Technically, that's true; It is their software that isn't.

  When I go to my photos, you can see all the folders. Before windows 8, you can right-click in any empty space in the folder and right click. The first choice was "display in miniature". In windows 8 what choice is not there. I can't click on hundreds of photos to find what I'm looking for.

  Is "view thumbnails" still there somewhere in Windows 8?

  Applications and links are two different things.

  5 years ago, using Windows, you may have used a shortcut to start a program or application.

  Today, you use a shortcut to launch an application.  They have just shortened 'request' to 'app' because that's what everyone calls them these days anyway.

  The miniature view of Windows 8 is the same as Windows 7: If you click on "Large icons", you will get thumbnails.

  Maybe you should install the current version of Firefox or switch on the beta update channel instead.

  If you have installed at night because it's the only version that has a 64-bit version, so keep in mind that 64-bit Nightly builds for Windows are generated only for test compilation errors and are not all tests that get any other builds, so the risk that something is wrong can be very high.

  32-bit versions of Firefox should work without problems on 64 bit versions of Windows.

  I'll have a little bit to find the correct Wifi Module map for a G6-1234SA I started recently refurbished.

  I tried a couple that are in my 'parts' box spare, but all seem to come back with error 702, module unsupported.

  I'm really hit a wall with what I can not really find any information on what card I should get.

• Error installing Windows 7 64 - bit "Could not find listener appropriate".

  * 11.2.0.1 * installation does not work for Win7 Professional 64-bit
  (1) software (did not create database initially)
  (2) create listener via Net Config (no apparent problem here)
  (3) added to the listener by Mgr Net DB
  (4) dbca fails in the latter part of the creation of the DB. Error States: * "cannot find listener for this database. Configuration DB control requires data base to be registered with at least a listener.*
  My listener services is started.
  All updates have been applied to Win 7.
  
  I searched and found similar questions that seem to centered around the rights of the administrator, but I couldn't make any progress.

  I have a site that I'm trying.  Each page was generated using a template I created.  Everything worked very well when I would update the model, each page will be updated.  Now when I make a change in the model, DW asks if I want to update the template files and click on update.  I usually change the drop down list of 'Whole Site' (don't know if that's what I'm supposed to do).  Now, when I select 'The entire Site', I get the following error:

  I found the problem: The REST services had been set up to use localhost, which is not available in the Android emulator. Changing the address to 10.0.2.2 solved this problem.
