  I have an old Mac running OS 10.5.8 and need to know if CS3 will run on it. Help?

  CS3 is a good version of Photoshop before Adobe added support for GPU.  I don't remember the conditions required for CS3, they would be not much different then CS6, with the exception of the GPU. What processor is has your old mac?  CS3 may require a processor intel nor and IBM power PC. I'm a windows user. I thing here period CS3 Mac were all OSX and Intel processors.

  Looking for help to build my 3 node VSAN Home lab.  This section of discussion has a lot of details to help someone else in the same boat as me (present or future).

  The goal:

  Operation of a laboratory at home with ESXi 5.5U1 where the primary storage is VSAN.  Prescription: 3 hosts at least 2 cores and 8 GB of RAM and at least a SSD and a SATA drive for each host.

  The problem:

  When I try to install ESXi 5.5 U1 on my host (ASUS build details below), I get the message "error loading tools.t00 Fatal Error: 10 (from resources)" during the installation process. Installation process is one USB Flash drive to another.

  When I install ESXi U1 5.1 on the same system, everything works perfectly.  Installation process is one USB Flash drive to another.

  Not yet tried ESXi 5.5.

  What I've done so far?  Too much to mention, but here, it's where I made some progress.

  What settings BIOS configurations / had no impact/weird behavior?

  • When I plug SATA and SSD controller SATA Intel colors 'Brown' ports, ESXi can't see readers at all, no matter what VIB files, I add to the ISO image.  So, I had only work with yellow ASMedia controller ports.
  • I have disconnected the SATA and SSD drives, disabled the Intel and ASMedia controllers.  This did not help.
  • I disabled the office equipment that has no benefit to ESXi (Advanced, Onboard Devices Configuration) - controllers SATA Intel etc., embedded wireless, Bluetooth, Audio.  This did not help.
  • Thinking that Thunderbolt could be a problem, I tried to disable adapters Thunderbolt (Advanced, Onboard Devices Configuration) and then I had problems with the start-up of the image ISO of ESXi.
  • I even added this http://www.virtuallyghetto.com/2013/09/running-esxi-55-on-apple-mac-mini.html Mac Mini Thunderbolt pilot ESXi ISO image, without success.

  What I intend to do?

  • Upgrade firmware Z87 DELUXE (BIOS update tool does not work, "Violation of security checking" reports, will probably have to install Windows 7 to use the updater tool).
  • Try to install ESXi 5.5, then use AUVS to update 1.
  • Continue to build the whole environment with ESXi 5.1 U1 to burn and continue troubleshooting ESXi 5.5 U1 on a single host.

  • No PCI-e adapters (using the integrated storage controllers and network)

  Upgrade to ESXi 5.1 update 1 for ESXi 5.5 Update 1 via esxcli worked.

  Intel Z87 Serial ATA controller is not recognized by ESXi.  Don't know what driver is missing, but the ASMedia Serial ATA controller works.

  Hmm, it looks like a problem with the motherboard or part connected to the motherboard.

  Recommend doing this! You can use a tool like Memtest or similar.
  Maybe it isn't that a Ram problem and new modules could solve your problem.

  Hello, I did a disk eraser and reinstalled everything (to clean computers), then when I had to reinstall firefox I had a problem. I play a game called Fallensword.   My machine now works. Here's what happened between my last post and the MS update feature works once more.

  I answered my own question about the SubInACL is allowed file to use on my machine. Googling it I found that it is a 'security descriptor and Editing Migration command-line tool' and that it would work on my XP Home edition. So I have done no harm. But he didn't explain why the machine does not respond to a stop command.

  So, with no harm done and an available restore point, I thought that I would see what the SubInACL program since the drive light was working but no message readable in detail until it was over.

  Googling the first line (echo off) in the batch file led me to a MS page that explains the function of command to echo. If I wanted to see out all I had to do was remove the echo off line. So I used Notepad to remove the line and saved the file. Re-run the bat file then produces a flow of lines in the cmd window - moving too fast to read. I got what I asked for but don't want that I really needed.

  Google "screen xp file output. The second Google result was a link to www.microsoft.com/resources/documentation , which explains how to redirect the output of a command file into a text file. So I followed the example and added a ">" and a unique filename at the end of each line. Worked like a charm. Weres big, very big files. All order lines have reported no failure except HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet which had modified 204160 entries and lines 901 has failed. Looking at a small sample of these faulty items, that they seem to belong to my McAfee AV, so I expect them to be special.

  A reboot of the machine successfully. Still didn't update.

  I ran the MicrosoftFixit program with no error reported.

  Rebooted and found the update feature works again. Cross my fingers batch of this next month of MS updates does not return this ghost.

  Hope someone can benefit from my experiences.

• MacBook Pro running Mavericks: error starting Pro first

  I have a Macbook Pro 2011. I have Premiere Pro CS5, CS6 and now CC 2015. CS6 has worked for a long time, then came all of a sudden with this error:

  So I reinstalled CS5 of the thought of disk, it might be useful. I have CS5 on the Macbook, and it works fine. I can't figure out how to get CS6 once again, even though I have the serial number for it. I installed CC 2015 but it comes up with the same error for CS6 start-up.

  I went into System Preferences and made graphics of course automatic switching is turned off, rebooted, and it always comes up with the same error starting. What can I do to run the CC 2015? I'm fine with moving permanently to CC 2015 so I can't get CS6 once again, but I had rather not step back with CS5 if I can understand this problem

  I am facing the following problem when trying to boot PXE Vmware Vsphere (ESX 4.0). I'm stuck at the error message which said 'no cos NICS found' Please find attached to this screenshot.

  I would like to briefly on what I'm trying to do here:

  I try to perform a boot PXE Vmware Vsphere on Vmware Workstation and have managed to a point, until I get this weird error mentioned above.

  (1) used Vmware Workstation version is 6.5.0

  (2) confg H/W:

  Lenovo T61 laptop computer with processor intel core duo x 86 and virtualization enabled in BIOS

  delivered with 2 physical network cards & wireless and 2 GB of RAM.

  (3) PXE server is running on RHEL5 32 bit platform. I have a DHCP, Kickstart and PXE server to run out of this box. DHCP works perfectly well without any problem but when it is a step for the identification of the host name.

  IP and so forth he said cos NICs not found and I see my dhcp server attempts to assign dynamic IP and it also displays no signal thank you.

  I have PXE starts ESX 3.5 with no problems and it worked like a charm. This is the first time, I ran into problems of this kind. I manually installed ESX 4.0 but it seems no more using the anaconda Installer and

  Hi I need help. I'm completely new to Mac. I have two Power MAC G4, an assembled in Ireland = Y and the other Singapore = Z, but inside, the components are different.  I have two HDD, drive HARD-A = OS X 10.3.1 (7 C 107) and the other a HDD - B = BONE Z1 - 9.2.2. The two hard drive HDD - A / B boots in computing Y but only drive HDD - B actually starts in computer Z. When I placed the HARD-B disc in computer Z, says MAC OS ROM 10.2.1.

  I would be grateful if someone could explain to me how do the boots with HDD - A computer, which are that I really need. HDD - Is a software that control a CNC machine.

  PowerMac G4s internal hard drives are usually the parallel ATA IDE drives, with a particular rider (a tooth two pins plastic that snaps on the two pins next to the port of the interface in the diagram shown on the sticker from the outside of the hard drive.     If these hard drives are hard drives internal to these two PowerMac G4, you must verify that the two PowerMac G4s are in fact identical in terms of vintage before starting one with the other.   Target disk mode is a tool that allows a PowerMac G4 except the first model to turn into a very expensive external hard drive Firewire with internal drive basically designed to start any installed Mac OS on it.

  Remote Desktop connection supports screens high resolution that can be split over multiple monitors. However, the total resolution across all monitors must be less than 4096 x 2048 pixels. Monitors must have the same resolution. In addition, monitors must be aligned side-by-side.

  We recommend that you reduce the resolution and check the result.

  Note: Total resolution may not exceed more than 4096 x 2048 pixels.
