Creation/move user to another player data files.
I install Vista on a new hard drive to 500 GB. I am partitioning the drive into two and want to keep records of data of the user on the D: half. Suggest you creating accounts and then moving them or the definition of the default location on the D: drive? What are your suggested steps? Thank you, in advance. -Hank

Creation of user groups to access the files on cloud
I am looking to buy Adobe Document cloud and got answers to some questions already. Once I have create a file and transferred to the cloud, I want to create users so that they can log the cloud with their username and password so that they connect once to the cloud announcement see the documents, can I have a receipt that will tell me who accessed the file , what day and time. I can do within the program, or I do connect to the cloud as an administrator and create new users to the breast from there?
Hey, Rohan,.
Yes, you are right, but with the function Send & track you will only be able to see the number of number of downloads (how can time this file has been downloaded) not the number of views.

Hi all
In my database I have users tablespace and its data file is users01.dbf. File size is 24.5 GB, but the data used are of 1.2 GB. I got this information from OEM, see image below:
https://picasaweb.Google.com/100555146235257804098/Oracle_a1#5759303022195932370
How I can free unused space of 23GB?
Just to let you know to my knowledge, I am a developer of report OBI.
Thank you!>
I executed the script sql on your link http://www.oracle-ckpt.com/how-to-shrink-datafiles-adjusting-hwm/It gives only 7 GB. If I can save only 7 GB so it will not help me. This is the maximum possible savings, you can do.
Do you mean if I load 20 GB of data now in the post above, the database uses the current data file to increase the size of the file? Or it adds to the size of the file, that is to say 25 + 20 = 45 GB?
It seems CanGrow is enabled for the USERS tablespace: CANGROW - YES
If it uses the size of the file, then I can deal with the current structure. If we add to the file so I can't move forward.
Your data file already occupied 23 GB, if you load another 20 GB of data. Of course, it can take another 20 GB, if all 23 GB already existing aid. Have you talked about the link that is mentioned by Sir Jonathan Lewis?

May not be able to Shrink tables (data files)
Hi all
Oracle 10.2.0.3.0 on HP - UX
I've restored the cold backup of size 1.5 to. All tables are present in a single schema.
SQL > SELECT SUM (bytes) / 1024/1024/1024 "GB" FROM WHERE user_segments;
GB
----------
1496.96539
Application user is past the tables of all the useless lines.
SQL > SELECT SUM (bytes) / 1024/1024/1024 "GB" FROM WHERE user_segments;
GB
--------
677.87667
After letting down the paintings, I try to reduce the tables to reduce the HWM. For this, I have the query on all of the tables below.
change the movement line of table_name enable;
ALTER table table_name retractable space compact;
I check with a script available in metalink to analyze the data files how can I reduce the size of the file of data manually
After running script. I found there is that no boom of the data file cannot be done. When I try to reduce the data file using
SQL > alter data < datafile > size < size >;
It throws error as
ORA-03297: file contains data beyond the requested value of RESIZING
When I check my size of the database, this is the same I checked with the tables, that is to say 1.5 to.
Could you please suggest what would be the problem?
Thank you

But I have no space left to create the tablespace or move the tables. Export of more than 1.5 TB of data is not allowed for me to move forward.
So it will be difficult, but it is not impossible.
First published as previously you must use option SHRINK SPACE, as you could see in the link below
in order to free up space in your Tablespace:http://www.Oracle.com/technology/oramag/Oracle/05-may/o35tuning.html
With the request that I posted, you can locate the last block in your data file.
You can follow the Segment that has this block by changing the query as follows (assuming that your block size is * 8192 * bytes, else you will need to change)
This value in the query):select a.tablespace_name, a.file_name, b.owner, b.segment_name, ceil( (nvl(hwm,1)*8192)/1024/1024 ) "Mo" from dba_data_files a, ( select file_id, max(block_id+blocks-1) hwm from dba_extents group by file_id ) b where a.file_id = b.file_id(+) order by tablespace_name;
Then, MOVE you (or RECONSTRUCTION if there is an Index) the segment corresponding in a different Tablespace.
And revert to the original.Check again where is your last block with the above query.
And Segment-by-Segment basis, you can move the HWM of the data file and reduce its size without
use too much space.But you need time, so be patient. Time or space, you can choose :-).
Hope this helps;

Hi all

Please help me solve this problem.
Thank you
KrishIt seems that if you want to return your tablespace return, you must first restore the file and retrieve it. If this isn't the case, you can use tracking to clean your system catalog:
Drop tablespace USERS, including content and data files;
otherwise, work, use:
ALTER database datafile '+ DATA, orcl, datafile, mobiles2' drop offline;
Drop tablespace USERS, including content and data files;Hüsnü Sensoy

8.3.4 Renaming a Datafile in the Primary Database When you rename one or more datafiles in the primary database, the change is not propagated to the standby database. Therefore, if you want to rename the same datafiles on the standby database, you must manually make the equivalent modifications on the standby database because the modifications are not performed automatically, even if the STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT initialization parameter is set to AUTO. The following steps describe how to rename a datafile in the primary database and manually propagate the changes to the standby database. 1. To rename the datafile in the primary database, take the tablespace offline: SQL> ALTER TABLESPACE tbs_4 OFFLINE; 2. Exit from the SQL prompt and issue an operating system command, such as the following UNIX mv command, to rename the datafile on the primary system: % mv /disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/tbs_4.dbf /disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/tbs_x.dbf 3. Rename the datafile in the primary database and bring the tablespace back online: SQL> ALTER TABLESPACE tbs_4 RENAME DATAFILE 2> '/disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/tbs_4.dbf' 3> TO '/disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/tbs_x.dbf'; SQL> ALTER TABLESPACE tbs_4 ONLINE; 4. Connect to the standby database, query the V$ARCHIVED_LOG view to verify all of the archived redo log files are applied, and then stop Redo Apply: SQL> SELECT SEQUENCE#,APPLIED FROM V$ARCHIVED_LOG ORDER BY SEQUENCE#; SEQUENCE# APP --------- --- 8 YES 9 YES 10 YES 11 YES 4 rows selected. SQL> ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE CANCEL; 5. Shut down the standby database: SQL> SHUTDOWN; 6. Rename the datafile at the standby site using an operating system command, such as the UNIX mv command: % mv /disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/tbs_4.dbf /disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/tbs_x.dbf 7. Start and mount the standby database: SQL> STARTUP MOUNT; 8. Rename the datafile in the standby control file. Note that the STANDBY_FILE_MANAGEMENT initialization parameter must be set to MANUAL. SQL> ALTER DATABASE RENAME FILE '/disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/tbs_4.dbf' 2> TO '/disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/tbs_x.dbf'; 9. On the standby database, restart Redo Apply: SQL> ALTER DATABASE RECOVER MANAGED STANDBY DATABASE 2> DISCONNECT FROM SESSION; If you do not rename the corresponding datafile at the standby system, and then try to refresh the standby database control file, the standby database will attempt to use the renamed datafile, but it will not find it. Consequently, you will see error messages similar to the following in the alert log: ORA-00283: recovery session canceled due to errors ORA-01157: cannot identify/lock datafile 4 - see DBWR trace file ORA-01110: datafile 4: '/Disk1/oracle/oradata/payroll/tbs_x.dbf'
Hope that helps.

Error after you move the temporary data file to another location
Hello

It does not show the file to its new location and temporary data.

These nested application data files contain any data? If so, is it the same as that contained in the original folder?
I would like to treat this situation as a corrupt user profile. To fix this use http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Fix-a-corrupted-user-profile. If that is the only available Administrator Profile (you need to be an administrator to fix this), enable the Hidden Administrator Account (HAA) using http://www.microsoft.com/communities/newsgroups/en-us/default.aspx?&lang=en&cr=US&guid=&sloc=en-us&dg=microsoft.public.windows.vista.administration_accounts_passwords&p=1&tid=d20f9db4-7b2c-48be-a087-7835dc2a9055&mid=d20f9db4-7b2c-48be-a087-7835dc2a9055. If you don't remember the password, try nothing because that's probably what you (or seller) did during the installation. Once that is done, don't forget to disable the HAA to save it in case it is necessary once again and for safety reasons (since people often try to hack into systems using this account). Do NOT use the HAA as your administrator account because if you lose the only administrator on the system account or it is damaged again, then you're watered.
When he is in the process of copy on the old profile files and folders, I first copy the folder of Application data to another location, just in case the change it causes unexpected problems - just make a copy and put it in your Documents folder for now (you can remove it later if everything works as expected). Remove the nested application data folders (unless they contain information are not not in the main folder - then I would probably copy it in the main folder, and then delete). This, so that there is only one Application data folder. Then copy it to the new profile. You may have problems to access these records. If Yes, click on properties, advanced security and check if all the user has denied access. If so delete this entry and you should be able to work with the folder.
I hope this helps.
Good luck!
