Photosmart C3100

I have trouble with printing and scanning, documents and the internet.  It seems to print a test page, but that's all.  I tried to uninstall, but not better.  I only have the disk Photosmart C3100, nothing else.  The instructions refer to the HP all-in-one device?   Is not technical I just assume that it's the printer and I downloaded the drivers from the HP UK site.

Please, can anyone help?

Tried all of this, but did not solve the problem. Abandoned after many lost hours and the printer of dumping. Thanks anyway

    drivers provided. Check with HP support, their documentation online and
    drivers and ask in their forums.

    I do not change one any of these

    About 2 weeks ago the printer has delivered a message of error status. I can't use the scanner either.

  • HP Photosmart C3100 model Q8160A printer shakes and rough route - will not be printed.

    HP Photosmart C3180 do not print correctly.  The printer runs very rough, shakes and the admission document is jerky and does not print letters etc.  Recently, I changed my cartridge and he had checked.  Its fine and allows to print on another printer.  I searched and found nothing to help.  If all goes well, there is an answer because it is really a nice printer, scanner, etc..

    If the printer works very rough, shaking, etc., then it has a hardware problem and you will have to contact HP. If the printer is older, chances are it will be cheaper to get a new one rather than trying to get yours fixed. You can always open it and see if there is nothing obviously wrong with the guts of it.

    I can't find a download for my printer C3100 all-in-one - series # my6b9c416g04kv.  The next number is C3125.   I want to add this printer to my HP Pavilion dv6 notebook PC.  The CD of my printer does not work because of this PC in Windows 7.  HP Support and drivers don't downloads for this older printer model?

    I just had to upgrade to Windows 7, but the CD of my printer only works for the old XP.  I don't new installation CD, a sort of workaround, or I have to buy a new printer, too!

    Thank you very much!  Seems to work very well.  What a relief not having to buy a new printer, too!

    I bought a new Hp computer a few years back with windows installed 8.1 but despite trying all the possibilities

    I still can't HP for my Hp Solution Center while a printer hp support could not help saying that I have a conflict of program.

    Me for long time now, I wonder if something has changed to help me I have looked through the forum and the

    one that I was thinking can help is to know the Printer Wizard, but even that escapes me so maybe someone out there can be a solution.

    You're no harm at all, in fact, I appreciate your patience and perseverance, a lot more than you know!

    8.1 for Windows is designed to be slightly different from that of Windows 8, it appears the restoration forced you in the upgrade and I didn't know it would be. A I knew, I would have told you it's possible and you could decide whether you want to continue.  I myself 8.1 and like you I enjoyed to have the Windows key in the lower left corner which allowed me to make the navigation easier. I installed what is called the classic interface.

  • My Hp Photosmart C3100 all-in-one says it's "Initializing" it will not stop.

    I even unplugged, but it keeps going. I have Windows 7 64 bit. He went "off-line" (which is another problem) the other day so I turned it off and when I turned it on it showed the initialization on the screen and it has not stopped since.

    I would try a Hard reset to the product. Here are the steps.  With the printer, unplug the power cord at the back of the machine and then unplug it from the wall outlet. Wait at least 30-60 seconds. Then plug the power cord back into the wall first. If the cord has a module to ensure that the light of the module. Then plug the power cord to the back of the printer. It should turn back in itself, but if not to use the power button to make it back on.  None of the settings will be lost on this reset so it shouldn't hit the printer offline. How is the printer connected? If it is wireless I was watching how far is the router of the printer. Some devices that operate on the same signal as cordless phones can interfere as well. Ideally, the router and the printer should be in the same room with no walls between them.

    I know that probably the answer to this already, but here goes anyway. I have an old printer. HP all-in-One Photosmart C3100. He has just shot ten years old. I had some time after 2006, or at the least, it is the date indicated on the manual.  I just got a new computer to replace my computer that was about as old. I climbed up from XP to Windows 7.

    My printer, which works great, needs a driver and HP does not seem to do more. On their website, they say nothing more than ten years. I have no chance or is there anything else I can do?

    Recently, I encountered some problems serious the printer. When my printer rolls turns, it produces a sound extremely hard. Reject, we continued using the printer. However, today, the rolls seemed rather slow and it seems as if it may malfunction at any time. True that, I couldn't print more things. When I opened the dorr of my printer to check, I noticed there wassome spill the ink shape. When I closed the door, I went to the control panel to check the status of my printer. It says "open door, a single document in the queue" when I already closed the door.

    I really need help ASAP, I need to print something important right now!

  • HP Photosmart C3180: need driver for HP Photosmart C3180

    Hello, I upgraded my Macbook recently 10.6 until 10,11 El Capitan and after this upgrade, I am unable to use the HP Scanner Utility, because it always reports that my scanner is already in use.  I suspect it's because it requires an update of my HP C3180 Photomosmart. Are you able to provide any help?

  • Cannot delete the HP Photosmart C3180 and port DOT4USB drivers

    I deleted the icon of the printer and the bestI software possible.  but I still have the DOT4USB port, but no printer icon. Ineed to remove the portand drivers. I have now an a909g hp 8500, and the new tests diagnostic shows the HP Photosmart C3180 as one of the printers on a USB port. This is not true.

    I'm a software developer, and computer repair guy and I took a class years on writing ActiveX/OLE controls, so I don't mind editing the registry and delete the files.  I need steps for pub to remove the vestigesof the c3180.  This software is a pain in the neck. easiest way to uninstallis to reinstall windows from scratch, I know, but I have a lot of valuable files.

    I don't want to miss all the pieces. the drivers are not my skills more.

    I got it by using a regedit file that looked like below.

    someone else will be different because the material of the port will be different, so you should not use this exact one.

    I suggest you rather that do [windows [logo-key indicator] r regedit [Enter]

    Search for the following text (not nessarily just a string):

    Find "HP Photosmart C31" partial text and delete the entries that you find

    Search text "DOT4USB" and delete the entries you find, but make sure that you do not delete the keys to category of port

    You can search "DOT4" and carefully remove the subentries that apply only to the C3100 series.  You probably already have these above.

    reset.  You must, because these drivers are still loaded and these inscriptions will be back unless you restart now that you have deleted entries.

    You can alsodocument them to change, copy the name of the key, then paste into notepad ++ and save it as a .reg with Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 header file

    each key listed must be separated by ablank line and begin by [- and ends by]

  • Series Photosmart C300 Installer fails

    I can't install the Photosmart C3100 series on my Mac Book Pro software. Here is a screenshot showing my progress of the installation. The installation seems to be entering a cycle of error when it asks if I want to participate in surveys of HP - answer either Yes or no back the installation wizard to the position as shown on the screenshot.

    Can anyone help please?

    What version of Mac OS X?  Are you SURE that the software that you used is compatible with it?
