  I was looking for a way to add a search value in a custom table. There are many many messages but guess I'm missing something conceptually.
  
  I created a synonym in IOM Db with the name CUST_APT with the following columns:
  ID
  Description
  Status
  
  then I created a list definition of choice with the following credentials:
  
  Code: Lookup.Description
  Field: Description
  Groups: Appt
  
  then I defined a USR_UDF_APPT UDF (Lookup type) for users and addition of the following properties for this UDF
  
  search query: select CUST_APT description
  The column legend: appointment
  Column name: DESCRIPTION
  Lookup column name: DESCRIPTION
  
  I added
  LookupField.Header.Description
  
  xlWebAdmin_en_US.properties and xlWebAdmin.properties
  
  now, when I arrived in the form of the user to create, the appointment text field is visivle but when I click on Details Lookup ledge, it is empty.

  Just try:

  Query: Select USR_FIRST_NAME from USR
  Width = 200
  COlumnName: USR_FIRST_NAME
  COl search name: USR_FIRST_NAME

• Alert on custom table does not

  I create a custom alert based on a custom table. The event fires only when insert or update the table.

  And then I create or update the data, but the alert does not and then I check the history of this alert, no data found.

  My diagram is PVL and was recorded in Oracle.

  My custom table is XPV_INV_TRANSPORT_COST_DTL and has been registered with the AD_DD API. REGISTER_TABLE and AD_DD. REGISTER_COLUMN.

  and this custom table stands and all the privileges granted to applications too.

  Is there any step I'm missing to generate the alert?

  Any Suggestion?

  1. use JDeveloper to connect to your schema custom: view > Database > Database Navigator > new connection

  2. set the mpdel of your table column names, types of data, constraints (primary key, not null, foreign key, etc..)

  3. use this simplified tutorial to create the table according to your model of table create statement - Oracle/PLSQL: CREATE TABLE statement

  4. execute the statement in the SQL of JDeveloper journal for the custom connection (point 1 above).

  I'm a PL/SQL Developer and need help or advice on how I would go about using Oracle EBS to build the structure of the table below in the Application. The intention is that users will keep the table using Oracle EBS, rather than build a table, they may not maintain app.

  Initially I thought that this may be an easy task with the help of a fnd_lookup, but I quickly understood the research do not allow several values per line. I assume that the alternative might be to create a custom form and attach it to a custom table that has the structure below, but before I head in that direction, I want to see if Oracle EBS has a built-in feature to this?

  Guessing that Header1 would be the identifier of your line, you have a few options:

  Independent the header value 1 and value dependent value for 2-5 headings.

  Search using Header1 as code, then using DFFs for the remaining columns. Use the type of research according to the context, why the FDF applies only to this research.

  If you use HR/Payroll modules, there is a feature of defined user tables easily available.

• Creating a table to a csv file

  I use the JDeveloper 11.1.1.6.
  
  I'm looking to recover data to a .csv file and load it into a custom table made just for the data in the file.
  
  I managed to load the csv file in a data control with a Service URL data control. I wonder how to take data from the data control and place it in a Java object so that I can make the dynamic creation of sql create statement table. I know how to do dynamic creation - it's just to access the data of the data control to which I am at this point.
  
  If there is a better way to do it, I would be also open to it! Thank you!

• iProc extension CO/VO nested am not writing data in a custom table

  We had a requirement to capture additional data when you submit a request for change of Req by iProc. To do this, I customized the page to add a new checkbox. At the same time, I expanded the VO to maintain the value of the checkbox. Since it is not recommended to extend the AM root, I created a nested AM and extended the CO to manage the press button and write the value of the id of header request and the box in a custom table.

  Since I am fairly new to the development of the OFA, I used a method similar to how Oracle does things and used OracleCallableStatement to pass values to a package in the database. All this seems to work as expected, IE the correct values are passed, but the data does not appear in the custom table.
  
  Here is the required statement:

  I tried with "commit; end; ». I tried to issue a commit in the PL/SQL immediately following the INSERT. I do not know or the other is necessary because the transaction is committed if the PL/SQL is successful. The transaction is determined in the AM nested glancing AM root as follows;

  I don't know that I really need to issue a commit in Java after the PL/SQL, such that the transaction will get engaged in due course when the standard code is executed. In fact, it's probably better not to what it should all be rolled back if there is a problem with the standard treatment.
  
  Am I missing something here? I am considering an alternative solution is new VO based on an EO for the new custom table. Could set the id request header for the new VO in code based on the value of the current ChangeOrderHeaderVO?
  
  EDIT: I would add that at no time will I be query this table to iProc. Still, it will be written to.

  Not sure if this is the best solution, but I tried with a VO EO based on which I added to the AM root when running. Data are now displayed in the table as planned.

  I need to create custom DAC execution plan to load data into tables. in fact schema we build with 2 custom tables Sun, 8 tables OOTB (fact and Sun). So I need to copy the OOTB existing execution plan, delete unwanted tables, stains ect and rebuild. But I do not know the exact process to do could you please provide step by step details?
  
  We use 10.1.3.4.1 OBIEE, BI Apps 7.9.6.1 and customer DAC is on windows XP.

  Can´t you have the hyphen (-) in the column names and that s why MySQL chokes on the column 'email '. That said, please rename this column 'e-mail' or 'email' (underscores are allowed)

I tried with the concept [myArray.sort ()] before writing in the text file. It works but it first sorts the letters and then it sorts the lowercase of each input. For example,.

  We can settle this report perfectly with InDesign TOC options. I tried to create the style of table of contents through javascript, but I'm unable to do so. Can anyone suggest me how to create style table of contents (with a paragraph style and sort entries in alphabetical order option) or how to import another document TOC styles using javascript.

  That's what JS using said of table-> sorting:

  Sub sort (userFunction: Function)
  Sorts the elements in the array in place, using the given function to compare elements.
  If no function is provided, the elements are sorted alphabetically. Not return a return value.

  As it is said, the default behavior is to sort alphabetically - and hence they must mean "in ASCII order. What you need is a custom sort routine. A few more string manipulations, I come to this conclusion:

  You do not have to join, ask just DBA_OBJECTS (where type_objet = 'TABLE' and object_name like '% ZZ') or (where object_type = 'TABLE' and OWNER = "CUSTOM SCHEMA"). If you follow the standards of customization, custom tables/index should exist under the custom schema (and not under APPS schema).

  Yes, you can have a one word title, by assigning a paragraph style title to this one word. No, you cannot change the text in a Table of contents, but you can change paragraph style font attributes (line) and add for example, a head of points between the types of OCD paragraph and page numbers. No part of the table of contents will not provide hyperlinks in exported PDF documents.

  When you look up in the menu bar, you can see the word iPages, or simply Pages. There is no product of iPages.
