Create a BlackBerry ID token

I can not enter a password in the symbolic form of BlackBerry ID, so I try to ask key via the page of Code signing.  When I select the checkbox 'for BlackBerry 10 apps developed with the help of a BlackBerry 10 SDK 10.2 or higher or BlackBerry WebWorks 10...', I'm immediately redirected to the login page.

I'm asking a key for a reconditioned app that I built using the tools of repackaging for Android 1.6.1.

Here is the link I used to request keys:

https://www.BlackBerry.com/SignedKeys/Codesigning.html

I applied the last update of Java on my workstation and I can now access to create a symbolic form of BlackBerry ID.  The form was inaccessible before, so I tried to ask key like I did in the past.

  • Problems of updating the app with a new BlackBerry ID token for the signature

    Hi all

Since may 2014, I have an application that I update often... This may 2015 my BB ID token expired, so I created a new one with the same BlackBerry ID account, that I have used before. However, I am facing some problems to make a new update, I got the "file bundle (votre_nom) was rejected. Package ID is required for all .bar file. "If this is an upgrade, ID of Package must match the ID of Package original batch file."

The thing is, my application has been signed with the same BB ID account and keep the same package name, as always.

Circumvention of this topic (link here) say contact at BB Vendor Management Support to update my application, but is not guaranteed retain the same downloaded application to the BB world.

My question is: if I generate a new BB ID token with the same account ID to BB, and I keep the same name of packgane, how can I do to update my application without losing my users?

    THX

The account name or package BlackBerry ID has changed.  It is the only cause of this error.  Here's how you can verify that it has changed.

    1. Open your original BAR file with a utility like WinZip archives.
    2. Extract of the MANIFEST. MF file in the META-INF directory.
    3. Repeat this procedure with your new file BAR.
    4. Open the manifest files in a text editor.
    5. Compare package-author-Id and the name of the Package in the manifest.

If the package-author-Id is different, the application was signed with a different account.  If the Package name is different, then that changed.

If you find that package-author-Id has changed and you do not know what account has been used send me the package-author-Id in a private message and I can watch it for you.

  • BlackBerry Z3 can I create a Blackberry ID using the same email address, but with a different password?

I use 2 phones and I am ready to create a new blackberry on the 2nd ID, but it requires an email address and I don't have that one email address that I use for everything. I want to know if it is possible to create a new BBID with the same e-mail address but different password. The main thing is I want both phones to be active and fully functional, but I don't have a single address email and I prefer not to create another email address, because I love all of my emails in one place rather then having 2 email addresses. I don't want any phone be disabled. I do not fear one of the BBM is turned off, as long as at least one works. Both phones are a Blackberry Curve 9320 and a Blackberry z10, which is one waiting to be activated.

No this is not possible. The BBID, you use is associated with the device, you are using, the e-mail address is the user and cannot be associated with two BlackBerry smartphones to consider it time of the password.

I suggest that you create a new e-mail address for the sole purpose of using it as a BlackBerry ID.

No this is not possible, the e-mail address you used your BBID, is associated with the device that you use it on. It is also the BBID username. And cannot be used on another device, no matter that there is a different password.

I suggest that you create a new e-mail account, just for the sole purpose of using it as a BBID.

    Hello

For the last 10 days I tried to create my ID Blackberry App World, but I still get the message: the password you entered does not respect the requirements of the length or character. Please enter a password that has a minimum of 6 characters. I tried to save it on my PC and through my bb, tried two different e-mail addresses, various pseudonyms and multiple different passwords (all with more than 6 but less than 16 characters, only letters or letters and numbers) - nothing works. I would be very grateful for any help in this frustrating situation.

    Thank you!

OK, I finally created an account and see the stupid thing I kept doing was the passsword identical to the password recovery answer... once I made them different tada!

  • Calendar type to create for blackBerry Smartphones

    Hello

I would like to know if it is possible to change the type of calendar when you add a new appointment in the default calendar application? Depending on the calendar, I mean "Default" and "Facebook"? I would like to create more, but I can't find how. And is it possible to use the 'default' one? I tried to go to Options-> advanced-> default Services Options and modify the CICAL but I can't change the value of it, only Facebook is available.

I have the Curve 8530 and the most recent update.

    Thanks in advance!

Oh, I was not SO clear (I can be slow too ahah)

What I wanted to, that is. I used 3 calendars. By default, Group and Facebook. I added my appointments in 'Group' so I wouldn't add to facebook, but now this 'group' is gone. Let's say I want to add appointments in several groups as 'TV Show', 'Homework' or 'meetings '. Is it possible to create this group without a Plan of data or any email on my Blackberry?

    Hello

Do you have manually created the calendar 'Group' or have you used Blackberry Messenger and were members of a group?

It is difficult to discuss, as the Blackberry was designed for internet and e-mail access. The device default calendar actually serves mainly catch appointments lost of calendars associated with e-mail. What you ask, it's essentially maximum instead of what other users.

I'm not saying that your application is not valid at all. I have an option to create a calendar using your examples of self appointed groups have never seen. I just tried it on a Blackberry 8330 and 9530 which are not connected to a data plan and my 9550 i.e. data enabled. All are on the device OS 5.0.

It's the best answer I can provide.

  • !!! [important] Package-author-Id is not correct

    Hello

Today, I have great difficulty with BB10 application signature.

That he sells in the guidelines author.p12 backup and bbidtoken.csk, I created, after the restoration and the new version of the application of signature I get hurt - ID package. I know that the Package Id depends on ndo 2 variables 1 is the name of the Package, 2nd is the Package ID - author-. In my new application where is a different package-author-Id

So there is a question, how to change package-author-Id in the app if I have author.p12 and the bbidtoken.csk, passwords and the sources?

Some more strange is that package-author-hash of certificate is identical but the package-author-Id is different.

I need explantion BlackBerry team: is it possible to sign app with package-author-Id assigned to bbitoken before it was related to old keys? This is a problem, because if this isn't the case, many developers may be in trouble with update of the applications, it was not described and/or noticed on BlackBerry sites.

Your original signature keys code would have a package-author-ID.  When you create a BlackBerry ID token, he would have a different package-author-ID.  Once you link your BlackBerry ID Token to your code signing keys, it takes the author-package-Id from your code signing keys.

This allows you to continue to create upgrades to applications signed with your original signature keys and still have the BlackBerry IT benefits chips bring (easily restore and change the password).  Ideally, they are closely as soon as you install them.  It is not a way to unlink an account.

  • Error: BBID token has expired

    Hi all

I want to install the debugging token to BB10 (BlackBerry Q5). When I install using blackberry-debugtokenrequest, it displays error: BBID token has expired. I have signature request new key by using this link: https://www.blackberry.com/SignedKeys/codesigning.html and have successfully install save the RDK and COMINCO. But, when I install it using blackberry-debugtokenrequest, it's always the same error, BBID token has expired.

Could you help me solve this error?

    Thank you.

Follow the first link on the page that you linked.  Which will allow you to create a new BlackBerry ID token.  Make sure that you connect using the same account to BlackBerry ID used to create your token of origin.

The RDK/COMINCO the previous way of signing method and will be ignored if a BlackBerry ID token is present (which explains why he always uses your token expired).

  • Problem with the BlackBerry Developer Site

We are currently experiencing a problem with the integration of BlackBerry ID with the BlackBerry Developer web site.  This prevents the developers to create a new BlackBerry ID Token, connecting Issue Tracker and Developer area and potentially other areas that require authentication.  Trying to access one of these pages gives the following error.

Sorry, there is a problem with the page you are trying to reach and it cannot be displayed. Please try again later.

Teams are trying to solve the problem.  We apologize for the inconvenience.

The problem has been resolved.  You should now be able to connect Issue Tracker and generate BlackBerry ID chips again.
