OK, I re-read your question. It's actually expected behavior. The user must manually send the email.

If you want it to be a silent process, then you must either install a script on the local computer of the user who will do this, or use any email but something as a service web to which you directly submit the form data.

Depends on how you file the form. In Acrobat, it has a property to set the appearance of the button. In AA 8, field properties appear as below:

It may vary in other versions (I on other machines), but the basic idea is the same. Need to add the label.

  • Tip action to show only a previous button on a slide so the learner clicked on the button Submit on Drag and Drop

I am a user of long date Captivate and have dabbled with advanced Actions and Variables, so know just enough to get me in trouble. Hoping someone can help me with what I hope is a simple tip action:

I am currently using CP8 and created a training where learners click on a map of building to go to different "rooms" to complete an interaction drag-and - déposer a certain topic related HR. The problem is that some of my learners test forget what 'rooms' they have already read and will click on those they have already visited. I added a back button, so that they can return to the map if they made a mistake, but now they are able to leave the slide without completing the interaction drag and drop.

Basically, I need to hide the back button unless the learner has already completed (for example, the user clicks on the button submit to) the Drag and Drop interaction, but I'm not sure how to set up. Can anyone help?

    Thank you!

Hide the button back to begin with. A tip action can be triggered by an event the success and failure of the & slipped. I guess that you will need at least two commands:

    • View the "back" button
    • Go to the next slide.

It seems the simplest solution. You can also ignore the slide D & D when they enter a second time, but then you will need a Boolean variable to be turned on/off by these same events and a conditional action on which checks this variable and immediately jumps to the next slide when it is set to 1.

  • How to get the value of row current table when press the button submit

    Hello

I want to get the current value of the SuccessionPlanId line which is part of the column in a table that is advanced.

I created a (created using customization, from action through CO) button in the table as column, so each line with a single key, if I press the button of the first line means so I want to extract the first line SuccessionPlanId and if it's the 3rd way so I want to get the value of the value of the third row.

How in the post of controller?

    Please answer soon, its urgency.

    Thanks in advance,
    SAN

OK, need to go with a delicate way,

1.) create a new table with Jdeveloper and there shud be a replica of the room once except the button submit newly added, pls note button type shud be present the type of button.

2.) hide the existing table area and create a new stacklayoutbean.

(3.) this stacklayout bean will have the property to extend, you give the full path of the new custom of advanced table box.

Now you should be able to get the reference of the line during the click on the "submit" button

  • Flatten or lock a pdf form to be completed when the user presses the button "submit"

Hello.  I have searched all over the net trying to figure this out.  I have a form that I created in LiveCycle and as I inserted a "REGULAR" button, with the following script:

Create a variable to hold the document object

    var

    oDoc = event.target;

    oDoc.mailDoc({)

    bUI

    : true,

    cTo

    : "[email protected] " ",

    bassujetti

    : "New procedure - operator ' + TextField1.rawValue + "-ID" + TextField2.rawValue

    CSMG

    : "Attached is the form of the new procedure for the operator" + TextField1.rawValue + "-ID" + TextField2.rawValue + "." ,

    });

This script is sending an e-mail to "[email protected]" and fill in the subject line and the body of the message with text and some elements of the fields in the PDF file.

I want to have the locked PDF or flattened when the user clicks on the button submit, to ensure that the information in the PDF file is not modified once they submit.  I can't find any way to do this easily.  I found a script that will flatten the message (below), but I don't know how to add it to the email script that I pointed out above.  I don't want to add a second button to the form that I want to keep it as simple as possible for the user.

Any suggestions that anyone might have would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

  • Audio attached to the button "submit" plays at the beginning of the slide

I created a text box with a "submit" button. When someone types in their response and clicks submit, text comments will appear and an audio excerpt explains the answer. I have attached the audio, the button submit, but when I go through the project that it plays as soon as the slide appears, not after the answer to the question. He does not appear in the timeline panel, but played when I go to the Audio tab of the submit button. As an aside, the audio on the success and failure of the feedback will be the same. Does make a difference? Should I attach audio to the legends of f/b?

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

PS - the Captiv8er - you were so help kind it has everyone (me)! THX!

Well, how about that? I am answering my own question...!

With more tests, I found that if I join the audio for the legends of success or failure, she plays after the answer to the question. The audio was playing when the slide appeared first of all because I loose to the Submit button, which is visible from the beginning of the slide.

Thank you, me! (Maybe I'm starting to find it?...)

  • Is it possible to set actions on the button "submit" a Quiz question?

Is it possible to set actions on the button "submit" a Quiz question? I want to advance to the next slide or continue when they get the question right, or come at the end of the tent, they are allowed. I would like to eliminate the Next continue/button. Why does take two actions to come out of the slide? I use 8 Captivate.

Not possible, or you you screw up the functionality of the quiz slide. Submit button is the most important object of each slide of the default questionnaire.

I suspect that you are not on 9 Captivate but on an earlier version? Perhaps reading this article:

Question Question slides in Captivate - Captivate blog

You don't need the next to all button if you do not allow the review. If you allow the review, you cannot uncheck, because otherwise the user will be pasted on slides during the review. You can drag the next button under the light of the button (see article). The Send button will trigger actions Success/Last attempt, that you can use to your advantage.

If you want to limit the submission of a single click process, you will find a scenario in the same article

  • With the button submit values going to the Web page

I have a form with 4 settings I want to go to a pop chart.

I want to program a button that will present to the user selected values while they met in session state and then be available to pass these variables to the popchart.

    I created a button called run the report and set it to redirect to URLjavascript:doSubmit('SUBMIT'); popupURL ('http://tacweb-dev.co.ihc.com/ROMS/rpt_volumes.jsp?deptNum= & P12_APP_DEPT_ID & startDate = & P12_START_DATE. & endDate = & P12_END_DATE. & ther = & P12_THERAPIST_PRVDR_ID.');

However, this does not work as the values entered into the fields do not have and they are in the form of values in session state.
The function of the URL works.
All I have to do is find a way to set the values entered by users in the session state.

    Hello

You must call the function I posted something like this

    SetAppItem('P12_APP_DEPT_ID',$v('P12_APP_DEPT_ID'));

That the value point P12_APP_DEPT_ID one that exists in the current html document

But you need set the session state for your objects to use the poppies?
It could work like this in the url target button

    javascript:popupURL('http://tacweb-dev.co.ihc.com/ROMS/rpt_volumes.jsp?deptNum='+$v('P12_APP_DEPT_ID')+'&startDate='+$v('P12_START_DATE')+'&endDate='+$v('P12_END_DATE')+'&ther='+$v('P12_THERAPIST_PRVDR_ID'));

  • How to change the image of the button submit on forms of customer?

Hi, I'm new here, in fact, we have not yet finished Eloqua implementation in society.

I wanted to know how I can change the normal submit button in forms with a photo. Currently I tried to change the HTML form and replacing:

    of this

    < input id = "field3" value = "Submit" type = 'submit' style = "do-size: 100%;" Width: 100px; "height: 24 PX" / >

    for this

    " < input id ="field3"value ="Submit"type ="image"src =" http://shop.bodytrim.com.au/EDM/images/getyour.PNG " />

Who should work on any normal Web site and working on Dreamweaver. But I don't see any change on the preview of the landing pages.

Does anyone know what I might be missing here?

    Thank you

    Felipe

    Hi Felipe!

Do you mean in the standard forms Eloqua Designer? When you create a form of E10 base you can change the Submit button by selecting the submit element in the Forms Designer, and then select the "Field settings" tab in the right column and select 'Choose the custom image' and download a new.

  • Quiz: next vs the button "submit"

    Hello

I created a number of modules in captivate (ver. 8) using default quiz slides.  A lot of people is the 'next' button without hitting the submit"" button.  This "work" until they get to the last page, and then the module freezes.  Is there a way to hide the 'next' button until the click on "submit"?  In my view, there must be, but when I preview pages of quizzes in the past, I seem to break things.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

    Thank you

    Carl

I know it is confusing and have been blogging about the design and the ability to tweak. Look at the Question Question slides in Captivate - Captivate blog

If you need review, you let the next button, because you will need during the review. During the Quiz, it serves as a "Skip" button, and that's the problem.

The simplest solution is to drag the next under the Clear button button. During the review the Clear button disappears and the next button becomes visible. ATTENTION: perhaps in my blog I always refer to the jump key, because it was the label of the button following in older versions.

You don't have all the "next" button during quiz, the Send button is the trigger of the submission process in two stages, where the second step is to click on the slide or press on Y.

  • With the button submit as

I don't know this is a basic question, but:

I'm working on an Apex application created by the previous programmer. There is a button named, 'Search', which is 'submit as "P24_BSEARCH". When I change the Page button on the page, there is no measure of database and no target. There is no relevant processes on the page. It has only two branches, and they both simply target to the same page after the treatment.

However, the button seems to work (although there is a question about whether the results are accurate, this is why I need to see what it does.)

Where should I look to see what is actually done the button?

    Hello

The button will present just the page and a branch will redirect to the same page. There will be one or more fields on the page, because the page has been sent, will be updated in the session to save their values. If you look at the SQL code for the report, which I suppose is on the page as well, it must use these search fields in the WHERE clause to filter the results.

  • Make the button submit, and then redirect to another page

    Hello!
I have a button of the region, when you press on "should" launch the Multi_row_update, then redirect to another page. I can't make it work well.

I have the button BUTTON_1, I have the "after-submit' process that performs the MRU after this button is pressed.» I then created the conditional branch that is supposed to redirect. But it does not work. The page is not redirected. I tried to change the button to a redirect button, but then sending does not. How can I do both?

    Thank you!
    Jodie

What is the sequence number of the one who is unconditional?
I think that your unconditional branch on the same page may be taking over your conditional branch on page 55.
