Create cloud users

Hi, I just start with adobe document cloud/adobe reader to store work order forms and remote fill on-site. At the end of each day the office opens a session on the cloud and removes filled pdf forms and store them on our server. then they are replaced by the forms required for the next day. Currently everyone who wants to have access to newspapers from forms of theses on the player application from adobe with the same credentials, so give their all the same rights and access to all the files on the cloud. Is it possible to have multiple connections so that we can control files, some people have access to? I don't know if this was really designed to do this, but it seems like with this function and possibly some storage features extra it would be a fantastic form solution.

Hello

Adobe Document Cloud space is specific to a user unless you share your login (which is not recommended for security reasons). It is not possible to create multiple connections.

It is designed to backup your data, do not share the same space of cloud with others.

You can however will be a form of feature request for this feature request/Bug Report Form.

Kind regards
Nicos

  • Creating cloud .lrdata import to LR5

I help out a friend and change a few things for her. She uses Adobe Creative Cloud and I use Lightroom 5. I tried that it exports a catalog and create intelligent insights... but what she sent me was a '. '. lrdata' which LR5 won't let me import as a catalog, even though I have the file uncompressed it.»

When I've done it before (when I was the only one sending files), through my LR5 to LR5 user, I have two files that produce... a ".lrcat" file and the intelligent previews file that I send.

How can I get the .lrdata file (which I believe now contains the lrdata and the lrcat?) Creative cloud user to import and to be usable in LR5, so I can change the images?

Lightroom catalogs are not retro-compatible, so you can't open a catalog created by LR CC in LR5.

The .lrdata folder contains the regular previews, and I don't think that it is necessary or helpful in this situation.

What you have (if you run LR CC) is the catalog file (.lrcat) and intelligent previews file.

But without CC LR you will not be able to open the catalog to your friend.

  • 5.1.7 server on El Capitan: create a user with a personalized folder location

I've recently upgraded to El Capitan on my server once an apple advisor told me that 5.1.7 server had a bunch of bug fixes for Open Directory(which I plan on using down the road). Given that the Working Group Manager is not compatible with 10.11...

Is there a way to create a user with a personalized folder location? When I create a user on the server, I can choose to create a home folder, with or without limitation in the disc or make the service of the user only. My problem is that I have no way (that I know) in the window of creating user to change the location of this folder.

I tried to create a model of a user with a basic 'tailor-made' folder location (Volume/promised Pegasus/Home 2016 / etc...) but when I create the user, the home folder is not in the specified path.

The "work around" I found for this batch of user is to create in the default location then move them on my raid Promise Pegasus, change the path to the advanced option to the each user and reassign the appropriate permissions.

It is not so much a problem if I would deal with users 10. But I have to manage/create about 130-150 users every 5-6 months.

I guess that there is an easier way to create a user with a custom home folder location. It would make sense that apple removes the Workgroup Manager and does not replace its characteristics.

Best case scenario is that I do evil and do not hesitate to let me know if this is the case!

    Thank you

    Francis

I may be wrong, but it seems that Workgroup Manager version 10.8 works under El Capitan: I can certainly start the application and query users / groups that are there.  I guess maybe it's on the machine as a rest to be updated periodically since days Lion... but it also shows that if you can find a copy, you may be able to run on your machine.

  • Create a user admin for backup

    Hi all

I have a Macbook and I was wondering if I could create a user to admin level which would have all programs on my Mac so that if I were to have to delete my user and all connected to the user, I would have this user "admin" who will have all the programs in my mac and be able to recreate my user.

I know I'm probably going to lose my documents and other things like that, but for those who I have a backup on my HARD drive.

With respect to the time Machine, I started to make backups a little late, and I'm looking for is more than a user who has access to all programs without having to remember which version of my time machine this program was in.

    Thank you and best regards

I think you just want to add a new user in the preferences system/users and groups , with perhaps an administrator name and define the type of Standard to administrator. This extra admin account has the same access to your applications as any other user.

This way you have another administrator account in the case where your are messed up somehow and you need an admin account.

    Hi, Ahmed.

It seems that the domain name you have selected is not available (or has already been used and it is found that the previous owner of the domain has used the same user name as an account).  In any case we can not help you here.  You need help from domain.live.

Please go to http://help.live.com/help.aspx?project=domains&market=en-us&querytype=keyword&query=SNIAMODTUOBA&tmt=&domain=domains.live.com&format=b1 and down, click on support and follow the prompts to get help.  Although it is technically to the implementation of the field, I'm sure that your application will be either still answered or they will direct you to the proper location for assistance.

In addition, you can try http://windowslivehelp.com/product.aspx?productid=25 for help Windows Live Administration.  If you can not find help with solutions validated or by performing a search, try posting in the forums.  I suggest the following for the problem that you specified: http://windowslivehelp.com/forums.aspx?forumid=7e6f04c0-6a48-4719-98f4-a9729d34c76e.

  • Create a user account specific for the base game.

I would like to be able to create a user account to install a basic version of a game that has expansion packs installed on a different user account. is this possible?

It will not work as it is, as it will be installed to the same file location.  However, it can work if you create another folder to install sub in the user account.

    Example: C:/program files/games/game

make a folder of the game - 2

    C:/program files/games/game-2

so you want to now the-2 is the second.

I can't recipient that it will work, as all games are different *.

  • Unable to create a user in XP limited account

I just installed Windows XP on a new computer and the default user account is administrator. I want to create a limited for General connections to the Internet user account, but the Panel will only allow me to create a second administrator account.  When I did that Windows doesn't let me pass this second account to a limited account. Please can you help me? Thank you.

Create the second administrator, then restart. The first administrator will probably disappear and are visible only in safe mode. You must create the user limited with the second administrator account.

  • I tried to create a USER with administrator rights, as suggested by XP, but now I don't see the icon administrator when connecting?

My new user does not have the original administrator logon icon the same settings, computer desktop or programs I should use and before setting up the new user.  How can I copy, convert or restore settings (find) the Director, programs, files, documents, office, Internet settings and Favorites, etc. to the new USER?

Since owning my laptop I had connected using the Administrator icon and had an icon of comments, as well, until last Thursday.  I tried to follow the advice of XP and create USERS, so the administrator access would not be compromised.  Children were downloading apps and devours space... I was afraid they would accidentally remove a program or file, or worse... Then...

When I set up my USER he asked me if I would be the Admiistrator. I said yes.  But, when iI rebooted my laptop, only the icon of the USER (S) presented at the connection... the Administrator icon was missing. and my new USER reflects only a few shortcuts shared on the desktop...

I expect Admin rights and my old administrator settings.  I need to recover them because all my documents and especially my work programs do not exist.

Help, please!  It would be greatly appreciated EV.  I would like to restore to last Wednesday, if the system would, but it seems that it will not.

    Sincerely,

    KC

What you experienced is normal.  When you create another user, the original administrator account becomes hidden.  It's still there (in fact, it cannot be deleted), it just doesn't appear in the login screen.

You should still be able to login as administrator.  When you get to the login screen, just tap Ctrl-Alt-Del twice.  This will bring up a login dialog window.  Just enter 'Administrator' in the user name and the password (if any) in the password line and press 'return '.  If you want or need to copy your files and data from the administrator account to the new account that you created, and then follow the steps in the following procedure and claim that your administrator profile is corrupted or damaged.
