I am wanting to access BIOS so I can restart the computer with windows 7, since I had nothing else problems with windows 8.1. It messed up my registry and now I can't use one of the windows in all applications, just the office part. (Computer worked fine with windows 8 before that I "upgraded", if you can call it.) Try the following.
Shut down the laptop by holding down the key SHIFT left click Shutdown to temporarily prevent a hybrid boot.
Now on TAP the ESC key as soon as you press the power button to see if it will launch the Start Menu. If this is the case, select f10 to open the bios menu.

- Open activity monitor (utilities > activity monitor) close all processes of Adobe
(e.g. cc, Core sync, the broker CC library, Office, Adobe, Adobe CPI, demon Adobe Crash etc.)
- Restart the computer, launch adobe creative cloud for the application folder.
