  I'm new to OBIEE. My requirement is I have to apply different filters each column in a report. But if I apply no matter what filter it is the application of all the columns.
  
  For example, the column of my report is something like
  
  StudentsPassed | StudentsFailed | StudentsTrasnfered
  
  So I need pick up on a column in the State and need not to show that a particular result based on the status column. But if I select for status = StudentsPassed then all three columns im getting only students passed.
  
  
  So what I have is that I have created individual views for each column. IE View1 held that the list of students managed view2 held only the list of students failed. But now I need to generate multiple reports of the same type. So, I don't think it's a better idea to create views for each column in a database level report.
  
  
  Is there a method to do this?
  
  Is there a method to store only students Passsed list in a logical column in the level of the Administration?
  
  Please provide help.

  1. This is what you're doing wrong:

  New column object/logic/general tab/use existing logical column as a source.

  and you choose the column RULE and writing COUNT (DISTINCT RULE)

  and after registration/check, you will receive ERROR:

  [38083] of the attribute "MEASURE1" defines a measure by using an obsolete method.

  You do not MEASURE1 set on the way that you did.

  2. you define MEASURE1 on this way:

  Type of new object/logic tab/data tab General/column

  Now in the tab type of data go to a logical source/edit/measure1 table and select the RULE table to part PHYSICAL TABLE column.

  After that in your logical column MEASURE1 aggregation type choose COUNT DISTINCT.

  That's all.

  This will give you COUNT (DISTINCT RULE).

  3. put the MEASURE1 in record presentation/table with CAT, RULE, and STATUS columns

  4. test answers

  FILTER (CAT_RULE_STATUS. MEASURE1 TO AID (CAT_RULE_STATUS. STATUS = 1))

  FILTER (CAT_RULE_STATUS. MEASURE1 TO AID (CAT_RULE_STATUS. STATUS = 2))

  FILTER (CAT_RULE_STATUS. MEASURE1 TO AID (CAT_RULE_STATUS. STATUS = 3))

  Result:
  2 2 1

  It's okay, you see how many separate RULES are inside each State (see our example with data).

  I'm having issues, get the folio to download on the Adobe Content Viewer for iPad app... whenever I get this message "folio download error. Please try again later. »

  Orientation: Horizontal

  PDF format

  Adobe InDesign CS6 with the latest tools and folio Builder

  The folio consists of a single article with a page that contains two video files (two vignettes that play in full screen when it is turned on)

  I have an iPad 2 and iPad 3rd generation I have Adobe Content viewer on iOS 6 (latest version)

  I tried to remove the application viewer content and re - download a new version, I tried to completely rebuild the folio from scratch, I also created a new username Adobe with an expense account to try the folio with... and each time it downloads fine without error... but refuses to download on the iPad.

  Can someone tell me what I am doing wrong or what I should try?

  Doesn't sound that you do something wrong at all. It could be due to performance issues on our servers that create problems to download large files. Here are a few things you can try:

  • If the folio is not already published, republish it as private. Downloads of published folios are often faster.
  • Try to create two sections each containing a video. Download plus two small files is generally better than downloading a large file.

  If it still does not respond, you can share the folio with [email protected] and I'll be happy to take a look.

  If you are a developer of FMw 11 g installation, you need not configure the portal or the discoverer, unless of course you plan to use these products.

  When I installed and configured the FMw 11 g, I followed the * how to install Fusion Middleware 11 g forms and reports only [854117.1 ID] * (available via My Oracle Support). WLS and FMw share the Directory Home of Middleware. I accepted directories default installation (\Oracle\Middleware\) and WLS installed in \Oracle\Middleware\wlserver_10.3 and FMw installed at \Oracle\Middleware\Oracle_PFRD, and the Instance of forms at \Oracle\Middleware\instances\ft_inst. More Doc ID 854117.1, I chose only the following for installation in step "configure the components:

  It is not necessary. All you have to do is add the Variable environment of FORMS_PATH (EV) and include the directory where your files .fmb and .fmx will be created. This EV indicates forms where to find your forms Modules and libraries of forms (.pll/.plx) you can use in your forms.
