CRS-4124 after removing the local administrator account

Oracle 11.2.0.3 EE

ASM / Single Instance

Windows Server 2008

We have installed the Oracle Grid software and the database software using the local administrator of the windows operating system account. Later, the customer has deleted this account windows for security reasons. After that and rebooting the system, the Oracle does not start and displays the following errors:

CRS-4124: Oracle high availability Services startup failed.
CRS-4000: Start command has failed, or completed with errors.

After you add the local administrator of the OHA succeeds to start. But we need a solution without a local administrator without having to reinstall the Oracle software.

Thanks in advance!

Wolfgang

Hello Wolfgang,.

You are not supposed to remove the user from the administrator that was used to install the software. You can lock that counts if him want, however, you do not delete the account

Kind regards

  • How do I open a session with the local administrator account in Windows 8

    Hello

About two weeks ago, I bought my laptop Dell Inspiron 15 inch 7000 Series that pre-installed with Win8 Japanese worm.

Tried to download the Win8.1 from the store to Win, but asked me to identify a user with administrative privileges.

When I booted up my laptop, it only prompted me to my Windows account (created this account I've first turning on my laptop).

  • Remove the Windows administrator account?

    Hi friends,

I use Windows XP. After the operating system installed, I worked with the default administrator user.  I worked in SQL, Visual Source Safe, and the default navigation

Administrator account.  So my history and cookies are stored in this story... Then for the purposes of testing, I created an administrator account by myself with the name of "Admin". so after that, I could not delete the Admin account, I don't want this account because I don't want to lose any of my story.

I want to work with the default Administrator account and I would like to delete the Admin account I created.

Is this possible?. Please someone help remove my Admin account and continue with the default Administrator account...

Please I am really struck upward with this problem...

    Hi Ravikaran,

-What exactly happens when you try to delete the administrator account? You receive an error message or error code? If Yes, indicate the same.

You must be logged on as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group to perform this procedure. If your computer is connected to a network, network policy settings may also prevent you from complete this procedure.

See the following articles for more information on the deletion of the account:

You have a local administrator account where it was defined

    http://img26.imageshack.us/img26/5716/18112010133154.PNG

I think preventing the admin account to remove or install devices.  This causes a problem.  Looks like it's AD GP as is grayed out and I can't add locally.  The network team claim there is no GPs AD to limit the admin account local they know of.

Also, I try to use the process on the machine monitor, but who needs administrator rights and he repeats that the local administrator account is not a member of the Administrators group, but it is.

Any ideas?  Even if it's just he Process Monitor bit setting?

And looking at the photo can someone explain which means that icon next to load and unload device drivers.  It is different from the others and think that it is linked, may be trying to tell me that it is a strategy of AD Group.

I talked to the networks, they said there is not together AD GP for this.  I used the local administrator account to create a new local administrator account and put it in the Administrators group.  Connected to it and it also has the same problem.

    Any ideas?

The symbol, that you reference indicates that the setting has been locked by group policy and is not editable.  When I saw it in the past, the only way I could replace, it is using "secedit".  For more information about this command:

  • How to set up a local administrator account with elevated privileges, but without the rights of local access connection

I want workstation installation a Windows 7 where regular users only have power user rights, because I do not want that they either accidentally change important settings or for malicious to be processes able to run Web sites. However that these will be remote users there maybe times when they need a local administrator account to allow them to perform installation, correction or updating. So, I created a local user account, added to the Administrators group and used the Panel of local security policy and the account added to the list "Deny log on locally '.

It works by refusing the admin account to connect directly. However when I log in under the power user account and run something that requires elevated privileges the admin account is refused to carry out the process.

What is the combination of security settings can I refuse a desktop session Admin account but allows it to be used for processes requiring elevated privileges?

    Thank you!

    Hello

Thank you for contacting Microsoft Community.
This is quite normal. When you refuse the privileges of local access connection, local users can not use the administrator account information because it is be the local login. So, it is better to create a domain and restrict the use of administrative operations to the administrator.

Local Admin account has been changed to "OscarAdmin".  When sysprep runs, it changes (or deletions / recreate) the only administrator Local "Administrator" account  We do not have the customization add new machine virtual domain but which shouldn't matter.  How do we stop Sysprep, invoked by the deployment of VIC VM, change "OscarAdmin"?

Just add another account administrator, OscarAdmin.

Let sysprep anything to do with the original account and use Group Policy to disable the default and just keep a new.

  • Program runs in the hidden administrator account, but not the administrator account

I have been using Altium Designer for about 5 months. One day, I tried Eun and got the error "dxp.exe has stopped working.  So, after trying a re-boot.  I have reinstalled the software.  At the end of installation, I get the message "the system administrator has set policies that prevent this facility." The installation then said that the installation has been completed successfully. I tried: unlock all files in the installation directory, run the installation as an administrator, the installation running on the hidden administrator account. Turn off UAC.

The installation leaves me with a program which runs in hidden administrator but not nromal administrator.  Even if the install ation was made as normal anministrator.

I am running Windows 7 Home premium, so the control of local security is not available.

Thank you for your help ITKnowledge24.  Your post helped me to find parts of the program that I would never know that existed.

It turns out that my problem was in two parts.  First what killed the software is primarily a print unrelated dirver.  (go figure)  Installation errors were caused because I downloaded the version recient most of the manufacturer's Web site.  When I reinstalled using the old version, the installation was without error.  The software starts to run correctly when the printer driver has been removed.  It seems that windows security was only a Kipper.

  • Is any impact of a change of the password of the local user account on an instance of a content server Cisco TelePresence virtual computer?

    Hello

I'm looking to see if there is an impact to change the password of the local user account on an instance of a content server Cisco TelePresence virtual machine?

The software version is v6.2 build 4073.

    Thank you in advance,

I'll assume, you are referring to the administrator account, but it can be applied to any local account which is located on the TCS server itself.  It has no impact to change the password, unless you are using doesn't say account to connect to the server of TCS or web interface, it will not affect the application of TCS as most things such as external storage or clustering rely on domain accounts and not the local server.

  • Satellite A55-S1065 - after removing the battery, BIOS ask me password

So, something happened yesterday, and it seems to me that it is very strange.
I have a portable Satellite A55-S1065. And while I was with power point, the
computer crashes. In the midst of my confusion, I decided to delete

So I did it and plugged it again
and I tried to turn on the computer. Now, the bios ask me a password,
but I've no idea what password it is that. Can someone help me solve this problem?
IM really desperate to find a solution to this since this computer contain
    many of my works.

    Thank you very much.

    > After removing the battery, BIOS ask me password
I know it may seem silly now, but I never heard of something like that. I use laptop for a long time and I had the experience with many others and strange question, but something like that, never.

Problem is that we are dealing here in the public forum and BIOS password is a very sensitive area and very important security feature, so we can not write here about some illegal ways how you can remove the BIOS password.

If there is no way to start your laptop, I recommend you contact the nearest Toshiba service provider and ask for help.
    I'm sorry. :(
