  It looks like a problem with the image itself and not with the data merge. All data fusion makes links to the jpeg format. Check your image to see if there is an asset of clipping, or some other problem with the image file.

During the conversion to Word, it's always a challenge between those who want the exact layout at the cost of editing and who want editable at the cost of page layout.   I often work between Illustrator and Photoshop, copy lineart in PS and since I recently updated two programs, somehow I changed a setting or something has changed in the software itself.

  The steps that I "used" to take...

  1 Select lineart illustrator and copy
  2 create a new record in PS - change the resolution from 72 to 300

  3. close the new document (because the width and height would be in 72 dpi)

  4. create the document again - this time she would have saved my setting of 300 DPI and automatically adjust the pixels accordingly

  Unfortunately step 4 doesn't seem to work for me. He just stay at 72 dpi.

  Is there a setting that has changed, or is there another way to "easily" copy lineart in a new PS document at 300 DPI and the right size?

  I just wanted to report that I found a solution in case anyone else think the wrong way as if I was.

  If you change the dropdown to "pixels" in inches or centimeters, for example, and then change the resolution to 300, it will resize the jury to "Printable" size at 300 dpi.

  I guess that the logical progression of the creation of what a long document with sections muliple (component maintenance manual) is to create a book and then documents (a document for each section) in the book.  It seems to work when I create a new project to document and I'm looking for some feedback validating my hypothesis.

  Another question about the creation of a book / document.  When I select the model to create the book / document, it automatically creates a name for documents in the book.  The model I use is a bought to create the component by iSpec2200 maintenance manuals.  I guess I can copy the model, create a new template by pasting the copied template and change the new model to use a new naming convention I want.

  You can create the document files and the file book in any order you want. In general, would create at least one document file before you create the book file. There is no need to create an empty file first book. You can even do it after creating all document files. The order is not important.

  Models are not objects that we copy and glue. They are imported into new or existing documents. Therefore, if you want to change a model, just to save the original model with a new name and then change the new template file. Some changes you can do right in the file, such as styles, reference pages and master pages.
