  I'm doing him Microsoft report on an email I received on 07/11/12, supposedly from MS Headquarters, telling me that my windows license has expired and I have to renew it by replying to the email or in appellant:

  I have no answer or call due to grammatical mistakes in the letter and my suspect character! (The first paragraph of the letter reads "this letter is information to make you aware of this operating system of windows (sic) (recorded under your name) has now expired.") I don't think that Microsoft would send a badly phrased letter, and I didn't know where else to report!

  2 when was the last time it was working fine?

  3. What is the full error you receive while opening Windows media player?

  4. is your copy of Windows active?

  I suggest that you check if your copy of Windows is enabled on the computer.

  To check your Windows activation status, do the following:

  (a) open system by clicking the Start button, click Control Panel, clicking system and Maintenance, and then click System.

  (b) under Windows activation, you can see your activation status.

  Uninstall your creative cloud application that basically allows you to download apps and redownload it. This should do the job. Your system just lost you license update.
