Creating a file in office 2010/windows 8 zip

I am trying to create a zip file of a large PDF file to the e-mail message. Under libraries, after you select the file, I open the tab share and right click on the ZIP icon but nothing happens? Does anyone else have this problem? Is there another way to create a zip in windows 8?

Why don't you just right click on the file in the library folder and select "send to...". "then"compressed folder "?  That's how it has been done since about Windows XP or more, and how it is done in Windows 7.

    Hello
I had a few problems in the installation of Windows since then so I had to format my PC. My documents are, as always, kept in a second hard drive.
So, I installed Windows 7 new and set the E:\Documents folder as the default documents folder in the library. Then, all the evil began to occur.

First of all, I got several error messages saying: I had no permission to modify the files within the E:\Documentos\, because I was not the owner of these files. OK, so I got the reg take_ownership file to add it to my menu and taken possession of all the Documents folder (about 50 GB of data in many different formats)

But even worse, it is that I was unable to make any changes and then save a particular file even named 'maintenance.xlsx' in Excel 2010, in which I write my backup jobs. She resides in E:\Documents\Lists, one of my folders. When I make the changes, and press Ctrl + S to save, first of all, I am surprised by the time that excel crashes... then it displays four warnings message in a row:

    1. "your changes did not saved in"maintenance.xlsx"because of a sharing violation. Try to save it to another file. »
    2. "Excel cannot access '1FE99C00'. The document may be read only or encrypted. »
3 "" 1FE99C00"are not available. The file may be corrupted, located in a server not responding or not be read-only. »
    4. "your changes cannot be saved in"maintenance.xlsx", but have been recorded in a temporary file named"1FE99C00". Close the existing document, open the temporary document and save it under a new name. »

So, I take the original maintenance.xlsx to a different location, take the "1FE99C00" and rename it to maintenance.xlsx. Ok. When I return to this new maintenance.xlsx and make additional changes, the same phenomenon occurs.

If I try the same thing with a Word .doc file (x), (that I leave on E:\Documentos\Dox), the message I get is "Word cannot check of the file due to a file permission error. (The file path & name). »

My antivirus is Microsoft Security Essentials and I already added .xlsx exceptionally of the file to analyze. Never had to do this before, but it didn't work. I have Spybot 2.0, also, but live with disabled protection.

    What to do? :(

p.s. I found similar questions to research since 2008, but I could not follow the advice. I wonder why it is always a problem now in the run-up to 2014. The files are mine, always been, they were in the same hard drive for always and always work as a secondary partition for my OS. In the meantime, I tried Windows 8, so I could have created a different username during installation, but who cares?
    Thank you!

Looks like I got lucky to find a solution by myself.
It's about the properties of the folder Documents, security, and then deleting all instances of "account unknown" (followed by a string of code). That's all!

  • Why is it not my multitasking computer? Is - this Windows 7, Office 2010, Kaspersky?

    Here is the scenario...

I have Notepad. EXE is open.
I click the icon of MS Word 2010 to open it & the projection of "loading" screen opens.
Until the word is fully loaded and initialized, I don't and then close Notepad.
In fact, it seems that my computer gets little froze up.

I thought that one of the features and benefits of a modern operating system were "multitasking".
I vaguely remember being able to do this under Windows 98SE, 2000, XP, and Office 2003 completely new to Office 95 (don't remember with Win 3.1 and Office 2.0).
However, this has been the normal behavior on this system (Windows 7, Office 2010, SONY VAIO i3 w/2 GB of RAM, Kaspersky Internet Security 2012) since the first day.

    What gives?
    Computers don't multitasking no more?
Is it the fault of Office 2010, Windows 7, Kaspersky Internet Security?

Have you tried to disable Kaspersky? Kaspersky is well known for hanging systems, as well as Norton and McAfee. Part of it has to do with the 'package' of tools
that sucks resources when running in the background.

Microsoft Security Essentials has become very popular. I always use Avast, which is the user-friendly resource.

Another thing that often slows down machines when the TEMP folder is too full.
Run Disk Cleanup Windows occasionally, or for a big cleanup using CCleaner.
Do not use if the registry CCleaner cleaner (or any other registry "cleaners"). Registry cleaners are not really necessary on modern systems.
Alternatively, you can manually delete the files in the TEMP folder. Go to your folder of user name > AppData > Local > TEMP and delete the batch. It will not remove files that are still in use.

  • Error 7 when opening the file auto-LabVIEW 2010

I use Open/create/replace file in LabVIEW 2010 to open a text file.  It works fine until I have compile the code.  Then, I get error 7. I tried the paths that are similar to the following, but no doesn't work.

    c:\\file.txt

    c:\\file.txt

    c:\------\file.txt

    Thank you

You must get the path to the .exe file.  Then remove the name of .vi and the .exe.  Then build the path from there to get your .txt file.  The way you have it, you treat the .exe to a folder rather than a file.  The text is no file not part of the .exe, you cannot create a path that includes the name of the .exe.

Why my executable does not work when you use the constant path of the current VI?

  • I want to save the files in tif format in windows 7, 64-bit operating system and Office 2010.

    Hi team, support

I'm using windows 7, 64-bit and Office 2010 operating system. I want to save web files(e-invoices) in .tif format.

Because the tif format is only way to download web files(e-invoices) in the download system.

Please tell us how can I save the files directly in tif like Window XP format.

He had no problem when I used Windows XP. I could save the files in tif through Microsoft Office Image Writer as a default format.

A tif file is simply an image

Office 2010 does not include Microsoft Office Image Writer, he made the MS featured xps document writer and send to OneNote (according to the version of office)

  • SV 9.3.3 office 2010 cannot open 17.2 MB file created using office 2003 excel

I'm testing smartview 9.3.3 with Office 2010 and unable to open a large excel file created using Office 2003. The file has 39 tabs and all tabs contain formulas for HsGet. Is there some setting I need to change the first to allow this file to open it in excellent 2010? What is a macro setting?

    Thank you

This is probably due to a problem with uncompressed metadata stored in the workbook. In most cases, the issue is found in the first journal in hidden forms. There are a few options to fix this. This file should also be open, but it may take a very long time, in some cases, the file opens fine with SV disabled in other cases, it won't matter.

    Option 1

Open the file (it may take a while)
Save the file under a XLSX file.
    Try to open it again.

    Option 2

Open the file (it may take a while)
Right click on the tab for the first worksheet calculation and "select all sheets.
Right click on the tab for the first worksheet and "move or copy...". »
In the dropdown select '(nouveau classeur)' and check 'create a copy '.
Save the new book in any format.
Try to open the new book

    Option 3
Open the file (it may take a while)
Run the following with the first worksheet selected VBA:

    Void ClearFunctionCache()
    For each oShape in ActiveSheet.Shapes
If LCase (left (oShape.Name, 19)) = "workbkfunctioncache" then
    oShape.Delete
    End If
    Next
    End Sub

Save the new book in any format.
Try to open the new book

In any case, try the refresh operation and save and reopen the file to ensure that the problem does not return.

Make a backup of the original file before making any changes.

  • Recent items folder does not display the files saved in the Office 2010

I have a question where the record of recent items (Start/Recent Items) shows not all files that are created in Office 2010 or converted in this format. All other files (for example, .xls, .doc, .pdf) are displayed, but it's not Office 2010 files.

If I open Excel 2010 or Word 2010 and go to file/Recent then files are all listed here as recent files, but do not show up in the start/Recent Items menu.

I use Vista Home Premium with Office 2010, but also have this problem with my PC which is running Windows 7. However, it is less a question here as I have Word and Excel pinned to the taskbar and you can access these files from there.

It drives me crazy because I have to go through a number of additional steps to open files that are routinely used and wonder if it's a 'function' or a bug.

I posted this question in the forum Office 2010 too and it advises to ask here as well. My reason for posting, it is originally that I am convinced that this is a problem with Office 2010. Files created in Office 2010 and saved in the Excel/Word 2003 (.doc and .xls) format very well, appear as files created under .docxand .xlsx that have been converted to the format Office 2003. It occurs only with files with extensions Office 2010.

I tried to dlete everything in the folder and run the "shell: recent ' command, but the opinion is to do this after DELETING the folder recent elements which is something the system won't let me do - there is no option to delete the record.

    Any help much appreciated.

    Thank you.

Thanks for the clarification, but once again, I think you're wrong understanding of the issue. The point is that it does not appear in the list of recent items... otherwise I him have not posted the question.

I appreciate that we're trying to be helpful, but it is actually more an obstacle if you have not read and understood the issue of opening. Sorry to be blunt, but the fundamental issue has not received by people either in this topic or the forum of the Office.

However, I am pleased to announce that the elements are now show - do not know what he did, but I think it's the no-check/recheck option proposed by Nithyananda J, BUT ONLY AFTER a REBOOT.

However, I also tried various other things on mine so can't be sure which of them solved the problem.

Yes. There is no problem with their two different versions of
Windows. The files contain not what anyone who still marks that
Windows version they were created under.

But there is a potential problem. If the files have been created with a
another version of Office that you have, you may have
Difficulty reading the. For example, Word 2007 and 2010 creates .docx
files by default (unless you tell her save as .doc) and if you

unless you install the compatibility pack to

  • Office 2010 does not display in the list of programs that can be set as the default value in Windows 7

I have Office 2010 Home and Student installed on my Pavilion p6367 c - b, which is under W7 Home Premium.

If I open Word or Excel and then use the open function to open a file, the file opens without any problem.  However, when I try to open a document or a spreadsheet by clicking on it directly (for example, in windows Explorer or a shortcut to this file), I get a message that says: there is no program associated with this file type and "create an association in the default program control panel.

Unfortunately, when I go on this Panel, Office is not shown as one of the programs that I choose and I see nothing to add.  I know I must be missing something but...

I hope someone can help me!

    Thank you.

    Hi, once again, Rick:

I played a bit with change the types of files on a Vista computer, I was working on that. I thought I had to use WinZip to open a file that had no association.

When I went to the list of available programs that is given to me, WinZip was not an option to choose. If it sounds the same problem you are having. You access the list to select an Office application to open a file and it is not among the list of available programs.

I thought it was weird, so I played a little bit more. If you go on the left side of the box, you should have options to look for other places, so I went to computer > CProgam files and then I scrolled down and found in WinZip. Then, I open the WinZip program menu and select the executable file to open the file.  It worked (well, he gave me WinZip as default program to open the file, but the file does not open. It must have been corrupted or something).

Then, give that a try. I am now back on the XP computer and do not have access to the specifics. But the procedure for file association for Vista is the same as W7. I write from memory of what I did last night.
