The update always fails to install and the code-"WindowsUpdate_00000057" "WindowsUpdate_dt000", error

·        What updates you are trying to install on the system?

·        Have you installed other updates on the system before this update?

Step 1:

Make sure that Windows Update is underway which must be installed on the system.

a. click on Start menu and type Windows Update in the start search box and press ENTER.

b. click on Check for Updates and update checking is in progress which must be installed on the system.

Let us know the number of the update.

Step 2:

Reset windows update components and check. Follow the steps mentioned in the article below.
