CPU speed incorrect for the 948 driver installation

I have a COUPLE 948 printer that I'm trying to connect wirelessly from a laptop Vista Home Premium (32-bit). Whenever I run through the installation of the driver it tells me that the required minimum processor speed is 800 Mhz and mine is 4294967295 MHz. By my count I have clearly enough Mhz to get but refuses it to proceed further with the installation software.

I know that the reported number is wrong because I have an Inspiron 9400 with a processor clocked at about 1700 Mhz. However if I look at the 'System' Control Panel, he told me that the processor and Ram information is "not available".

Someone at - it suggestions on what I need to do to fix this?

Rick, several attempts to re - install the driver that as well in safe mode and normal all is come up with the same problem - the installer to complain about the speed of the processor. I used the patch to remove completely all previous driver but it had no effect - I could not even go as far as a connection problem!

Dig into the defective processor speed, led me to this post because speed was not reported properly on the system control panel.

http://forums.pcper.com/showthread.php?p=4332899

and when I entered the command

net localgroup administrators NetworkService/add

the values of processor and ram have been reported correctly and the printer driver has been happy to let me pass the system check.

I guess that's not a scenario the pilot testers should consider.

Thanks for your help

  • No driver for the Flash drive on the HP website

    Hello.

I just bought a HP USB Flash Drive v125w of Fry.

I just wanted to save my files if I can get a new computer.

After putting in the Flash drive, my computer said that there is no driver.

So I go to the HP website to download a driver for this product.

I can't find a. I can find a driver for the v120w driver, but not my v125w driver.

This is a new product... Why is there not a driver?

I call HP and ask... where can I get a driver? Why is there a driver for this product? And if it does not exist, can you please tell me what Flash Player I can use with my Windows 98 computer?

Of course, they can not answer simple questions. They don't know anything. All they can say is "if it isn't on the Web site, then there no driver." They can advise me on Flash Drive can I use for my Windows 98 computer, and where a driver is available.

I can't believe that I've had to work so hard to get so little information. Incredible.

Can someone help me?  I just need a pilot to save my files so I can get a new computer.  Someone can tell me which driver I can use for Windows 98 and has a driver to help me install it?

I can't believe that HP could not answer that for me. Totally LAME.

    Thanks for the reply.

Just for the record, I punched in this product several times in different ways and came up with nothing on the HP site.  I came to the top with the 120 series but not the 125.  I don't know how you did it, but I couldn't.

And the package doesn't say anything about compatibility.  He uses that word at all.

Nevertheless, I thought it on mine... without the help of HP.

Is it dangerous for the HARD drive, the icon she samples D:\?
.. The example of the start menu button is also in D:\. (Classic interface)

I downloaded the 'old' Nice and exchanged icons on my desktop.
The user, workstation, trash ones and two new folders using the icons for them also.

The question is - I moved these new icon samples in D:\ (which is not the main drive) and I was wondering if the PIN that reads the HARD drive is physically mobile all the time on one side of the disc to another. Because the icons are located in the D:\... and these icons are defined on elements that are found in C:\, lol!

so I was wondering If it damage the hard drive (physically)!

    Please answer, thank you!

    Hi Kaloyan,

Keep the icons in the D drive or any other drive which is not the main drive does not affect the HARD drive somehow.
  • Stand alone driver for the minimal application installer MyRIO

    Dear all,

I'm trying to deploy a full installation package for a laboratory study, which would include:

    1. exe application file compiled from a VI. This VI connects to the MyRIO via network flow.

    2 labview runtime engine

3 driver for the USB LAN unit MyRIO.

First 2 steps succeeded, and the VI communicates with the device via WiFi MyRIO. However, I would like to connect trough USB and need a driver on the host machine. Installation of a complete driver package is certainly an overdose for this occasion.

Therefore, I'm looking for someone to report to a minimum installation package that would ensure good communication with MyRIO via USB.

    Regarding kind.

    Česlav

Thanks for the quick response Sam K

    .

After all, I found the file msi corresponding to the LAN drivers on the DVD myRIO. There is a separate driver for win XP, that does not work on my Win 7 64 machine. The following file actually worked very well "NiRio_USBLAN64.msi" with the associated cab file. Without the rest of the CompactRIO drivers it does not appear as MyRIO, but as a generic USB LAN adapter device. Connections work properly, exactly what I was looking for :-).

The bad news is that when you create an installer in the construction specifications, the .msi files are not considered as executable files and can not be integrated in a single installation procedure. Students will have to make several more clicks.

I also noticed that CompactRIO drivers can be integrated into Setup completely, which facilitates the procedure, but adds an another 150 MB to the installer against the 3.5 MB for only the LAN driver.

Maybe this thread will help someone else.

  • The recovery disks do not work for the hard drive replaced in my Presario CQ4010F desktop PC

    Hi all

I have a Compaq Presario CQ4010F Desktop PC (Windows 7 64-bit) in which the hard drive went bad. I bought a new hard drive which is a 1 to, the failed drive was 500 GB. So, I ordered disks system recovery, four in total. The disk labeled 'Use this first!' appear to be running fine, then prompted me to launch the next disc, which I assume is the 1 of 3 system recovery disk. With the computer, always, I inserted the CD 1 of 3 and have waited and watched as nothing has happened. I restarted the PC with the 3 disc 1 again and that will inspire nothing happened. Any help is appreciated in this matter.

    Hello:

If you can't get the recovery disks to work (don't make sure that the keyboard, mouse and monitor are connected), then you can make your own windows 7 installation DVD and use that to at least get windows 7 installed and your PC back to the operation.

    Here's how.

If you can read the Microsoft windows 7 25-character product key, you can download simple Windows 7 ISO files to burn on a DVD for the version of windows that is installed on your PC, and which is listed on the Microsoft COA sticker on your PC case.

Burn the ISO with the option to burn the ISO on your DVD burning program and burn it at the slowest possible speed that will allow your program. This will create a bootable DVD.

Or use the installation of Windows 7 USB/DVD tool to compile the ISO file that you download from Digital River. Link and instructions below. You need a 4 GB flash drive to use the USB compilation method.

    http://www.microsoftstore.com/store/msstore/HTML/pbPage.Help_Win7_usbdvd_dwnTool

Use 25 characters on the PC product key to activate the installation.

The key will activate a 32 or 64 bit installation.

Then go to the support of the PC and driver page to install the drivers you need.

Link to downloads ISO of W7 is below.

  • Any new aid for the standard bug 'Installer cannot initialize' for CS6?

I can't install CS6 because "Setup could not initialize".

This is a very common mistake, and I think I've read suggestions how to overcome the problem.

    especially this one:

    1. Uninstall CS6

    2. apply the Adobe CC cleaning tool

    3 reinstall CS6

It isn't even a log file.

Here, we have such a log file.

    Solution

Activate the preinstalled ' guest' account.

    Start Windows as a guest.

Unfortunately the Office looks terrible (standard windows)

Find the CD drive and start the installation of the CS6.

This method works as well offline (Activation within 7 days later).

When you are done restart as long as the previous user.

    Create icons to monitor.

    Disable the guest account.

    Turn it back on.

It seems, Adobe wants to protect me against the abuse of my own computer...

  • HP EliteBook 8730w: replacement of SSD for the boot drive not recognized

I'm trying to install a Samsung SSD 840 EVO 500 GB instead of the original 500 GB HDD in my Elitebook 8730w (product no. VF889PA #ABG). The 8730w has the latest BIOS (F.20) installed and that is running Windows 7 Professional 32-bit (fully patched).

When it is connected to the laptop through a USB adapter, to clone the HARD disk image. the SSDS works correctly. Cloning through data Migration Samsung is reported as a success, and the image of the C:\ drive occupies approximately 153 GB. The image of the disc does not include the partition of 1 GB dedicated to HP_TOOLS, due to a known limit of the Samsung software supplied.

When it is installed in the HARD drive Bay. the SSD is not recognized as a drive and does not appear in the list of startup options. The available boot options only shown are the DVD or a network boot.

would be very grateful for any advice on the steps required to successfully install the Samsung SSD as boot drive.

    Hmmm.
Honestly no, I'm not happy with this one. If it was my machine, I'd be a little concerned about whats the corner of the street. In view of the age, is not surprising really, things wear out over time, the mere fact of electronics.

Search through everything you have posted, all photos, pdf, all the text double checking. I am absolutely puzzled as to what happened. If you 100% does not reinstall the hard disk between the posts above where no HARD drive is detected in the menu boot options for the post below that where the HARD drive is detected in the same menu. I would say that you have a problem with either, the ssd, the computer motherboard laptop or the small connector on the sata port, I think on these is integrated on the motherboard, so it seems that your advice is doubtful.
If his works now, great... but be aware that your machine can fail at some point in the near future. And it looks like a defect of the motherboard, other things are probably waiting to fail.

There is no reason whatsoever your laptop must not have seen this ssd at first startup. A HARD drive is a HARD disk, if its compatible sata, then it will work, no doubt. When he is not on an older machine, its probably a sign of a faulty component.

Looking through your bios options, I recommend the following.

On startup options, get rid of internal nic pxe boot, that will only slow your machine at startup as it will seek for a network bootable device. This is the message that you get at startup saying Media Test Failure, this page is preventable with this option disabled.
Less built lan/wlan switching on enabled in the options of the terminal, also change. This means that if you use wifi at home for example and you decide to plug in a cable network directly to the router to speed up the connection, it will not pass if it is not defined, you will have to do it manually. I work in a large company and the number of people who have this option is unreal. They all assume when they are docked they will on the wired connection.

Because we are here too, if you ever have problems with a flickering screen, first thing to try, is disable the ambient light sensor which is just below this option of switching. Its fine on normally, but its quite common on 8560p for this causes a flickering screen.

Hope that helped. Good luck in what you decide to do with the machine

  • Question of replacement for the hard drive MacBook Pro Late 2008

    Hello

My MBP HD headed to the exit so I'll take the plunge and get a replacement SSD to install it.  Being not too tech savvie I'm trying to cover all the bases before starting the replacement so I think I'm OK to get to the old and a new one outside.

I read that a clean install of Mac OS X is recommended.  The plan is to install the new SSD and connect the old HD the MBP for a speaker for the migration of files once the SSD has been formatted and installed operating system.  One of my questions is what OS can / should I install in the first place on the new SSD.  I have the Leopard installation disc that came with the MBP, I also have a Snow Leopard install disc I bought (this is the version 10.6.3).  Start with the Snow Leopard disc or do I have to install Leopard first?  I would get the new OS SSD up to version I'm currently on (10.7.5).

My other question is around RAM.  As part of the upgrade, I plan to replace and max of RAM, I've seen is now 8 GB between the two slots.  I read what the maximum capacity to 8 as part of an update of the firmware.  So the question is: should I do all updates of OS before installing the RAM?  The MBP would difficult treat 8GB if the firmware update is not installed through the different software updates that will be needed once the OS is installed on the SSD?

    Advice/suggestions appreciated.

    See you soon

    J

Replace the RAM can be done at any time. If you have already downloaded the firmware required, it has already updated your material and will not be lost when you replace the hard drive. However, according to Apple, your computer can manage only a 4 GB. I could be missing something...

See here: MacBook Pro (15-inch, Late 2008) - technical data sheet

As far as your OS issue, the best thing to do is get the updated software to match the information that you are migrating back (to make sure no problem with migration). The best way to do it, is to download recovery disk wizard and install it on an extra USB key. This allows you to install Lion without having to install Leopard or Snow Leopard first. This will also use disk utility to format the new SSD correctly.

"Please contact support team of the application for more information."

    So, here I am.

I tried to run the installer in Windows XP mode and same results.

Thanks for any help you can offer.

Thank you for the reference - looks/sounds complicated.

However, I tried to install the downloaded file, and the CD of the software on a desktop computer in my office at home without the attached printer. When I moved it near enouugh to the printer actually connect and turn on, Windows 7 has recognized the printer, searched and installed the software, and now everything works - even the scanner.

The software of HP still load, but now I think that I don't like.

I'll test the fax feature, but I expect to work as well.

If you please mark it as resolved, even if your software does not always load.

Yes, it will support a 500 GB or HDD Terrabyte 7200 RPM 2.5 inch SATA. Your installation can be transferred to a new larger drive using cloning. There are several programs that can do of CLonezilla (free) to pay software like Acronis True Image. Need you a SATA to usb adapter to hold the new player during the clone process.

  • 2x2.5 Z1 for the swap drive hard 1x3.5

I have a new Z1 with the 1 TB 3.5 hard drive, which seems a bit noisy for me - not strong but sometimes annoying. I think I want to swap out for 2 2.5 HDs, a 128 GB SSD for the operating system, programs, and the second a spinner of 750Go. I checked with technical support to see if I would need an adapter and told me "the workstation requires one of the following carriers supported: 671193-001 supports a 3.5-inch disk hard;" supports a 671192-001 or hard disks of 2.5 inches of tw. "This was taken directly from page 48 of the Service Guide and Maintenance Z1 HP. But I can't find the list of one of these pieces on the HP site or anywhere else. What I find is the reference to B2P96AA, which appears in many places for $79 and more. Described on page 5 of the HP downloadable booklet "develop feed you - HP Workstation accessories" as the "HP Z1 HDD carrier Kit (for 3.5-inch drive or two 2.5-inch drives."

"Does anyone know if the B2P96AA is another part that is installed in a new Z1 configured with a 3.5" drive. »

Both Z1 product descriptions and description of part B2P96AA clearly suggest that a Z1 should work with either a disk 3.5 "or one or two 2.5" or readers without any modifications or additional investments.

Maintenance of workstation HP Z1 and Service of Guide, page 48...

The workstation supports only SATA hard drives.

The workstation requires one of the following carriers supported:

    671193 001 supports a 3.5-inch hard drive

671192 001 supports one or two 2.5-inch hard drives

It is not possible to combine a HDD 2.5 inch and 3.5 inch hard drive.

No cables adapters are required for all hard disks. The necessary cables for all hard drive configurations are included in the base system and automatically "blind mate" or "direct connection" to the drive during installation.

My advice is to open your computer and pull the existing disc holder. This reference number, it is on this carrier?  Look at the space where the existing carrier came of... are there links to two discs? Do you see a space for a second aircraft carrier in the car?

I tried to set up a company Z1 CTO and all readers have been listed as SFF (small footprint). It seems that hard drives 2.5 "come in up to 5 different heights... 5, 7, 9.5, 12.5 and 15 millimeters.

Call HP about the correct configuration customer support and reference numbers. Two drives 2.5 "in two carriers? or two 2.5 "slim / SFF readers in the carrier waves? or what?
