  My grandson is severely Dyslexic. It must have access to the software that reads a Web page out loud to him. It has been said that this feature is integrated in Windows 8, but I can't find any reference to it. He (and his mother) are not technical, so can not manage, cut and paste text into Notepad to make the Narrator read. The plugin/add needs to operate just like the Text2 speech made in Firefox.

  I read Community Forums of discussion of this date of the 2009 and 2011, but I wonder if a solution may have been added to Acrobat for the five years that have elapsed since the 2011 community discussions I read?  Ive downloaded the latest Acrobat Pro DC, and I use a PC with Windows 10 I scanned the stories of magazines and books to my computer in the form of PDF files. Books and magazines onto the tray of the scanner so that each test and each page of the PDF contains two pages (one double page) of the book/magazine. Is there an automated/simple process that will split each page scanned in two, so that the PDF contains now correctly sequenced images of a page each page in the book? (The 'perl' suggested solution in 2011 is beyond my expertise in it.) Thanks in advance if anyone can suggest a method that a person may not use computer savvy. I have over 200 pages, each parsed as a double page, I want to divide it into single pages, I have to then 400 correctly paged pages. I need to change these 400 pages and print them as a book-length document. -Wier has.

• Where is the Double Page mode in Digital Editions 2.0?

  Double Page function is missing in 2.0 ADE. I tried to find it, I used the keys short and I know that there is such an option in previous versions. I read other reviews here the same thing. But no response from Adobe Support. I discuss this evening with a representative of Adobe, but he couldn't ' help me. In the list of supported products, there is just 1 ADE and 1.7. How is it possible with a product without support? I want to get a response from Adobe and if you are working on the problem.

  Just checked on 1.7.2 and that goes to page 2 for display automatically once the window is wide enough.  I can't find any option explicitly to enable / disable it.

  It is possible that if you shrink all the 'furniture' around the display of the page up, you will get 2.0 to give you a double page...?

  There are a lot of bugs in 2.0; It wasn't only the support that they have skimped on, but the design, development and testing as well.

  I returned to 1.7.2 due to bugs in 2.0 for Sony eReader, but many others have found that it solved their problems.

  Although it looks like a minor problem I wasn't able to solve it and then ask for your help.

  When you view a page (for example scanned book or brochure) multi document display mode double page (2 pages on the screen located outside the other), Adobe Reader displays the first and second page at a time, then the third and the fourth and so on. Referring to a printed document, it should be in place: page 1, 2 + 3, page 4 + 5 and so on, since page 1 is the cover and first double page to view is 2 + 3, when you open the address book. How can this be achieved? I've not found an option to toggle this behavior.

  Oddly enough, Acrobat 7 does exactly what I want: see page 1 right, continue with 2 + 3, 4 + 5 and so on, ending with the last page on the left side. Hawthorn can it be different than Adobe Reader?

• Mainting double page in the PDF layout

  I created a document using pages face to face in indesign. Once printed to PDF, it opens properly in safari, that is to say a single page (cover), followed by the double pages all the way, just like his laid out in indesign.   Set up as faced with pages, then when you make the pdf DO NOT CLICK SPREADS.

  When you click Spreads you ask InDesign to produce a PDF file or page 2 or 3 are joined, and 3-4 are attached etc.

  A single page, this is what is required by a printer with the pages running in the reading order of page 1 - finishing (for example).

  Do not attempt to impose the document yourself.

  Be sure to include your crop marks and your purge.

  Sidenote on the crop and bleed marks:
  

  Crop marks are needed to adjust the page size when printing. Printers do not print to the edge of a tarpaulin, as it's almost impossible to cut a sheet of paper to the side of a color - color shall extend beyond the line of culture, it's called bleed.

  When you're bleeding of the document, for example, to extend any item that is returned right to the foredge (edges in front of the spinal column), then you need to extend this object off the page in a box of "bleed."

  This allows for human error when it is cutting paper, as each leaf is not truncated individually (which take forever!) they are stacked on the other and cut each into piles. It would be impossible to stack all the sheets exactly the same and there is a movement on the press, offsetting so the movement and the fact that they can never be stacked exactly-why you need objects to extend beyond the edge of the page.

  Crop marks tell the guillotine operator where to cut the sheet. Once they have the measures in their guillotine machine it is a simple matter of rinse and repeat with as many piles of paper there.

  And printers can sometimes bend and cut a brake job, and since it is a machine and you keep mechanical errors and human error, you must bleed too.

  Bleeding is important - if you do not add bleed, then, the object stops on the foredge of paper. And if the blade MIC/crops near the object, but the young woman with a Ribbon - then you have a small piece of white on the piece of paper, which is highly undesirable.

  If you need crop markers so printers know where exactly to cut paper and cut in the purge so that you don't have any white chips.

  And Yes you must crop marks even if you do not bleed, if you have no purging it is likely that the edges of the paper are all white, there is no marks where to cut to the right size you want. Therefore, crop marks appear anything.

  And the placement of the crop marks is important. As I said earlier, the crop are to let the guillotine operator know where to cut the page so that it sinks in the background box lost. The background area lost to allow a mechanical, physical, and human error.   This ensures that the crop marks do not infringe the substantive area lost. If your crop marks do not infringe the lost bottom box, you run the risk of the landmarks of crop on a piece of paper final.

  So in summary

  Make sure you have bleed if necessary on your document.

  Add the desired amount of purge - in my case 3 to 5 mm.

  Offset guides to crop so they do not infringe the substantive area lost - in my case 4 to 6mm.

  (purge depends on requirements of printers - make sure that stagger you your crop marks to be outside the substantive area lost).

  Yes, the Pages is mac only. Have you tried to export the Pages doc as a file > export > Word - then select .doc or .docx.

  If you want to try an other Office suite, I'd give LIbreOffice (https://www.libreoffice.org/) a go, it is free (open source), I use at home and work.

  No, the language and region settings are not responsible for Japanese kanji list in internt explorer 7.
  You will need to download the MUI Pack of Internet Explorer 7. You can find it on Micrsoft.com, but I don't know if this works with SP3.

  I have the following in apex oracle 4.2 problem.

  On some pages on click of button I have the sending page using dynamic action. Submit this request I have some instruction insert for number of records on the page. For this Summit insert need about 17 min. When the process is complete, I see number of duplicates of records in my table of data. I concluded that apex submit double in this case. After that, I put 'Submissions in double page to allow' to 'Non-prevent page be re-posted' and now when I submit this page again once I get the following error "APEX. PAGE. DUPLICATE_SUBMIT ERR-3331 this page had already been supplied and cannot be re-submitted. »

  Anyone know where I can change the timeout of response or something like that?

  Hi D,

  Please check setting Glassfish-> Configurations-> by default/Server - config-> network-> network of listeners 1 Config / 2-> Http.  Session Timeout value by default is 900 s. change in 1800 and again test the issue. Please keep in mind that this settings page requires to change the maximum message size setting as well. Adjust this setting for your business needs.

  I made 4 pages on In Design, but it comes out as 3 pages when I export to PDF using Acrobat Pro DC.  How can I change so that when exported to PDF it comes out as 4 pages that I designed it? I use a windows PC.  Do not think that the questions but thought I would mention it just in case.

  I have a double page file I want to convert a file of unique pages.  How can I do this in Acrobat?

  Some people have written some JavaScript to fix this, but I'm not sure with scans. If you wait, one of the people with JavaScript could drop in and help (do not expect an immediate response). If you search the forum, you might find the script references. This happens once or twice a year. If it's a small file and you have time, you can crop the left and save, then recrop the side of writing and keep them. Then mix the two files and reorganize. After you place your order, you can go to the tools of protection and use the option delete hidden and make one save slot for we hope to get the desired result. I think that simply duplicate JavaScript code each page crop both, repeating the process through the entire file then remove hidden information and save, but not sure.
