CS3: importing DVD mpeg-2 without audio files

Some files in DVD NTSC (mpeg-2 converted to .flv) when in a project DV NTSC, lose their audio completely. The video only appears in the info panel. Only the video track appears in the timeline panel.

Outside the program, in fact, when they are imported into Encore CS3, audio plays normally. Unfortunately, I can't edit yet.

No explanation of the video wise out there?

If contains AC3 audio and it usually does on dvd, copy the ad2ac3dec.dll file again and that stick to the root of first, that will bring back your audio files. First make a new project or re-import the file.

    Hello

    1. the problem occurs only with this game disc?

    2. don't you get AutoPlay windows when inserting the disc?

Method 1: You can browse the contents of the game disc and locate the Setup file which is the setup.exe file.

Game disc should contain the file setup.exe and install the game.

Method 2: If you are not to ask the AutoPlay option when the disc is inserted and then follow the steps in the article and check:

  • Subtitles without audio file?

I would like to have my slide notes displayed as subtitles EVEN if I don't have an audio file - how can I do this?  I imported a PP file into captivate 7 and there are notes slides in this PP. I want these annotations to the slides to display at the end of the project, and I do NOT have an audio file - and were going to be any point. I would like to just that slide notes/subtitling for work as support information on the slides?

    Thanks in advance,

    Nanna

You MUST have an audio file to use the subtitles feature.  There should not be voiceover on it.  It could contain only audio sound very low, but should not be pure silence that otherwise Captivate tends to clip off as pure silence, letting you return to the box start.

  • Project imported from another computer, the audio files are jumping or any waveform?

    Hey everybody,

I import a project from another version to date of first Pro CC 2014, it was working fine on another computer but on import some audio in the order and in the source monitor are jump or play just back all choppy as a bad CD. Some audio in the Control Panel Assembly have no waveform. I tried to replace some, that works, but there are a LOT of audio to replace and I'm not 100% sure those who read evil or of the previous editor.

I visited, re-rendering, clear cache and it always does. I'm not sure what is the problem. Also sometimes when I try to make the entire project for the preview, it gives me 'cannot compile the film' unknown error.

Any advice/help would be appreciated. Thank you!

Pense thought to it, here's what I did in the case where someone has a similar problem - had to remove manually everything in the 'Clean' media Cache files did not really work. Am entered and removed everything for re - conform files, worked for some files, but not all. Turns out that on the other drive, there were some PEK and CFA project hidden files in this local disk. I searched .cfa files both .pek and all removed so first can regenerate new ones.  Things work now

  • First 13 elements will publish the MPEG file only as audio file

I first elements 13 and when I try to publish videos in MPEG only an audio file is published. Other formats such as AVCHD and Windows Media work, but I really want to use mpeg to HD quality. Any help is appreciated thank you.

The first image below is the format of publication I've used. The second image is the result of publish the movie. Although the file is saved as .mpg it plays only the audio (and yes I tried opening with different programs, all the same result).

Windows Media Player is very limited with regard to the types of files it can play.

Download the excellent and free VLC Media Player and try to play your file with it. I think that you certainly have a MPEG here.

  • Importing Audio files in the Lightroom Catalog

Hi, I have recently started my move from Aperture to Lightroom. It's so much more powerful, with so many parameters! But one thing that's really problematic is that Lightroom does ' t support Audio files (it doesn't video) Unlike the opening. This is crucial for my photo, video and a sound management and would like to hear if its possible or is it something that is still under construction for Lightroom?

If you have audio annotation .wav files created by your camera for specific images (for example, .jpg and example), LR will import as a special "sidecar" files, and they will appear in the metadata Panel on the right:

If you click the .wav file name, LR will play it.

If you want to import, tag and search for audio files to any other format, including audio files that are not associated with a particular image, LR doesn't have this builtin ability. However, you can use the plugin to any file to import and manage these audio files.

On the storm, it is not possible to play 2 sounds loaded from a file at a time.  If you try this, the first sound stops and the second sound will be played.

You can, however, load and play a sound (background music) and play other sounds (sound effects) by using Alert.startAudio ().  The first noise not would be cut.  The only problem with this is that the Alert.startAudio sounds are not the best.

  • Export to CS3-mpeg2-dvd files

Hi and thanks for your help on this...

I just exported since media encoder cs3, a clip of 90 s of graphics and sound to a project that is set up for avi type 2 dv ntsc 720x480i, lower field first in high dvd quality mpeg2, dolby... I changed to pcm dolby and went from 4 to 5 and let quality bitrate default values...

It generated 4 files with these extensions:

    M2V

    M2v.xmpses

    WAV

    XMP

When I double click on files support classic m2v opens the file and play and it is superb and the sound is good.

When I file in gspot m2v file it says it's a video file (without audio).

I will burn a DVD later and am new to this... so I'm not really used to the types of programs to create DVD file require for the BEST dvd quality... and was wondering... How are the related files (wav and m2v)... .by which another file generated and is - it normal to expect a DVD program created to recognize (apparently demuxed during export?) audio and video files.  Thank you!

    Stem

At the end of the day, it's bitrate, and depends on how much you put on the disc.  When I don't know how the menus will take, I like to leave again to decide the bitrates.  If I don't have much, I use a relatively high rate of CBR and can I export a soul or simply send again and set the bitrate there.

Given that I don't have the encoder dolby in first, if I'm not going to even with an avi file, I do like you did: décimalisé export, so I have a m2v and wav.  the xmpses handles things like chapter information.  In most cases, you don't see a difference without these files, but if everything works well, keep them.

In, if "import you as timeline" it will bring in the m2v and wav.  Some programs may require you to provide them separately and bind.

Note that if you do a test with a very small file disc, you may need to key the disc with rom content to get a drive that will test correctly.

  • ITunes can import 24-bit audio files?

    Hello

I've been looking for the right settings import audio files in 20 bit and 24 bit. Is there anyone who can tell me if iTunes is able to import these files without quality loss?

I am desperately looking for a response on the internet and nobody seems to know (or care?).

    Thanks for any response, Marc

iTunes will downconvert to 16 bits, if you convert the files.  I use Enqueue or VLC to read files that I don't want to convert.  There is a free app on the App Store called FLACTunes that allows to convert to Apple Lossles, but she too back.  It was an application named Fluke that would allow iTunes to play FLAC not converted. I have but it is buggy and I don't know if it is still supported.

Hi - I am using Windows DVD Maker. I selected a Menu Audio file (via the command button Customize Menu). He is much stronger that those of the audio from the video file it is essential. I can't change because it has several volumes adjusted in Windows Movie Maker.

Is it possible somehow to reduce the volume of the audio file of the menu? Thanks for the tips!

The same as my previous answer... prepare the
files before importing in creation of DVD.

You can convert video clips of the. WMV
Format... import into Movie Maker... adjust
the volume and re-check. Then import them into
    Creation of DVD.

  • import an audio file instead of using micro

in the future, it will be possible to import an audio file instead of using micro for the lip sync?

It is already possible to synchronize lips without using a microphone. Import a file (File/Import) a wav or aiff. Drag it into the scene. Select the puppet that you want to synchronize lips. Then click on timeline/Compute Lip Sync audio of the scene.

You can also play audio files on your computer and, if the system audio hardware preferences are configured correctly, lip sync that activating the microphone.

  • Captivate accidents import or edit an audio file

    Hello

I created demos of software simulation with text-to-speech voices in Captivate 5.5 on Windows 7.  Recently, on the one hand projects, I replaced the text-to-speech by importing audio files to MP3 successfully. Whie repeating the same effort in another project, Captivate crashed.  This behavior is true in all new and existing projects to import everything or modification of audio data. Captivate freezes in the following circumstances:

    1.

    Open a new/existing project.

Import audio to the slide - mp3. The file is imported successfully.

The Captivate is suspended shortly after importation.

    2.

    Open a new/existing project.

Import audio to the slide - mp3. The file is imported successfully.

Save the file and continue working with the application.

Click Edit Audio option in the properties. The grip of Captivate.

Note: By clicking on the option Delete Audio in properties is running without any problems.

    3.

    Open an existing project.

Select audio for a slide, and then click Edit Audio

    The grip of Captivate.

Has anyone ran into similar problems? Help, please.

    Kind regards

    Nalini

Rodward thanks for your reply. I found the solution to search the forum Archives. [I just renamed my preferences directory in C:\Users\[user name] record Captivate 5.5 \AppData\Local\Adobe\Adobe. That fixed the problem.

  • Audio interview with corrupted after importing files! How to reverse changes body makes into audio files?

    Hello

I have a terrible problem. I recorded audio interviews for a documentary with quicktime and a connected microphone. I had to reduce some noise to the files, and since I know my way around garageband (I know, not very pro), but this program has failed to the .mov, so I renamed the momentarily .mp3 files. Two of my nine audio files are saved because I had already imported them in Britain. I was just curious to know if the first would take the renamed files, unaware that first actually changes files when you import, even - as in this case - if they are denied. So I have renamed their return to their original .mov, but first you don't take those too more. In fact no program, I tried (vlc, QT, mpeg streamclip) recognized them, what extension, including .aac (record format) initial and h264 (once worked in the past with another problem).

So I saw the last modified date had changed at the time that I tried to import them and when I opened the file in textedit, I saw many lines where I found the words adobe and creation, and it was also a complete mess of unicode. If you open an affected record to quicktime, you get a completely different picture of a few lines, so those who seem for the most part unreadable by textedit.

These records are very important to me and the size of the files seems to be the same. He was wrong about this thought first that he was dealing with an mp3 player while he was not and therefore corrupt the file. I would be very grateful for any means possible to invert the first changes made to these files! I included a link where you can download one of the smaller files for an expert can see what is wrong here: http://www.mediafire.com/?yje79kqe9tbueki

    (I'm using cs5 mac btw)

    Thank you, Jonathan

    You are welcome.

  • Import MTS clips without audio

I'm importing from an SD card, MTS clips. There are 212 of them, and for some reason, the last 20 or more are to come in without audio. I deleted and don't re-import of the camera itself and no luck, same thing (audio and video). Any ideas what I was doing, how to fix? I'm new to PP, first time production.

Do not copy the individual files on your hard drive... copy the entire folder that contains the file from your camera to your hard drive, so the 'metadata' are copied onto your computer, and then import the files in this folder from the hard drive

  • Impossible to import audio files

honestly this made me angry at Adobe.

No matter the format, regardless of the bitrate, I can't import ALL audio files into flash CS4 without getting the error "one or more files were not imported because he had problems reading of their.

This happens both when I import into the scene and import them into the library.

Please if you know something about this please help otherwise the entire flash program is useless for me.

Also, I found online that the installation of quicktime solves the problem. He has not worked for me, I have reinstalled quicktime 3 times to make sure.

Have you tried to import other audio files? Have you tried one of these offending files import in an audio editor application and resave the file, and then import the new version?

If all else fails, you can re - install Flash.
