I can't test the script at the moment, but looking at it, I see that all of the loop is in a try-catch. This means that if it encounters an error, it stop all the graphics processing more. There may be a good reason for this, but I think you could just move the try-catch in the loop for, so he can catch any error link individual without stopping completely. Something like this:

Forum syntax gives me a hard time, but I probably throw a "alert (myGrName)" in those who would attract media so that you can begin to try to understand where there is slightest mistake out (if it's indeed the problem).

Not really as photoshop can't write in raw the camera file photo, just the car aside. However, if you are on windows, Microsoft has a camera raw driver for windows 7. I him have not tested with windows 8.

Today, I was delighted to see the newly implemented for PremierePro proxy workflow.
Unfortunately I have not yet figured out how to apply this workflow for image sequences.
Is this possible?
Background:
We do not stop motion animation and all our images always comes into frame sequences with each frame being 20 MP. We want to keep the resolution up to photo-serrure, because we would like to keep the possibility to crop and zoom into images.
So far, we have created lowquality of sequences of images as proxies (in the same resolution) and they use them for editing in a FullHD timeline, where we can evolve and frame (and of course change) images. After picture lock replaced the original media. Once the images is online and the harvest is final, we create a FullHD prores file for VFX and editing.
But this process is error-prone.
When I now import a sequence of images in the creation and create a proxy for her, a mov with only the first image file is created.
Which is obviously useless.
My question:
1 would it not possible to import a sequence of images and create a sequence of images of proxy (with the same interpretation of the images, i.e. of framerate) from the original image sequence?
2. the sequence of images proxy perhaps erred in lower resolution (original image in format 5760 x 3840 px, resolution 1920 x 1080 proxy), and once I pass the proxy to original scaling is adjusted accordingly.
Really looking forward to some tips to achieve this!

I had a little further:
I made a mistake by creating templates in the MediaEncoder:
I created a coding model and not a model of ingestion (who both the end of the .edr file), which should in fact have been obvious.
So now I have:
1 has created a file of 5760 x 3840 Prores4444 out of sequence of images
2 imported the first PorRes4444
3 creates a proxy using my own template (ProRes 422 Proxy 1920 x 1280) with aspect ratio 3:2.
It works, BUT:
When I play the file on the timeline proxy, the proxy file is adjusted differently than the original file (proxy disabled), but only during playback.

It is not uncommon for me to have a half dozen + copies of a single image. I create these extra images that appear spontaneously myself this system should be obliging. I have 12 items and the Windows 7 operating system.

Create hyperlinks with script, without increase of large size and treatment of the BP reqs resulting?
 
			 
Quick Summary: I have a script as part of a process involving a lengthy document of data merge base that creates hyperlinks by using doc.hyperlinkURLDestinations.add (). The script is simply extracted from text into clickable hyperlinks.
The problem is, the final PDF files that emerge from this process are 300% the size of a PDF file without the running script and are very slow to deal with. Most of that extra weight from an increase of 740 000% crazy (!) in the amount of data used for "info-Structure" (and that's after you run the version with hyperlinks through the Acrobat PDF Optimizer).
The amount of the data structure in the PDF files with hyperlinks ends up being more than twice the size of the entire file PDF files without hyperlinks added. There is also a substantial increase in the size of the "the cross reference Table.
This sharp increase in weight becomes a quick and simple process which takes a few minutes in a slow winding which takes hours, to the creation of files with a very slow pace inflated in a process that is prone to crashing and not.
I hope for another way to create hyperlinks that adds all this weight.

Details: Here is my current process. It works fine except step 2 causes the final size of the PDF file and the time required for the execution of other processes to increase massively. I know there are different ways to implement hyperlinks in a PDF document - I hope that there is a different approach, that I can use to step 2 which avoids this massive expansion.
The goal is to create 600 2 PDF pages from an indesign template using the fusion of data, with each PDF with a file name that reflects reviews and live hyperlinks which vary from one record to the next. Here is my current process (for analysis comparative, the machine is a Mac Pro, Lion, CS6, with RAM 6gbs, and all files are on a disk HARD space, no transfer of data on all networks):
Implement an INDD 2 pages with placeholders for merging data and spreadsheet.
Create merged INDD, import hypertext links and other content as text, then run this script in InDesign that makes hyperlinks using live doc.hyperlinkURLDestinations.add ()
Export a PDF to 1 200 PDF page - file > export if step 2 was made, or the merger of data tool if it wasn't.
Without step 2: the PDF file is about 110mbs and takes a few minutes to create.
Step 2: the PDF file is about 170mbs and takes over an hour and a half to create - I do not know exactly how long I ended up leaving running from one day to the next, but he had already run 1: 20 p.m. when I left and doesn't look close to finishing.
Run this script in Acrobat to chop the PDF into segments of 2 pages with names based on worksheet data.
Without step 2: the process takes about quarter of an hour, slightly faster than a secondcreation of PDF files, and PDF files are 700kbs.
Step 2: the process crashes after about 10 PDF files and takes minutes to produce each one. Even if it did not freeze, it should be about 25 hours to do all of them.
In step 2 and then reducing the PDF to 45mbs through optimizer PDF Acrobat and 'save in reduced format' to cut, backward, compatibility, the process takes about 4 hours, producing a PDF every 20-30 seconds, and PDF files are around 3 MB each. Through to watch the process, almost all of the extra time taken comes from step "backup PDF... "for each of them.
Each PDF 2 pages has 14 or 15 of the hyperlinks. I do not understand how the 14 and 15 of the hyperlinks can translate into an additional 2mbs of "" and something like the processing time of more than 3500% to create each PDF file.
Can someone suggest modifications to the script in step three, which could avoid all this overhead? Here's the complete script for convenience:

Edit - Here is a side-by-side comparison of the "Use of space Audit" tool optimizer based on CSSTidy Acrobat PDF, showing where the hyperlinks add volume. I scored two sharp increases in red...
.. .so there is a massive increase going crazy in the size of the info "Structure", a tiny mbs 0.000238 to 1.76 MB - two and a half times the size of the original file, just on 'info Structure. It's a 740 000% increase...
There is also a strong increase in fat in the cross reference table, 0,0046 mbs to 0.427 mbs - table of cross-references in the PDF with hyperlinks is more than half the size of the original file.
The only differences between two files PDF's, we have 14 clickable hyperlinks attached to existing excerpts of the text (the "hyperlinks" are from a PDF file that comes with living aggressive optimization PDF and images are so much smaller).
			 
So it turns out the source of the problem was the document tags.

Make sure that the PDF file is not created as a PDF by InDesign Tagged, and it behaves. I don't know what is it about hyperlinks and marking that makes it swell massively, but it does.

I'm all new to Dreamweaver and am trying to create my portfolio site. I did a good a few tutorials, but don't have much time so I confess to a few shortcuts (I'll learn the program more responsive to the College the next year).
I am very close to finishing my site, but have a problem that I can't seem to move. The background image of my site must be able to be a hyperlink. With an image I'd use usually the rectangular hotspot tool - however once his game as a "background" the tool no longer works. Is there a way to create hyperlinks ontop of origins?
Just for you give an idea of what I mean, the image above is a quick screenshot of what I want the site to look like. The 'work', 'photo' and 'Hello' sections should be active and a hyperlink to eachother.
Any advice at all would be really appreciated - I'm so close to be finished!

Hello, I've noticed lately that seems to be corporate external ad create hyperlink in the stories I read. This is not the case when I use Internet Explorer.
I checked with the Publisher of a site I visit (psmag.com) and he said that they don't on their end, and they do not see the problem I'm talking about. But, their front page, in four stories there was a word that was a larger font than the rest of the words, and it is a hyperlink to the outside ads. This happened again and again for the past 2 or 3 weeks on different sites. What is going on?

Cannot create a recovery image
 
			 
Hello
I just bought a HP Pavilion x 2, it has a 64 GB SSD.  I want to create a recovery image using the HP utility but when I try, it fails. I think it is because there is not enough space on the Windows partition to create the image.  I have a USB drive connected with 27 GB of free but looks like it will create the image on the C drive, before you copy it to the USB drive. I don't want to remove my recovery partition until I know that I have another copy and I can't find anything else to uninstall to get the 14 GB I need (have 12 GB free). I have only had the tablet a few days so did not have much here, have uninstalled everything I put here except for the updates of Windows that I did. I erased the wimy file temp user profile.
Does anyone have ideas, what I can do?

After that I installed my laptop I want to make a backup image to update my drive. I use True Image to my desktop, but when I use this for my laptop, it won't boot from the recovery cd, i.e. at the start of my cd it shows loading Acronis and rest in this screen forever.
Does anyone know a good way/program to create an image on my laptop?

I use Norton Ghost 2003 to create the backup image file. The application is simple to use and I saved the picture on my second partition. If something goes wrong, I can restore the unity of the image any time.

External DVD USB drives are cheap. Usually $20 for a good quality player. Just buy one of these at Best Buy or another store and use it to install Snow Leopard. Then you also have a drive for something else that you have on the disk.

I have some cRIO systems which were broadcast in our manufacturing plant for some time. A slight problem has been discovered in the programming and created a workaround solution, but a fix should be implemented. Currently, I have no way to test my new code without loading on the cRIO and it works on the tool while the product is running. If there is a problem and I need to do some debugging, the tool cannot be down for an extended period. I would write a vi that will save an image of the cRIO so I can reload the software that is currently running and prevent a situation of prolonged downtime.
My question is, when I did in the past with a product that has different tests, calibration and the final client software RT, it seems that the code FPGA not be saved (not a big deal at the time since the new FPGA code was compatible with different deployments RT). The new FPGA code won't be compatible with the old RT software, so now I'm worried. I would like to just check on it until I have all the boss breathing down my neck. If the service will not save the bitfile FPGA, is there anything else I can do for the tool to return to the previous running state while I solved problems that may exist with the new code review? The original code was lost by my predecessor. Otherwise, I would use just that.

You are right, because the create a System Image does not record the bitfile with the image of the RT. Using the configuration system API, you will need to deploy the RT image and then the bitfile FPGA compiled later. To ensure that you can return to the previous version of the software running on your RIOs, you could simply save the current image and bitfile before deploying the new image and bitfile.
However, the best way to proceed is to use replication Deployment Utility (RAD of OR). I have provided the link to the tutorial on the wheel, where you can download the utility. This exe will make images of the any of your RT targets and will also include the bitfiles with them. You can also deploy these images to several targets at once. In particular, you can read about the Bitfile (s) configure for FPGA Deployment Flash; the bitfile will be deployed at the start when stored in flash memory.

I think that the lable particle simply sets the value of each BLOB in a class to an integer it is IE 1,2,3,4 for 4 groups, (I have LV here right now so it's memory).  You can just itterate through the lable values and use the image to compare or beach threshold function to make masks where you keep the pixels that are equal to this value.  What will a new image with only the PIX = 1 where the value is equal to the value labled, it will have the same size and shape as the original image of lable.

I've been reading comments & comments about free Macrium Reflect and Paragon Software. It seems that neither one is head & shoulders above the other, and the people have problems with both. It goes the same for Norton Ghost and Acronis True Image. People seem to complain at once may not be reliable.
Is there any reason not to use Windows 7's built in software?
			 
Hello BNSFMike, as you suggest, most of these applications to disk image works much the same and is really just a personal preference of the user. I have used several of them over the years and settled on Acronis, since I have never had a problem with Acronis, while I experienced a few problems with other images backup applications at one time or another.
I've never used Windows backup, given that I have heard horror stories of backup locations not where the user wanted that they be saved. The D: Partition Recovery comes to mind.
I do create a new disk image at least once a week and perform a restore disk image every so often.
I have also copy and paste the new disk to an external hard drive image, but also another computer on the network, just for redundant backups. I saw a need for these in the past.
Because everyone has different needs, a backup approach is purely a personal preference, but the main thing to remember, is to always keep a current backup. Disk image approach I use works for me, even though it may not work for others.
