  Help!  When you create PDF documents in 7 the window, no problem creation, open, move, copy, etc.  HOWEVER, when I use the search function of Windows 7 (start, enter the name in "search programs and files"), these PDF files are INVISIBLE to the search engine.  We never find them!  In addition, the icon of the thumbnail of the file that I created is the standard PDF icon BUT with a blue square in the lower left corner w / arrows 2 "superior to" (as opposed to a green box with a check mark).  Please HELP I use this function to search constantly and create PDF documents regularly!  Thank you!

  When I contacted Adobe support on this issue, I was told that the 64-bit filter had not been tested on Win7, so I went to the foxit iFilter.  Even this has not worked for me.  Then I discovered it was my antivirus software which is in conflict with Win7 ability to correctly generate indexes.

  If you use Adobe Reader, you will not be able to create a PDF file. Adobe Reader cannot create a PDF file, modify/edit the content of a PDF page or export the contents of a PDF page.

  For those, you must use Acrobat or one of Adobe's online subscription services.

  I have three links on a page that loading the files pdf however by clicking on the fisrt link is OK, but if you click on the 2nd it jumps to the next page in the course.  I want him to stay until someone clicks on the next button only.

  You must change the click box or the button that opens the PDF file. There is an arrow down to the right of the field. You click it to choose New to coax the PDF to open it in a new window. Looks like you have already done. You must click again and uncheck the option "continue to play the project.

  We have many forms in our records. From these forms, we generate a list of documents that fully represents what is in the file. To create a list of accurate documentation of a specific file, I have to manually go page-by-page, extract specific information (they are in the same place) and the list of documents manually. I want to automate this process.

  The function of OCR in Acrobat does not 'zone' OCR.

  You can use eSign service, where you can send the document for signatures of several signatories, but the document will be sent to the following signatory after the earlier signed & it is not possible for him to make the changes.

  I use Adobe Acrobat 8.1 and try to create a link in a PDF document so that with READER 7.0 or higher, when a recipient clicks on an image (object) it will gain access to Outlook and opens a new e-mail that the recipient can fill and then send!   I understand you want to get your Notes to create a checklist. What this looks like is that your version of Notes is not up-to-date.   If possible, leave the battery connected. If you remove the battery and power is interrupted for any reason any you could experience data loss or file corruption. It is better to have the battery to seize, if there is a loss of power. If you are worried about damaging your battery by leaving it plugged in all night, just run the battery a bit more and charge up again the next day.

  In the Adobe PDF in Outlook tab, you will find a button "change conversion settings.

  Click on that and you will see a "Download external content block" option in the "Settings" tab, uncheck the box which and see if it helps.

  What is your version of reader?  Try to update to 11.0.4.  If this does not help, try...

  • Using Windows Explorer navigate to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Adobe\Reader 11.0\Reader, and then double-click Eula.exe and accept the license agreement
  • You can open Adobe Reader by itself?  If so, try to disable the Protected Mode [Edit |] Preferences | (Improved) security].
  • If Reader opens in itself, try to disable the Safe_mode in the registry; Download, unzip, then run the attached registry script
