Create an executable of data to another computer
Hello
I programmed an application. It is now time to run it on another computer. I know that I can't just run the *.exe on the new computer data. In my view, must create a kid of distribution but I don't have any expierence with one in LabWindows. Can someone give me some information how I can do and what is important to note?
Best regards
Hi, this topic is fully covered by the assistance of the CVI: see using LabWindows/CVI > project management > construction project > topic requests Distributing.
As an additional reference, you can read this white paper which includes a step by step guide:

It would be 10 to 100 times faster than cable. No idea what your connection speed is only a load more than 5 MB is unusual during the transfer cable can be ~ 500 Mb

How to transfer all data to a computer (portable OS10.11.4) to another computer (iMac OS10.11.4), I forgot?
Assuming this is just transfer some data from the user.
put on the same home network.
On a Mac preferences enable system-> sharing-> file sharing
On the other Finder-> go-> connect to server-> Browse-> select the other computer and log in as admin user so that you can access all
Drag and drop entire folders from one Mac to another.
If you want to copy more information, there are Applications-> utilities-> Migration Wizard.
There are utilities such as Carbon Copy Cloner to copy information between systems.
You can copy the information to an external drive, move the drive to the other system and copy the information in the other system on the external drive.

USB-6008 how to move an executable file to another computer.
Hello Forums NOR! Please bear with me as I'm new to products OR as well as this forum. Hope I have write in good advice. I'm an electronics technician with over 30 years of experience in a variety of hardware and software that is trying to move an executable file from an old computer to Windows XP on a new computer Win 8.
First of all, I just moved the file .exe itself. When it is run, it produces an error dialog box: "Unable to locate the LabVIEW run-time engine" "this executable requires a 2011 version (or compatible) LabVIEW Run - Time Engine."
Then I ran the installation disc driver supplied with the USB-6008 module. Now, the executable will start but it does not seem to connect with the USB-6008, because it does not have the digital I/o.
I can run NI MAX and see the USB module as well as test the analog and the digital I/o so I know the hardware works.
I've been surfing on the knowledge base and found references to .dll & .vi type support files, but have no idea of which ones to get and where they might be.
This is possible without having to recompile the exe file? I have no access to the source files.
Thank you!

Hello. I use Windows 7 Professional. I am trying to create an executable file. I searched here and I am also watching youtube videos more my online OR training and following the directions. The problem is that all of the examples I could find are older versions of windows. I have attached my project, but also a screenshot of what happens. I did however, when I double-click on the executable file it doesn't open the Vi, it opens the file used to create the executable file. I don't know if the difference is due to the OS, but I followed behind the videos as much as possible, with a few points mark because I have is exactly what show training videos. I also LV 2014 and it does not with training videos, but it seems that it is not a big difference between the two. If I have not provided sufficient information made me know. The password to the Vi is "2015". Thank you
Within the executable build specification ("Piezo rig"), go to the tab "Source Files" and you add main VI ("displacement piezoelectric test exe.vi") at the start section screws.
You shouldn't have problems based on the operating system or version of LabVIEW. Make sure that you install runtime matching as well as the executable file if you are deploying to another computer.

Copy the hard of a data to another store
I need a script to copy a file hard of a data to another store. I'm wanting to copy a block aligned to the hd format of a data to a newly created virtual computer store, but I'm not eager to do it manually every time, I create a virtual machine. Any suggestions?
You can use the Copy-DatastoreItem cmdlet to do this.
Seems that I forgot the hard drive Copy cmdlet.
Makes it even easier
For example:
$newLocation = "[DS2] NewFolder" $vmName = "PC1" Get-VM $vmName | Get-HardDisk | %{ Copy-HardDisk -HardDisk $_ -DestinationPath $newLocation }
This will copy all the hard drives on PC1 on the new data store.
Note that you must be connected to an ESX (i), not the vCenter server.

Can work with custom brushes was seen on another computer?
OK, here is my situation, I have a project that I used a few custom brushes.
I'll save on USB.
One then show to a friend on her ON another computer.
The strokes custom work will appear on its HAVE on another computer?
Or I have to develop traits? Or save custom brushes?
Thank you
P.S. I DON'T ask if I can use these brushes custom on another computer, I ask if work that I created on a computer with custom brushes can be seen on another computer, just to clarify.
Brushes incorporate composite like any other type of object data when the PDF compatibility option is active. The appearance will remain intact. It may simply be impossible to change things.

Is there a way to save all my tabs at once and transfer them to another computer?
No, I'm not talking about having to first laboriously click each tab, bookmarking them, following the instructions to transfer your Favorites file and them by clicking on each bookmark to reopen your tabs. I wonder about a one click way to save all my tabs and the download on another computer, just like Firefox on opening/closing.
Thank youThis can be done through Sync.

If Mozilla is server-based, why are my bookmarks/favorites not available when I connect to my account? Thanks for any help!
This must be provided. Firefox is not based on server it is installed on your device.
It is possible to synchronize the devices using Firefox Sync, but it is not appropriate if you use someone elses computer.
You might consider taking a copy of your bookmarks with you or placing them available somewhere on the web (or on a medium such as a memory stick).
- Use bookmarks HTML
- Export your bookmarks as HTML. Open this file with Firefox. Try it first on your local computer.
- See Export Firefox bookmarks to an HTML file for backup or transfer bookmarks
- Noticing no need to import the file it will be readable in Firefox. It is not not searchable from the address bar or bookmarks manager, but it should be a useful list of usable and searchable.
- Use a Firefox profile on the other computer.
If you have Firefox installed and the permission of the owner of the other computer (it can be your own additional machine), you will be able to synchronize or migrate the profile details, including bookmarks. Or just restore a set of bookmarks from the other machine.
- Use bookmarks HTML

Binder to move my profile on another computer. Thunderbird file names are too long
Hi, I am trying to copy my profile for a new installation on another computer (win 7 box to win box of 8). In the past, it worked smoothly without any problem (did not have to do it for a few years).
I packed my profile in winRAR and copied over the network to the new box. Then when I tried to UN-package, I get 1 403 error (for example):
C:\Users\bishwa\AppData\Roaming\Thunderbird\Profiles\Thunderbird.rar: Failed to create Thunderbird\Profiles\kvab3n9j.default\Mail\Local Folders\Archives.sbd\2008.mozmsgs\!~!UENERkVCMDkAAQACAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAABgAAAAAAAAAtzIdrbNYbEyD2Ii4jsEC1sKAAAAQAAAAiX4V0vbwoEOHNtCONhiLYAEAAAAA%40netspace.net.au.wdsemlTotal path and file name length must not exceed 260 characters The system cannot find the path specified.
I am running the latest version of Thunderbird.
So is this a fundamental flaw with the design of software and how it plays today with Windows? Is there a work around?
Thank you!
Just delete anything mozmesgs, it's more than a thousand files, you have just to get Windows search can find mail. A waste of space and a poor search to start.

Connect another computer to Firefox Sync
I have Firefox Sync on my laptop main (COMP1) and I added my iPhone (DEVICE1). This configuration works very well.
Now, I have a new laptop (COMP2) and plan to retire COMP1.
What is the best approach to recreate my connection to COMP2 and Device1?
I tried to use this method, but do not think it will work once I have wipe ordi1:
https://support.Mozilla.org/en-us/KB/how-do-i-set-up-Firefox-sync?redirectlocale=en-us & redirectslug=share-Bookmarks-Tabs-and-more-Your-Other-Computers#w_get-the-code-on-another-computerSteps followed:
Connect another computer to Firefox SyncFollow these steps on the second computer you are trying to add to Firefox Sync.
At the top of the Firefox window, click the Firefox button and select Set Up Sync. The Firefox Sync Setup window will open. Click I Have an Account. Since you're not near the device with Sync already set up, click the I don't have the device with me link. Sign in to your Sync account: Enter your account email address Enter your password Enter your Recovery Key Then click Next You will see a Setup Complete screen. Click Finish to complete adding this device to your Sync account.
First of all, the various devices / computers don't connect to each other. It's a game Star connections; the synchronization server is the "hub" (lies in the middle) and each device / computer is a 'speak '.
What you have described is the way to go, but you forgot a step - Unlink (prefs sync) Comp 1 before you wipe the data from it! Or disconnect your network connection prior to erasure. Either of those who will avoid the changes that you make to ordi1 to be sent to the server, so no deletion of your synchronization had given from the server or other device when they connect on the synchronization server.

I have not yet used sync, but I sense it's going to be a problem if I do. I have different bookmarks I want to keep it on each computer. Sync will delete the bookmarks on a single computer and replace the bookmarks from another computer in their place? So I think that will erase the bookmarks on the second computer you configured to synchronize. Is there a way to merge bookmarks on every computer in the library of a bookmark that contains all bookmarks on both computers, so I'm not all bookmarks in sync?
Just to be clear, this is something that we have commented several times in the forum, Firefox Sync adds everything that is already in the device for the account and pushes this info for the rest of the devices.
So if you have 2 computers with data X and the other with the data from there, once you set up synchronization in both computers you will have X + Y at the same time.
I hope that clarifies the doubts...

Hello fellow Mac users...
Today, while using, Firefox A message appeared on my screen: another computer on your network is using the ip address of your computer.
Now, I am 100% sure that my phone was turned off when it happened. And I have a password on my wifi connection.
I panicked because no one should have access to my network or my IP address. Immediately, I turned off my modem and turned off the wifi on my mac.
Later, I went to renew the DHCP lease.
My question is this:
Could it be, in theory, based on the message system I (another computer on your network is using the ip address of your computer) the IP address was stolen (for lack of a better word) by a remote user, which is not in my physical neighborhood that is resident in another city or even country?
If so, then I did the right thing by closing my Modem? And later on the DHCP lease renewal? About 20-30 minutes past until what I actually renewed the DHCP lease. It, in theory, could have too late to do (assuming that a malicious user has chosen to masquerade himself with my IP address)?
Thank you all very much!
I'm not a specialist iP/Wifi etc, I'm more than a convenience store of OS X, but...
What was the popup of? -FireFox, the webpage or your Mac?
