  Hi all

  As mentioned in the CV data sheet, I know that a VCS can accommodate up to 500 calls from nontraversal.

  But VCS cluster which consists of 6 VCS can treat 2,000, steps 3 000 (6 x 500).

  I wonder how many calls each VCS cluster can handle.

  Is this correct?

  Up to 1,000 calls in nontraversal?

  Up to 200 calls course?

  Hi Kotaro,

  even if the 6 servers are taken in charge by vcs cluster however only 4 will be active. So 4 * 500 is 2000 license.

• Questions call non-Traversal

  Hi all

  I implement some new devices of telepresence:
  Site has
  VCS-control (X8.1)
  VCS-Expressway (X8.1)
  MCU 5310 (4.4)
  C40 codec (7.0.2)

  Site B
  (7.0.2) codec C20
  The site has different subnet

  I have enabled H.323 & SIP on the VCS - C and tested several calls between Site A & b. whenever calls go out H.323, SIP, or SIP to H.323 from the C40 for the C20 or vice versa, that there is no problem. Both sites receive video and audio.
  Whenever I force the same protocol. That is to say, H.323 to SIP for SIP or H.323 and making the same calls, the site B (C20) is not video of the Site (C40). However the C40 receives both video & audio of the C20. What is interesting, is that if I do the same calls of the MCU, which is also in Site A, then there is no problem. So the problem is between the C40 and C20.
  Since I'm not physcally on sites because I do this execution remotely, I can count only on the stats I get from the GUI. I have attached a photo taken of the customer from the screen of the C20.

  Calls:
  Calls crossing
  C40 - C20 H.323 - SIP - call ok
  C20 - C40 H.323 - SIP - call ok
  C40 - C20 SIP - H.323 - call ok
  C20 - C40 SIP - H.323 - call ok
  MCU - C20 H.323 - H.323 - call ok

  Non-Traversal calls
  C40 - C20 H.323 - H.323 - no video received the C20
  C40 - C20 SIP - SIP - no video received the C20
  C20 - C40 H.323 - H.323 - no video received the C20
  C20 - C40 SIP - SIP - no video received the C20

  This suggests that there is only a problem on the C20 in non-traversal calls. I don't want to use licensed traveled between these 2 points of termination.

  When you make an H323, SIP call, all media is 'mandated' by the VCS, so they would still work even if they cannot ping each other.  When you do a non-traversal call, media flows directly between the endpoints.

  Ping a C-Series, connect to the codec via SSH (same credentials as the Web browser), and then type systemtools network ping 10.1.1.1

  Where "10.1.1.1" is the IP address of the remote end point.

  Hello world! Wanted to ask a quick question. If endpoint makes a call to another endpoint (via WAN) and each of them is registered in VCS on their sides and then if it will use the non-traversal license of VCS or just one of them?

  Each call and the end point that enter or exit the VCs will have 1 license appeal.  What determines the type of license, either Non-traversal or crossing is less (confirmed by the help guide).

  Calls of traversal VCS: VCS standard video or audio calls, including business-to-business calls, B2BUA calls (for encryption of the media or ice) and interoperability or sent through gateway calls to third-party solutions where the VCS as well takes the call signaling and media of the call. Each call consumes a license of traversal appeal.

  VCS non-traversal calls: here's the VCS standard video or audio calls where the traffic goes through VCS, but the media passes directly between the endpoints, or between an endpoint and another system in the direction of the call. Each call consumes a license non-traversal call. Note that Lync B2BUA calls are classified as non-traversal is called (even if media cross the VCS).

  If you enable interoperability and call Jabber on sip to H323 endpoint. <->SIP h323 will consume a crossing

  Lisence.

  Our control of VCS have alarm (warning the number of concurrent calls to non-traversal capacity has approached the limit allowed.) and I want to know what kind of appeal to eat non-transversal license for me to understand and decide how many additional license we need. Vascular control VCS was 10 Non-traversal and 100 courses license. Please help me to check which license (crossing or Non-traversal) used and how lincenses required by call.

  Take a look at the "call Types and Licensing" section of the VCS administration Guide on pg 378 to detail what types of call will consume what type of license.

  If you need search malware here's my recommendations - they will allow you to
  scrutiny and the withdrawal without ending up with a load of spyware programs running

  I wanted to know if it is possible to create 2 spans, an editable and non editable together in the same textFlow object?

  I looked in the spark primitives and understood that here I can have as a component of modifiable/non-editable set (RichEditableText/RichText), so I have to use the framework for it, but how?

  TextContainerManager is a wrapper for the classes in the framework that makes some optimzations for display only text and provides APIs cleanser which helps the integration of gumbo.  It may be useful to you, but is orthoganol to this problem.

  I think the problem is double

  (1) marking span that are not editable.

  (2) preventing of duration of these courses of edition.

  Suppose you have just scared of coming changes of the EditManager.  I think you want to allow the modifications with the API of the model.

  (1) can be solved by using a custom style sheet. For example span.setStyle ("editable", false)

  (2) require either create your own subclass of EditManager with your own custom operations which never change the noneditable text OR listen for events from flowOperationBegin textFlow and modify operations to obey the rules that prevent the uneditable text editing.  You need to understand each operation and verify that the span in question.  You may cancel or modify it.
