CS3 has stopped working on two imac

Hi I really need an Adobe CS3 expert and help of a Mac expert. I've been troubleshooting two days without success. I've been in the forum trying to solve the mystery of my CS3 software closed. I have an imac with Snow leopard 10.6.8 2006.

My daughters also have an imac (latest 2010) and since I have two educational edition of Adobe CS3 One's WEB the other is Design Premium. At the same time I had once installed on mine, and then put the Design Standard on my computer of girls leave my 17 years artistic ols use Photosshop for school.

Everything has been working fine until two days ago, while in Photoshop on my computer, no error message has been seen.

It has stopped working, the cursor become a pin head and all the options greyed out and must force quit to close. Dreamweaver, Illustrator, and InDesign are also answer either, all the options greyed out and not when you open one of these that an empty box appears titled Adobe Creavtive Suite 3 Web Premium, which only has a function of yellow on reductions, or on my mac to children the box says Design STD.

First, I installed istat pro, thinking that it is a thing of memory. (and again, it could be, but I don't know quite what to do istat pro said I have 195 GB left, so I made the place - after uninstalling CS3, I had about 203 GB on my drive hard until I reinstalled it.)

I tried to reinstall, also uninstall and reinstalled. Repeated uninstall / reinstall with cc cleaning, re start after each step.

I called Adobe thinking that they cut me, since ironically the two computers are the same! They said they don't do that. I never registered my products, but have two teas products. # The person to whom I spoke joined my S3 yesterday. She said resettlement should work.

When I reinstall I am not asked for the numbers.

Last night I uninstalled, cleaned and restored, then software Monday. Same thing is happening. AGH!

If a has a living using this software I would register to use the new CC but because I'm in the recognition phase, I want to just my CS3 back.

Looking for a saving grace. Thanks for your help!

    Received this message yesterday for the first time after using this program for a while now. Last night, when I clicked the icon in InDesign, the purple window came, says "initializing" as always, but this time he was immediately followed by a message saying "Adobe InDesign CS3 has stopped working".     When I try to poen, a file, a reception, an image of the error "the specified module is not found. C:\programFiles\common Files\adobe\adobe Version CyeCs3|3.1.0\VersionCueUI.DLL". When I tried to reinstall, I find myself alone with only DreamweaverCS3 reinstalled. The rest failed.

    It did not work.

    Now I try the Solution 2: run the licensing repair tool

    I get to step 5g and type:

    I get my PW.

    Then, I always get an error that reads:

    Just FYI for anyone else who might have this problem:

    • I never had Adobe patch to the continued work to get the error messages like above.
    • In desperation, I just deleted everything that I could find on my computer relating to the APS CS3 and reinstalled using the original disk. Everything works fine now!

  • Questions: Re-installation of Photoshop CS3, problem: "a license for this product has stopped working".

    My old computer has Photoshop CS3 (and Illustrator CS3) installed.  The old computer is dead. I did a Time Machine backup from another computer of backup", who had both of these installed applications.  (2 installs is allowed).  I have records of origin for both applications.  My new Mac lacks a DVD player.  So, I downloaded two applications from Adobe.  Photoshop: I launched the installer, & Photoshop CS3 is not installed.  Then I installed the Photoshop.  When Photoshop is launched, I got the dialog box: (((a license for this product has stopped working.  You cannot use this product at this time.  You must repair the problem by uninstalling and then reinstalling this product or contact your COMPUTER administrator or Adobe customer support for assistance. ()) Adobe fails to phone support for CS3 products.

    This problem can occur because of no present conflicts of Microsoft programs on the computer, I suggest you try the following steps:

    Step 1: Put the computer to clean and test start

    Two sides priting has stopped working. Print both sides "checked" but print dialog shows released a face on two sheets or "layout" began to show "long edge binding" as GRAYED OUT. Any ideas please?

    I see that you have options with double-sided printing to your Officejet Pro 8500 at more of your Mac 10.10 system. I can help with that.

    Here's what we will try to solve this problem:

    1. Go to your Apple icon, system preferences, printers and Scanners.
    2. Hold down the command key and click on the image to your printer on the left.
    3. Click on reset printing system.
    4. Go to Applications, utilities, disk utility.
    5. Click "Macintosh HD" on the left.
    6. Click on verify disk permissions. This should take about 10 minutes.
    7. Click on repair disk permissions. This should take about 10 minutes.
    8. Restart your Mac.
    9. Return to the printers and Scanners.
    10. Click on the button "+" at the bottom left.
    11. Select your printer.
    12. Next to the line indicating the use, click on the box and click on the name of your printer in the list.
    13. Click on Add.
    14. Try to print.

    This should allow you to print double-sided.

    I used CS3 without problems so far. I have not changed anything, and now when I launch Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and DreamWeaver, I get this error.
