  This is a feature suggestion, especially where you have sensitive items in the collections that extend across the phone and Tablet top level NAV.

  IE: same collection includes two provisions applied - one for Tablet, one for the phone.

• Page in double page layout long process

  Hello everyone,

  I have the following in apex oracle 4.2 problem.

  On some pages on click of button I have the sending page using dynamic action. Submit this request I have some instruction insert for number of records on the page. For this Summit insert need about 17 min. When the process is complete, I see number of duplicates of records in my table of data. I concluded that apex submit double in this case. After that, I put 'Submissions in double page to allow' to 'Non-prevent page be re-posted' and now when I submit this page again once I get the following error "APEX. PAGE. DUPLICATE_SUBMIT ERR-3331 this page had already been supplied and cannot be re-submitted. »

  Anyone know where I can change the timeout of response or something like that?

  Hi D,

  Please check setting Glassfish-> Configurations-> by default/Server - config-> network-> network of listeners 1 Config / 2-> Http.  Session Timeout value by default is 900 s. change in 1800 and again test the issue. Please keep in mind that this settings page requires to change the maximum message size setting as well. Adjust this setting for your business needs.

• What is the best way to do a double page spread for a magazine?

  I'm trying to put together a magazine and would like to double-page spreads in it, but my printer has asked that the magazine sent him into single pages.  If I have set up as 'pages face to face' and then change of unique pages when I'm done, if this will upset my page layouts double?

  Set up as faced with pages, then when you make the pdf DO NOT CLICK SPREADS.

  When you click Spreads you ask InDesign to produce a PDF file or page 2 or 3 are joined, and 3-4 are attached etc.

  When you have chosen Spreads Indesign product then one Page pdf.

  A single page, this is what is required by a printer with the pages running in the reading order of page 1 - finishing (for example).

  Do not attempt to impose the document yourself.

  Be sure to include your crop marks and your purge.

  Sidenote on the crop and bleed marks:
  

  Crop marks are needed to adjust the page size when printing. Printers do not print to the edge of a tarpaulin, as it's almost impossible to cut a sheet of paper to the side of a color - color shall extend beyond the line of culture, it's called bleed.

  When you're bleeding of the document, for example, to extend any item that is returned right to the foredge (edges in front of the spinal column), then you need to extend this object off the page in a box of "bleed."

  This allows for human error when it is cutting paper, as each leaf is not truncated individually (which take forever!) they are stacked on the other and cut each into piles. It would be impossible to stack all the sheets exactly the same and there is a movement on the press, offsetting so the movement and the fact that they can never be stacked exactly-why you need objects to extend beyond the edge of the page.

  Crop marks tell the guillotine operator where to cut the sheet. Once they have the measures in their guillotine machine it is a simple matter of rinse and repeat with as many piles of paper there.

  And printers can sometimes bend and cut a brake job, and since it is a machine and you keep mechanical errors and human error, you must bleed too.

  Bleeding is important - if you do not add bleed, then, the object stops on the foredge of paper. And if the blade MIC/crops near the object, but the young woman with a Ribbon - then you have a small piece of white on the piece of paper, which is highly undesirable.

  If you need crop markers so printers know where exactly to cut paper and cut in the purge so that you don't have any white chips.

  And Yes you must crop marks even if you do not bleed, if you have no purging it is likely that the edges of the paper are all white, there is no marks where to cut to the right size you want. Therefore, crop marks appear anything.

  And the placement of the crop marks is important. As I said earlier, the crop are to let the guillotine operator know where to cut the page so that it sinks in the background box lost. The background area lost to allow a mechanical, physical, and human error. And saw that the purge can sometimes be included in a final printed piece, it is not desirable to have anything other that bleed objects in the background box lost.

  For this reason stagger you your crop outside the substantive area landmarks lost. As I am in Europe I work mainly in millimeters, so I had put my region to purge must be 3-5 mm (check with your printers for what purge you should allow) and I had put my crop marks offset of 1 mm more than the purge (i.e., 4-6mm).

  This ensures that the crop marks do not infringe the substantive area lost. If your crop marks do not infringe the lost bottom box, you run the risk of the landmarks of crop on a piece of paper final.

  So in summary

  Make sure you have bleed if necessary on your document.

  Add the desired amount of purge - in my case 3 to 5 mm.

  Offset guides to crop so they do not infringe the substantive area lost - in my case 4 to 6mm.

  (purge depends on requirements of printers - make sure that stagger you your crop marks to be outside the substantive area lost).

  As a best practice, you should reference it the ID of the application as & APP_ID. instead of the real ID.

  You will need to apply the 3.1.1 patch to get the fix for this bug (but simply apply the 3.1.2 patch which is cumulative).

When I click OK on the error page, it returns to the page but does not show the new dfcy #. • Peut liquid/Alternate one-way to double page layouts

  I am creating a portfolio for my ipad and I have not "been able to find a way to do it.

  What I want to do is:

  If I have a portrait page with 2 images of landscape on this subject.  I want to rotate ipad to landscape and have these two images become two separate pages.

  The only way I can think to do is to double the pages or mess up the order of count of pages so that when the next page was turned, it would not correspond with the right image.

  I suspect that this is a matter of DPS, and it is requested before. No, there is no way to do what you want and to be honest I have no idea why you want to do it this way.

  Dual orientation is, IMO, a waste of time and effort, and to do what you describe adds nothing to the reader experience at all.

  Save yourself the aggrivation and choose a direction and pour your effort in which using MSOs to allow the reader to commit to enlarge the images.

  Model based buttons are indeed harder to gray-out/disable HTML buttons are. Demanding that the other buttons on the page are also subject to the same action more complicated the problem.

• Customize the page layout

  Hello!

  By default, in Thunderbird, there are three provisions: Classic, wide and vertical.

  The questions is: none of them is comfortable for me.
  The main part for me is the preview of the email, cause usually I just read letters, email list, cause I need to see when, who and the subject is the least important. I have 4 accounts, many letters, pretty small screen (notebook with 15.6') and the poor eyesight (which means - I put in enough big characters).

  No provision does not allow comfortably read me the letters.

  Is there a possibility to make custom page layout? Using some plugin maybe? I tried to search, but did not find these plugins.

  Any ideas?

  Is there a way to bypass the creation of an Adobe account for use with students on mobile devices such as iPads in the classroom?

  I thought you could just use an Adobe ID as well and have just your students title their art with their names, but it would be problematic to everyone using their iPads at the same time. The best way to do that is to really just have your students each set up an individual Adobe ID (as k mentioned, it's a free account). In this way the work would get saved/synchronized to their own accounts.

  I don't think so. I think you need to open the InDesign file to preview spreads. Or make a PDF of it with gaps selected and view the PDF file.

• Reading - Made double pages

  ADE 1.7.2.1131.

  The drop-down list for reading does not contain pages Fit options. Here is an example of 2 pages are displayed. This book in particular will automatically resize based on scree width but books downloaded by my latest version of ADE are not.

  The specified file has been an ePub file.  In ADE files ePub will be automatically redistributed to make the most of the screen according to the font size you have chosen, and you are not able to specify single vs double pages.   For the PDF files, you can choose connection single or double page.

  I try currently to create an eBook (for Apple iOS Devices) with inDesign CC with a layout fixed and I have 2 problems.

  (1) is it possible to have a page flip effect on leafing the ebook instead of just the effect of 'slide show' by default?

  (2) in my layout, I use a double layout (not very well how it is called in English since my inDesign is in another language). Using the iBooks on the iPhone or the iPad I see only the page left or right at the same time. Since I have images that overlap two pages, I want to be able to see the page left and right at the same time--> like a real book.

• My page layout suddenly went south now, showing the wrong size for portrait and landscape

  The layout for FF6 changed abruptly of different dimensions for the layout and portrait screens. This does not happen on any other printable application or with other browsers.

  I went through the subject: systematic config and no there is no line item of same print.print_printer if ff still Paul, all wrong.

  The useful protrait is square and about 6 X 6 "and the landscape is the old portrait page. I can print portrait using only about 1/2 page then begins to another page.

  Went through printer settings [Brother MFC 822]-

  This does not affect any other program except Firefox.

  About: config, you don't have to reset all the settings of your printer? When you use the line filter, less is more (that is, if you simply filter by using print you will see more preferences to reset).
