Creating the document Index
Hi all
I had to add the words indexed in the Active Document Automation. but im stuggle to extract the index term list as a RTF file. In manually we have the options to generate indexes after loading the placegun create text frames and place the contents in the textframe.
In scripts where this option is available, or is not possible?
Using InDesign CS5.5 / Windows / Javascript

So I'm not sure that the Oracle Webcenter Content Management Service STILL provides "correct" implementation of the OASIS CMIS specification, because I found nothing in therehttp://docs.oasis-open.org/cmis/CMIS/v1.0/cmis-spec-v1.0.html on the Slug query parameter and it is not clear to me how the Oracle Webcenter Content Management REST Service works with Content-type application/atom + xml; type = entry (I mean according to CMIS specification().
It will be very useful for me to get another point of view. Maybe someone could correct me if I'm wrong.

Create the document recycling 90% of an existing .indd?
I have a 30 pg .indd document. I need to create 1 or more new documents based off the original, but with occasional paragraphs that are different. About 90 percent of the document will remain the same. Is it possible to use the text or merge data or a combination of tools to maintain 90% in all of these three documents and retain different occasional paragraphs?
In my mind, I'd love to use a text which relates the filename variable User.ID so that if I open the file 'Brass.indd' then all paragraphs that are different for brass model are open and if I open the file 'Copper.indd', then, all paragraphs show the copper version.

If you have InDesign CS6 or CC, you can either use the Edit > location and relationship of command, or you can use the content and content of Placer Collector tools. Both are described in InDesign help. Which could link the content (if you select the link option).

When I ask mdsys.sdo_cs I see that there are actually SRID 8307. This index was created in this schema without problem. The problem only arises once the hardened customer database and we tried to recreate the schema (and index).

MDSYS user now has not run, and select privileges on the dbms_lob package.
You must grant privileges on this package in MDSYS.
Note that you can run into other issues of privilege package like this, so you must correct all by the granting of the

Cannot create the Documents folder. No error, it just does not respond.
How is it that I can't create a folder in my documents once I installed skydrive? Does that mean if I click "record" to make a new folder in my documents he won't answer more after that I have to install/activate sky player.

You have discovered a problem with Windows 7. To resolve this problem, I recommend a program called FileMenu Tools. You can download the portable freeware from here: http://www.softpedia.com/get/PORTABLE-SOFTWARE/System/System-Enhancements/FileMenu-Tools-Portable.shtml .
After having downloaded and installed the program, you will notice that, by default, each option is checked. I would be much more selective on this subject, otherwise your context menu will be a full page long! When the main window opens, you will see a list on the right side of all the elements that can be added to the context menu. Start weeding through the list and every one to take away, you don't need the United Nationsby checking the box.
Once you have completed your selection (de-selections) make sure that you click the green check mark in the row of icons at the top of the left window of the interface to 'Apply' of your choice. The program can do much more, but that answers your specific question. I am told that the program has a good help file, so try here if you are interested.

Create the Document merged, corrupted Images
I use excel and indesign to create a catalog with the ability to create a merged from a source document. I would create a merged document, but some images would not completely display, for example, the edges of the products show.
I tried to convert PNG images, but it is still the same. Is attached a screenshot of what I'm talkng about. Any thoughts?
It looks like a problem with the image itself and not with the data merge. All data fusion makes links to the jpeg format. Check your image to see if there is an asset of clipping, or some other problem with the image file.

The default minimum page size (height/width) is 3 / 72 "(~ 0,04") for the version PDF 1.4 and higher. " Acrobat and Distiller can create PDF pages that are as small as the minimum dimensions.

I tried some of the solutions that offered you, but I think what was my problem was caused by the presence of the index on an external hard drive and when the computer has been restarted the drive letter of the USB drive was not the same. If I remember well, it was a problem that I wasn't yet able to rebuild the index.
I now have the index on my hard C at the level of the root drive. I was about to point to the other half of a 16 GB flash drive which is also USB, but Windows Vista Home Premium does not only because it appears that are considered removable flash drives, but external USB drives are not presented in this category.
Currently I have about 74 000 items indexed.

Create the document word without adobe page breaks
I can easily create a PDF from PowerPoint. However, when I export the PDF file in Microsoft word, each PowerPoint slide goes into an individual page. How to remove these page breaks? I want several slides on one page. I want to take my PowerPoint and put it in hierarchical form in word. I use a Mac and when I put the PowerPoint in its linear form on Word with Adobe I lose all the formatting, I want to format through Adobe, but want several combined pages?
It is unlikely that any particular control. During the conversion to Word, it's always a challenge between those who want the exact layout at the cost of editing and who want editable at the cost of page layout. I'm surprised Acrobat does not have controls for it, but it doesn't. You probably need to remove breaks in Word.

I often work between Illustrator and Photoshop, copy lineart in PS and since I recently updated two programs, somehow I changed a setting or something has changed in the software itself.
The steps that I "used" to take...
1 Select lineart illustrator and copy
2 create a new record in PS - change the resolution from 72 to 3003. close the new document (because the width and height would be in 72 dpi)
4. create the document again - this time she would have saved my setting of 300 DPI and automatically adjust the pixels accordingly
Unfortunately step 4 doesn't seem to work for me. He just stay at 72 dpi.
Is there a setting that has changed, or is there another way to "easily" copy lineart in a new PS document at 300 DPI and the right size?

I just wanted to report that I found a solution in case anyone else think the wrong way as if I was.
If you change the dropdown to "pixels" in inches or centimeters, for example, and then change the resolution to 300, it will resize the jury to "Printable" size at 300 dpi.

Privileges to demand for a user to create a CONTEXT index

What are the necessary privileges that must be granted to a user to be able to create a CONTEXT index, for example. I gave the CTXAPP my user, but when I tryied to create the CONTEXT Index with the command below, I got an error message "insufficient privilege.

It depends on whether the user tries to create the index on its own table in its own schema or on someone else table in the schema of someone else. The following table shows the minimal privileges (quota could be smaller) for the user usr_docs create the index on its own table in its own schema and password create the index on the usr_docs table in the usr_docs schema.

Need help to highlight the query text in the document
Hi, I'm trying to load files into the blob column and try to create the text index.
I need to query the blob column in the original glass by a string, which should return the relevant documents with the query string, highlighted with some color.
