Creating a connection HTTP using BIS

Hello

I need to retrieve data from my web service using KSoap and BIS as a means of connection. From what I've heard, create HTTP through BIS connections is available for third party applications if the developer is a member of the Alliance of BlackBerry program (which I am currently not a part of). But I also heard that there is a backdoor method of doing that is by registering to the BlackBerry PUSH services.

I was wondering if someone could explain to me how I could use this secret method to create a connection HTTP using BIS.

Thanks in advance.

you add to a bes connection "; deviceside = false', for example.
a BIS connection uses an appendage of connection string similar, is it the seekrit.
You can 'discover' this string seekrit by downloading the sample to bis push (not the simplified I wrote), you can do it without registering.

You can probably find it on google as well, but the forums have a word filter to apply the policy of it being forbidden to know

    Hello Everone,

    Before sorry all, if the subject does not much sense. But was so confused that is happening right there.

    Here is the problem I am facing.

    In the application I developed, I use an HTTP connection. Now my question: is it possible that I can ask my application to use in a particular way to this regard forcefully. I mean, can I choose between BIS or BES to establish this connection?

    In short, I want to choose the type of connection prgramatically. Please guide me to the right way.

    Hi all

    After lotta research and reding, on this question of BIS, the conclusion is that we cannot use BIS to connect to our demand for the Internet, as it is. BIS requires that we go through BlackBerry ISV Alliance program.

    I just wanted to share this information with others, if anyone has the same problem. And please correct me if my conclusion is wrong here.

    Thank you

  • Create an application that uses BIS

    Hello, I'm new to this,

    NYW, my question is simple.

    I made an application that uses the Internet to view pages, to get the XML...

    When I tested it on a device, all seem to operate when the aircraft was on a wifi connection.

    But when the device using BIS or BES, this will not work!

    so can you please give me a sample code to see how I can be able to use BIS or BES.

    Sorry for my English.

  • Error of connectivity HTTP using JDE 5.0.0 and Blackberry MDS

    Hello

    I use BB MDS Simulator 4.1.2 and BB JDE 5.0.0 for test sample Oracle ADF Mobile client apps that I have developed.
    My application tries to access Web services using HTTP.

    Here's where I meet a HTTP connectivity problem.

    1 see, for example, while trying to test HTTP using the Blackberry browser, I got the error: "host unknown mobile.blackberry.com:80.

    2. the sample I tried to run to test Web Services - accepts a user password and gets its translation in a desired language, using a service offered on the internet Web.
    Here, I tried to translate the word "Madame" in English to the French.
    I met a HTTP/1.0 400 Bad Request.

    Please take a look at the Trace of SDM as below (the entries for the "BOLD") and indicate if I'm missing something from the perspective of the configuration.

    PS: I tried different options on the blackberry forums, but they were not very useful.

    Hi Jer9009,

    Welcome to the Microsoft answers site.

    ·         Could you give the exact error code or error number you get?

    To connect multiple computers, install a network adapter in each and run a network CAT5 cabling to connect each one to a hub (and thus the other.) The computer that will serve as a transition will have a standard network card for wired and a wireless network adapter that will connect to the wireless (WAP) access point or gateway on the second network.

    A network bridge is software or hardware that connects two networks or more so that they can communicate. You can create only a single bridge network on a computer, but a bridge can handle any number of network connections.

    What you want to do for authentication if the RADIUS server is down? For telnet and console access you can use the line as a backup method because it is possible to configure a password for the line on the console and vty ports. Which type of backup method you want for HTTP? The one that seems most logical to me would be to a local authentication in order to cover the situation where the server is down.

    To use local authentication, you must do the following:

    -create a definition of the local user (maybe more if you need extended security).

    -specify a special method for authentication of the aaa.

    -specify that http, using the special method.

    The configuration might look like this:

    password user tech1 tech1

    AAA authentication login http_auth group Ganymede + local

    IP http authentication aaa - authentication of the connection http_auth

    Or you can decide to use the secret to activate (or password that is configured in office). The config might look like this:

    AAA authentication login http_auth group Ganymede + activate

    IP http authentication aaa - authentication of the connection http_auth

    If you want a different backup method, let us know what it is and we'll see how it could be implemented.

  • Failed to create the connection to the Oracle Java Cloud Server

    Hi all

    but it's not to create a connection to the cloud server and throwing the error message

    Tests of cloud-Admin... has failed.

    listApplications failed.

    Check the username, password, domain, for example.

    Check the location of the sdk cloud & version: Tools-> Preferences-> Oracle Cloud

    0 out of 1 tests successfully.

    Here are the details MyService

    JDEV: Build JDEVADF_11.1.1.6.0CLOUD_GENERIC_121118.1600.6229

    Cloud-version: 13.2.2.0.0

    I'm sure, that I am using the appropriate powers since am capable of service cloud console java with the same credentials.

    Please help me on this.

    Thank you

    Check the location of the SDK by browsing "Tools-> preferences-> Oracle Cloud-> Cloud Service SDK Java", navigate to the folder and navigate to the directory of sup 'lib '. Check the version with the command:

    java-jar javacloud.jar - version

    Oracle Cloud Java Deployer of Service tool.

    Version: 13.2.7.0

    What is the version that was posted to you? If something else "13.2.7.0" try to download the latest version of the SDK, unzip it somewhere and point your Jdev on the new version.

  • "You are viewing a page... haven't created a connection to"-secure or non-secure.

    We have a client using Contribute, the site has a page that is for sure, but the rest of the site is not secure.  Contribute works fine on all pages that are unsafe, but when he tries to access a secure page he gets this message: "you are viewing a page on a Web site that you have not created a connection to." this will happen if the page is accessible via a hypertext link or the button "choose...". "in the contribute user interface.  That this has something to do with the secure protocol?  Is it possible to get around?

    In my opinion, he's considering https in the URL as a different connection. Can you please try creating connection https:// www.lensc.org/ instead of http:// www.lensc.org/?

  • SQL Server tab missing in create new connection

    Hello
    I'm testing some migration of the Oracle's SQL Server. I went through the tutorial example but I can't find the SQL Server tab when creating the connection.
    I don't see the Oracle and Access tabs.

    Can help me with this problem.

    you will need the JTDS JDBC driver for SQL Server, you can download the driver here:

    http://sourceforge.NET/projects/jTDS/files/

    the JTDS supported for SQL Developer version is not the last but the following:

    http://sourceforge.NET/projects/jTDS/files/jTDS/1.2.2/jTDS-1.2.2-Dist.zip/download

    When you have the downloaded driver, you can add it as a third driver JDBC and then you will be able to conenct.

    If you need to activate a link in your proxy I would suggest that you use the first so you will be able to download the drivers updated if necessary.

  • TopLink - dynamically create session connection?

    Hi all
    How can PLS, I dynamically create the connection to the database?
    I use toplink workbench and in this step 6: [http://www.oracle.com/technology/products/ias/toplink/doc/11110/tutorial/intro/standalone/intro_tutorial010.htm#CIHIHIFF] I do not check "save the Login and password"...
    If I put the password and static user, everthing works fine, bud I need dynamically created connection... my code is:

    + createSession() protected Sub throws Exception {+
    System.setProperty ("toplink.xml.platform", "oracle.toplink.platform.xml.jaxp.JAXPPlatform");
    XMLSessionConfigLoader loader = new XMLSessionConfigLoader (getSessionsXmlPath ());
    Bishop SessionManager = oracle.toplink.tools.sessionmanagement.SessionManager.getManager ();
    session.setLogin (applyLogin ());
    session = (ServerSession) mgr.getSession (loader, getSessionName(), Thread.currentThread () .getContextClassLoader (), true, true);
    +}+

    + private DatabaseLogin applyLogin() {+
    DatabaseLogin connection = new DatabaseLogin();
    login.usePlatform (new oracle.toplink.platform.database.oracle.Oracle8Platform ());
    login.setDriverClassName ("oracle.jdbc.OracleDriver");
    login.setConnectionString ("path"); JDBC:Oracle:thin:@host:port:SID - path is OK (but SECRET) :-)
    login.setUserName ("user"); USER NAME - user is OK, but hawa ;-)
    login.setEncryptedPassword ("pass"); PASSWORD, ENCRYPTED password is OK ;-)
    Returns the user name;
    +}+

    but he always returns java.lang.NullPointerException! If I set password and user of TopLink workbench, if it works...

    Any ideas, how to configure Java connection, pls?

    SRY for my English...

    Thanks in advance!
    BES cordially, KLD

    Your session variable has the value null until you attribute to him, so you can not call a method on it.

    Try,

    session = (ServerSession) mgr.getSession (loader, getSessionName(), Thread.currentThread () .getContextClassLoader (), false, true);
    session.setLogin (applyLogin ()); \
    session. Login());

    Means that the fake is not to identify the session.

  • is it possible to combine ethernet and wifi connections to use both at the same time

    I want to fill the two connections without using third-party software can do this combine is wifi and ethernet, all use both faster speeds for

    Ethernet is the fastest connection to use your modem/router and it will not combine or run them both at the same time.

    To test your speed, try > http://www.speedtest.net/

    or > https://www.speakeasy.net/speedtest/http://www.speedtest.net/

    If you are unhappy with the speed of your ISP, you need to communicate with them or another ISP.
