Create the system of production test env

Hello

Please sorry,

I am new to this area of the Oracle 11.5.10 Applications and I need help with a couple of questions.

We have the production system with some Applications Oracle 11.5.10, level APPS on server 32-bit Red Hat Linux 4 EA and 10.2.0.3 DB Server 64-bit Red Hat Linux 4 EA level.

We get 2 new servers to test environment Applications Oracle 11.5.10 with the same versions of the operating system as the production.

First test 32-bit applications.

Second test 64 bit for DB level.

Now we create the test environment, even as production.

Questions >

(1) what is the best way to create env even in this situation (application layer 32-bit, 64-bit database layer). I suppose that cloning using the quick clone procedure is not possible on this clear machines.

(2) if I need to install software Applications Oracle 11.5.10 first on both machines, is it possible to use 32-bit rapidwiz Installer (which exist in the scene) to create test db level on this 64-bit node, or not.

I read in the paper to Oracle 11.5.10 Applications - Notes of Update Installation for Linux x 86

You can install the Oracle Applications on a server of architecture x 86-64 if the 32-bit Windows or Linux operating system. If your 64-bit operating system, contact your operating system vendor to obtain a 32-bit operating system before you install the Oracle Applications.

(3) how now what stage production is created. When I try to create the stage for my test environment using perl perl /mnt/cdrom/Disk1/rapidwiz/adautostg.pl command

I get these options:

1 - choose the Oracle Applications

2 - choose the Oracle Applications with NLS

3. choose the Oracle database (RDBMS) technology environment

4 choose Oracle Database Applications (databases)

5 - choose the technological environment Oracle Applications (Tools)

6 choose APPL_TOP

7 - choose language Support NLS (National Language)

Because I've not seen directory oraNLS is this 1 good choose for the scene.

Thank you and sorry because I'm new in this field.

Hello

Please tell me what are the documents to follow to do this action correctly.

For quick Clone, see doc 11i rapid Clone that is referenced in (fundraising Documentation quick Clone, version 11i and 12 [799735.1 ID])--> cloning Oracle Applications Release 11i with rapid Clone [230672.1 ID]

What about prerequisites, on both nodes?

You should find all the pre - req software. and packages in these docs.

What method did you follow to create the system repair disc?

I suggest you to create the system with different USB repair disc and check if it helps.

  • Layers of abstraction appropriate to the system of standardized tests

Hello, I am working on Standardtised test system designed for functional testing of manufactured products.

Material, a part of the consinsts system of:

    1. system test unit, which provides the power, charges, generating functions, etc. and a PXI chassis with some devices.

    2. everything is related to a test set-up through a mass at the interface of interconnection.

    3. test contains all the material customized to the DUT.

The goal is to have several units to test systems that could be easily interchangeable and can accept any test set-up. Any test ficture should be plug-and-play capable on any unit test system. In addition, any component of the system must be interchangeable with a component identical to SW without modification and with different components (different provider, different series, different interface etc.) with the least amount of modification to SW. This requires a hardware abstraction layer. What is not clear to me, what is the recommended strategy and how the software layers should be split between TestStand and LabView.

Assuming that the usual layers of the Test Application-> Application specific layer-> specific to the software device - plug-in-> drivers, what should go where and how it should be implemented?

Currently, all layers are implemented in TestStand with ASL and DSSP layers more often intertwined. TestStand sequences directly access LV hardware drivers. Adding new hardware needs to edit these two layers, but exits Test Application intact, but it is clear that this approach is not well dimensionnera.

    Plase advice.

    Thanks in advance!

IVI is a well established and documented standard. You would have to take design decisions less and less code to write. It is easy to use MAX to assign class-specific drivers. You have existing steps on TestStand to IVI. I don't see where it's more complex than from scratch.

If you went with IVI, I would use the types of step TestStand place class functions in LabVIEW. If it was me, and using lvoop, I would create a step customized for each class type.

  • Create the system repair disc

I can't do a Windows 7 system repair disc.  I get the following message:

System repair disc could not be created

The disc has no burn checking and may pass
contain corrupted data or be unusable (0xC0AA0007)

To work around the problem, I could use a system repair made on another computer disc, but I have some questions about it.

Is a system of specific computer system repair disc?  Should be used on the computer that actually?

A system 10 Windows repair disk can be used on a Windows 7 computer?

A Windows 7 system repair disc can be used on a computer of 10 Windows?

    I'm stuck.  Help, please.

    UPDATE:

II found the cause of my problem and now I want to pass the information to all those who encounter this problem on similar computers.

The computer is a RC210G-old Sony Vaio VGC, which is a strange beast, indeed.

The computer originally had Windows XP MCE on it and a BIOS that begins with PR94510J.04T.0096

This computer has a few tricks RAID on the motherboard, and any settings in the BIOS or Windows, empty DVD players are not recognized.  So the solution to my problem is to put a disk used in the drive to DVD - RW and THEN launch the utility to do a system repair disc.  Once the drive appears and I am asked to put a blank disc in the drive, eject the disc used and put in a vacuum before clicking CONTINUE.

If I followed the above procedure, the disc manufacturing process goes as it is supposed to.

    Thank you for your attention.

To get all the features of a repair disc, you must create it on any machine with the same width (32 or 64-bit) bus and under the same version of Windows.

Disks of repair carried out under different versions of Windows can also be used, but they offer reduced functionality. The work of the command but prompt the system restore will not.

  • Failed to create the system cd disk image backup

Original title: difference between auomatic backups & do your own backups?

    Hi you all,.

I'm a bit confused about backups, I just got my new mohterboard HPp6320y/win7/improved / 2.7Gz cpu, 64-bit, 8 G - ram. HP offers to immediately burn a recovery-re-boot disk, which I did. Then they strongly suggest to copy a restore disc fictitious system using an external hardrive or external storage such as cd - rw disks, I don't understand if I can burn a shadow of system using my existing internal drive or some other form of storage like USB drives provided that they have sufficient capacity.
So far, so good, but when I first tried to burn a shadow/system using my existing built in internal disk drive, the only choice in the context menu after clicking "burn the backup of the system" was my internal hardrvie. He did not get a disk, so I dropped back until I could understand if I was doing something wrong and fix it
I know that my automatic HP backup restore points are made on a regular basis with or without me having to ask, once partition it the space reserved for different backups with full capacity, my system removes the oldest to give room for the new, correct?
I also know that the purpose of having a shadow system is if your hard drive goes wrong, you can restore your entire OS & the personal data to a new disk, so store in a partition of your works currently hardrive would make no sense if it goes wrong, correct?
Then why, my system will not burn a shadow on a freshly unpacked well-known R/W disk? (I have 10 of them I bought still packed)
Do I need to use a drive external remote disc?
Also, I have a factory built-in removable Pocket media player provided out of my older HPa610n and it holds 160Gs, I have the appropriate connection and it appears therefore as a storage device when I turn on my new current HP. However, when I click Backup a shadow system, it shows that my cd player internal existing as an option where I'm supposed to store my shadow of system. Yet they claim that I can use a USB device, provided that it can contain enough storage, I am really confused and feel a migraine coming!

    Help!      Please... sincerely, boulonman

  • Transform a user created the system of coordinates to Oracle supplied one

    Hi all

I'm looking to transform an obsolete network National British Ordnance Survey projection, so that the data that contains the obsolete projection can be queried using coordinates gird National British.

I think I need to insert an entry in the table SDO_PREFERRED_OPS_USER and not SDO_PREFERRED_OPS_SYSTEM. However I do not know what value to use for the COORD_OP_ID. Is the COORD_OP_ID value related to the SOURCE_SRID, which is the obsolete projection; the value COORD_OP_ID for the TARGET_SRID or a new value?

I I take then insert another line with the SOURCE and the TARGET of the swapped SRID round so that changes may occur in the sense the other way around.

    Kind regards

    Tim

Generally, you don't need any rules of transformation between two screenings. The system automatically performs the reverse projection, datum transformation and projection forward then. In addition, even if a projected SRID is now considered to be obsolete, this does not change the fact that the system can determine a default transformation approach. For most applications, the default value is right.

Do you need a rule, however, if the default processing line is not what you prefer. For example, if you want to convert between NAD27 and NAD83 using NADCON and not the transformation of default reference, you need an appropriate rule. If this is the case for you, please let me know and I can help you with the rule.

Regarding the choice between SDO_PREFERRED_OPS_USER and SDO_PREFERRED_OPS_SYSTEM: If you use the system, it will become the default for all users of space in your DB. If you must use a string of personal transformation that you don't think that other users of your database would agree with, then SDO_PREFERRED_OPS_USER is appropriate. The user is a tag of your choice VARCHAR2, not a database user. Other users of the database can share your setting, if they use the same tag.

SOURCE_SRID, TARGET_SRID and OP_ID should be consistent. If in doubt, please let me know your specific processing needs, and I can provide you with a rule.

For your specific example, I need more in detail to determine if you need a rule, at all. It seems that you can not. Please let me know source & target SRID, and why you think you need a default transformation.

    Thank you

  • HP Notebook PC 15: create the system for Win10 64-bit recovery

Message from HP Support Assistant: create system recovery

I have 3 recovery disk labled HP I made at the time of purchase.

I upgraded to windows 10 8.1 and also performed a factory reset

3 discs were created when I was using 8.1

My computer is now running win 10

I am to make a game to win 10, or is the game I've done enough?

If only I can make a game, what they ask?

    slickamis

You cannot create a recovery HP for Win10 media because you upgraded your PC Win10 - and the files needed to do that do not come with the MS Win10 Upgrade, instead, they come on the PC preinstalled with HP's Win10.

However, you can make an image backup using a third-party tool known as Macrium reflect (MR).

What I recommend is the following:
    (1) download and install Macrium reflect (MR)
    (2) run M. and choose the option: "Create an image of the partition (s) required to backup and restore Windows" to write a full backup to an external drive or USB key
    (3) use the option to create a CD or a USB startup key

I use all the time and it usually takes less than 10 minutes to make the backup of the image and at the same time or less do a restore.  In addition, MR has the ability to add a recovery Boot Menu entry.  This then allows you to boot into Windows re, and then you can use it to do a restore - when you cannot start Windows!

NOW, you have the means to restore a full system that works for the external hard drive or USB key in a few minutes.

    Good luck

  • Addition of Service Pack 3 for Windows XP Home Edition creates the system failure

We have an older Compaq Presario that came with Windows XP Home Edition. [a Pentium 1 2005]
I try to install Windows Live Onecare (free Qwest).  When I update our Windows XP Home with Service Pack 3, when I reboot I get a black screen that says that there is an error with a recent change of hardware or drivers. So I boot safe mode.
There has been no hardware changes.
I did a destructive restore by using the Compaq recovery disk which is supposed to wipe the drive and reinstall everything.
I can update Windows XP with service pack 3 and everything works.  When I install Windows Live Onecare, at the next restart I get the same black screen and need to start in safe mode.
I can do a destructive restore and load Windows Live Onecare and work without any problem as long as I do not install Service Pack 3.
I tried to make recovery of Windows with the same results.  I can do a restore before any point where I do not have the Windows Live Onecare and the Service Pack 3 and everything works fine.

So I guess that there is a conflict between Windows XP Service Pack 3 and Windows Live Onecare on this computer.  I have both works well on other computers in our home network, but they are Pentium III or higher.

Anyone know if there is a difficulty, or just simply never through my XP Home SR3?
