  Try to disable Adobe Acrobat XI Pro on my old computer, so I can install it on my new computer.  The Adobe instructions say, go to help and select Disable.  When I log in and go to the help, there is no option in the dropdown menu that says don't turn off.  How to transfer my existing license to my new computer?

  Thanks Anubha Goel, final I got it to work... The serial number in the physical box that you buy in the store wasn't the number for the software.  It was the serial number in the cloud, very difficult to know when you see a serial number in the box with the Cd online.  But thanks for the reply to my post.   You do not get the option to turn off because it might be possible that Acrobat has been installed with volume license serial key.

  If the option disable is not available then please go ahead and uninstall the program.

  After formatting the drive, re install the software.

  It was to be expected if you have made a backup from external software instead of using the recommendations of backup / restore of the Organizer:

  If you "import" the backup made by other software, you can only retrieve the metadata that you have voluntarily registered in the metadata section of your files.

  The albums are NOT written in the files. They are lists of files stored in the catalog, like playlists for audio.

  Because it is saved in the catalog, you have to run the process described above to retrieve the catalog or (if you install on the same computer) to 'convert' catalog.
