It's my generic how updates of appropriate driver: (updating the video/display driver and BIOS)

This utility, it is easy see which versions are loaded: run DriverView - set the VIEW to hide
Microsoft drivers - update those without drain in their names (and BIOS and chipset).

-Free - DriverView utility displays the list of all device drivers currently loaded on your system.
For each driver in the list, additional useful information is displayed: load address of the driver,
Description, version, product name, company that created the driver and more.
http://www.NirSoft.NET/utils/DriverView.html

For drivers, visit manufacturer of emergency system and of the manufacturer of the device that are the most common.
Control Panel - device - Graphics Manager - note the brand and complete model
your video card - double - tab of the driver - write version information. Now click on
Driver update (this can do nothing as MS is far behind the certification of drivers) - then right
Click on - uninstall - REBOOT it will refresh the driver stack.

Repeat this for network - card (NIC), Wifi network, sound, mouse, and keyboard if 3rd party
with their own software and drivers and all other main drivers that you have.

Now in the system manufacturer (Dell, HP, Toshiba as examples) site (in a restaurant), peripheral
Site of the manufacturer (Realtek, Intel, Nvidia, ATI, for example) and get their latest versions. (Look for
BIOS, Chipset and software updates on the site of the manufacturer of the system here.)

Download - SAVE - go to where you put them - right click - RUN AD ADMIN - REBOOT after
each installation.

Always check in the Device Manager - drivers tab to be sure the version you actually install
presents itself. This is because some restore drivers before the most recent is installed (sound card drivers
in particular that) so to install a driver - reboot - check that it is installed and repeat as
necessary.

Repeat to the manufacturers - BTW in the DO NOT RUN THEIR SCANNER device - check
manually by model.

Look at the sites of the manufacturer for drivers - and the manufacturer of the device manually.

Unfortunately, there is nothing conclusive in these dumps, bar a few tips here and there for us in the right direction, but we can take some measures that can help solve the problem.

    Hello

Whenever my computer wakes from sleep, or after I closed the computer I get an error of violation of CPD watchdog. Then I have to restart my computer several times before I can actually use it.
I tried running windbg without success. I get error module unkonw.
If someone could help me, understand me what is causing the blue screen, it would be great!

One of the minidump files had a damaged however the last file referenced minidump Windows the storport.sys driver module and the storage the list nvstor.sys NVIDIA driver.

Can you open up Windows Update and "Check for updates".

Are there optional updates available for the storage NVIDIA controller?

Also, Avast has been known to cause blue screen problems in some configurations so I would say to uninstall Avast and just use firewall and antivirus integrated Windows 8 (Windows Defender).

Also, you can run the following two applications just to see if they do anything:

  • BSOD violation of CPD watchdog error

    Hi friends,

    I'm reposting this question.

I'm facing serious problems because of my laptop crashing.

It shows the BSOD with error DPLC WATCHDOG VIOLATION as much as 3 - 4 times a day.

This problem has increased in recent weeks. my laptop freezes and crashes randomly.

    It affects my work.

Please provide a solution for this keep in mind that I want to avoid the upgrade of my Windows OS 8.1 because it increases this problem and adds a lot of other problems, such as the fall of wifi, bluetooth works now correctly, the fan rotates to continuously at high speed (even if no applications such as games or videos etc. are currently running).

Here is the link to the latest information of minidumps and system. (compressed using 7 - zip)

    https://onedrive.live.com/redir?RESID=EED7A7A1E067B7C4! 660 & authkey =! AKT9ZcfoxvryKOw & ithint = file %2 c

I use HP PAVILION G6 2312-AX laptop which comes preinstalled with windows 8.

I updated my drivers and bios for later

Please help me as soon as possible.

    Thanks in advance.

I think that these well enough below, error messages describe what cause your system to hang and eventually crash. I also believe that Quick Heal AntiVirus plays a role which is not registered in these messages, based on the experience of similar questions I being debugged.

  • CPD Watchdog Violation on my Toshiba Satellite and impossible to verify updates

I had Violation Watchdog DPC on my Toshiba Satellite. It's frustrating to worm. How can I solve this problem?

    Here's my minidumps files https://skydrive.live.com/redir?resid=67BCFC4F8EC6B99B 107

    Hi Sheikh R,.

You seem to have two software antivirus/firewall in real-time installed, Norton and Avira which can cause stability problems.

Can you uninstall Norton and Avira and see if that helps.

For security software consider using just firewall and antivirus integrated Windows 8 (Windows Defender).

I would also uninstall the c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys pilot who has been known to cause blue screen errors in some configurations.

Uninstall the application that has installed the driver c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys, maybe it's Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120%.

Then, uninstall the c:\windows\system32\drivers\sptd.sys - see "How can I remove driver SPTD on 64-bit operating system?" in the following link:

The most common CAUSE are network in use drivers or a 3rd party antivirus. Check
with support from the system manufacturer (manufacturer of motherboard for customized systems), the drivers online.
and ask in their forum (if there is one) on the known issues. And check with the manufacturer of real device
for even more recent driver versions or if you use a separate network device.

Also check with the system/motherboard manufacturer for updates to the BIOS, chipset low level

drivers and device drivers loaded. And with the manufacturers of separate devices for updates
    for these drivers.

  • The incessant CPD Watchdog Violation?

I have a Lenovo laptop, G780, and recently, I was not able to connect to all without any BSOD. This causes my laptop restart and he ends up in a reboot loop after a reboot. The only way for to connect me with success is to do a system restore

    * The problem started to occur just after I downloaded DC Universe. I uninstalled since, but am still stuck with this problem.

    You have done, thank you!

The two attached DMP files are bug control DPC_WATCHDOG_VIOLATION (133) .

This bug check indicates that the watchdog DPC executed, either because it has detected a call single lengthy proceedings deferred (DPC), the system spent an extended time at a level (IRQL) IRQ to DISPATCH_LEVEL or above.

Usually the processes accompanying the accident are not relevant in most cases, but according to what they are and their level of impact on the system, they may very well be. In your case, the crash of a process is important and it is compliant: nom_processus: avgnsa.exe

    ^^ EXE from moy.

Remove and replace AVG with built-in Windows Defender from Windows 8 for temporary troubleshooting purposes:

  • Windows 8 How can I solve violation of CPD watchdog

Hi everyone I have this violation of watchdog of dpc error or problem

I have no anti virus I use windows defender
    Here's my minidump files
    Thank you

Of course, it's a driver problem.  Please run the Driver Verifier to find what's wrong to behave

    2. Driver Verifier
Using Driver Verifier is a dubious proposition. Most of the time it will crash and it will tell you what is the driver.

But sometimes it will crash and will not tell you the driver.
Sometimes it will crash until you can connect to Windows. If you can't mode without failure, then you will have to resort to editing the registry offline to disable driver verifier.
I suggest that you first back up your data and make sure you have access to another computer so you can contact us in case of problems.
Then do a system restore point (so you can restore the system using the functionality of Vista/Win7 Startup Repair).

    Here is the procedure:

Click Start and type "auditor" (without the quotes) and press enter
Select 'Create a custom settings (for code developers)' and click 'Next' (or Type "check/standard/all" (without the quotes) If you want to check each of them (this will slow down your computer))

Choose "Select custom settings from a full list" and click "Next".
Select the entire document except for "Low resource Simulation" to win 8 do not check concurrency stress test and the verification of the conformity of DDI, click "next".
Select "Select driver names from a list", then click "next".
Select all drivers that are NOT provided by Microsoft, and then click "Next".
On the next page, select "Finish".
Restart the system and wait as he crashed to blue screen.
Continue to use your system normally and if you know what are the causes of the crash, do it several times. The objective here is to get the system crash because Driver Verifier is stressing out the drivers. If it is not planted for you, then let it run for at least 36 hours of continuous operation.
If you are unable to Windows because it crashes too early, try safe mode.
If you can't mode without fail, try to use the system from the installation DVD restore to bring the system back to the previous point of restoration that you created.
