CS3 Runtime shared library link

I'm new to the runtime shared libraries, so thought someone will see what obvious thing I am doing wrong.

Given:

1 created an Assets.swf with a MovieClip symbol exported with a link name called "Symbole1". "Export for actionScript", "Export for run-time sharing" and "Export in first frame" is checked them all. URL: 'Assets.swf '.

2. created a Movie.swf that matters 'Symbole1' Assets.swf (using the dialog open external library).

3. attached a Document class to Movie.swf containing Movie.as code attached below.

Result: Two compiler errors:

Movie. As, line 9 1046: Type was not found or is not a compilation contant: symbole1
Movie.As, line 9 1180: call to a method may not set symbole1.

Movie.As code:
---------------------------------------------------------------------

I wonder why Adobe allows even the box "Export for runtime sharing" if she does nothing for AS3? This certainly lead me in the rabbit hole hurt trying to get this approach to work.

In any case, I made the changes of code suggested to Movie.as (attached). Box off the 'export for runtime sharing' on symbole1 in Assets.fla. Levied on importation of symbole1 Movie.fla. And, of course, the importation of symbole1 works now. Thank you, kglad.

So in summary, the two points that I missed were:

Each exported symbol must have as a definition of the class associated with a .as file. If this symbol is imported using the AS3 "import" directive.
Ignore the "Export for runtime sharing" mechanism entirely and use the Loader class.

  • Runtime Shared Library - please help

    Hi all

I am very new to Flash, in fact this is my first Flash project and I have self taught myself how to use Flash.

I have designed and created a banner online, I am extremely pleased with the results, although when I try to test my Flash movie, I get a message until it plays, saying my content will not steam, Runtime Shared Library...

Here is a screenshot of the real message I get http://CL.LY/0p1w04153W1Q0k1U2J2W

    Screen Shot 2012-03-14 at 16.45.29.jpg

I tried to navigate to the settings it is said in the message, but I don't really know what I want or what I'm doing.

If someone could be so good as to explain exactly what that means and how to fix?

    Kind regards

    James

    Hi James,

Unless you have a type of animation in your fla to load first few frames you have really to worry about this message.

This is a warning to those who try to spread their SWF and read before SWF animation has completely downloaded. Since it is a banner, it is probably no more then 30 k and so streaming is not a factor.

Simply restore the TLF the default value and ignore this dialog.

Through the dialog advanced settings of the ActionScript 3.0 > Library Path the default link value Runtime shared library (RSL)

and download the .swz with your swf file.

    Kind regards

  • Flash CS5: Runtime Shared Library

    Hello

I'm having a problem editing my flash files. Everything was fine until a few days ago and now all of a sudden I get an error message when I try to post telling me that the file will not publish due to an RSL error. He advises me to change my publish settings as follows:

    • Publication settings
    • AS3's advanced settings
    • Settings of Runtime Shared Library
    • error: text_layout_1.0.0.595.swz for TLF text

I am told that the swf file will not work without a preloader. There are two options: custom preloader and enter the code. I'm inserting animations in a captivate project. If I choose the custom preloader animation does not work in Cp. When I try to insert Cp only recognizes them as being long of 2 images. If I choose the Merge option code it my captivate project go haywire completely.

Any suggestions? Ideas? I'm pretty much only to learn how to use the tools of creation and has a deadline looms for this project in a few weeks.

    Thanks for any help!

    Maedhbh

    (a) must you TLF text?

Merging the SWZ in the code makes sense for your needs, what happens exactly in captivate with her?

Remember that Captivate 4 was released before the CS5, so I would say that there could be some errors or workarounds in the mix of these two.

You can check the captivate forums, if anyone there similar known.

  • Align problem fonts when they are imported from runtime shared library

    Hello

I'm faced with a problem of police on the CC Flash and Flash 2014 version.

    I'm on PC, Windows 7.

I have a first Flash using AS3 file, named lib_font.fla. In this first file, I have 5 symbols of fonts in the library:

    -all fonts are properly integrated.

-all fonts are exported for runtime sharing

-When I publish lib_font.swf, all right, the texts are displayed correctly

    bug_flash_font_lib.jpg

I now have a second Flash scene, which imports just 5 fonts to lib_font.swf.

On the main timeline, I simply put 5 different textFields:

-> linked to the 5 different imported fonts.

-> with a font size of 23 pts

-> When I publish my swf 4 textFields will police base poorly aligned/shifted.

I added the ascent of text to the text value to see what has been returned:

    bug_flash_font.jpg

    You can note that:

-> for all textfields buggy, rise of the text values will be '36.8'.

-> for work textfield, text ascension is 21.95

Now, if I simply remove the import for the fonts option listen to, the base line of text will be displayed correctly!

    bug_flash_font2.jpg

It is not because of the police itself or incorporation options. Import for runtime sharing really breaks the behavior of fonts.

    Is there a solution?

I finally found what was wrong with that!
In fact, I had another swf which was exporting these fonts for TIME sharing, under the same URL.
There was a kind of silence conflict between them.

Only builds "Milestone" should have signed to RSL. The stable and nightly versions have not signed RSL. All signed RSL you might find in an Add ons download "Adobe" is there by mistake and should be ignored.

  • Runtime sharing URL in CC Flash is empty

I do not know if everyone knows this, but it is seriously hinder our workflow:

    (1) we create a FLA that contains a bunch of components and graphics on the stage, with all that in the library of the export for DURATION value sharing project with unique names. We title the exported swf lib.swf.

    (2) we create a new FLA project and import a number of these files in the library in our new library.

    (3) I do a right-click on one of them and go to its properties and that it is checked Import for run-time sharing, but the URL is empty.

    (4) I enter lib.swf URL and click OK.

    (5) when I click with the right button on it and distributed to its properties, I see that once more it is checked as an import for the sharing of life, but the URL is empty.

Sometimes I can compile even despite this, but usually I'm running an error in compilation where Flash tells me that there is no definition available for one of my Articles of imported library.

This needs a fix, as soon as possible.

    Andres

I had the same problem and found that if I set an absolute path or relative in the properties of the symbol, Runtime Shared Library, URL field, then the URL of the import has been postponed in the other document and everything worked properly. But if you put a simple file name in the URL field he does not get delayed and having the problem you describe.

  • Is Linux - possible to build a shared library that calls other libraries shared without having to make a static link to them?

    Hello

Operating system = Linux (Ubuntu 14.04 LTS 32-bit)

I am building a shared library *. so.  This *.so should be used by LabVIEW.  This *.so is calling other functions in shared libraries.  In my case, the other library share is libxml2 and libz.  The only way I could compile my shared library and operate was a static link from libxml2.a and libz.a.  Is there a way to make a dynamic link?

Here's the makefile file that I use.  The goal of 'TestValidateSchema' compiles the shared without the static link library and this shared library is called by an application to test 'c' and it works.  Now, to make it work in LabVIEW, I need to make a static link, as you can see in the target ' install: «otherwise the function "call library node" throws me a symbol unresolve...»»

This is the only way to do it and if yes why?

    Thank you

    --------------------------------------

In addition to what said Daniel on the specification of an external shared library in the liaison stage of your version of the shared library, together with the - shared option, there is still one thing to consider:

Your library of hello.so then contains references to functions in external shared libraries libxml.so and zlib.so. When LabVIEW calls dlopen ("/ path/dir/hello.so",...) it basically hands of any control in the linker Linux running, ld.so that takes care of the rest. LD.so then try to load the shared library, recognizing that there are external references and try to solve.

First he tries to match the missing external references to any symbols that have been previously loaded into the current process already. If this is not successful for a particular system, it queries the ldcache for a library and a symbol. ldcache is updated with the ldconfig program. When you add a new shared library on the system that you want the linker ld.so runtime in order to find, run ldconfig.

NOTE: Running ldconfig is not normally necessary to shared libraries that access you directly via the node call library, as you specify here the full access to your custom library shared already, so path ld.so will fail immediately if it is not the library specified in the given absolute position and will not attempt to query ldcache at all.

If you are installing packages through your package manager platform update ldcache for all publicly accessible libraries shared in these packages is usually done automatically for you as part of the package installation script. If however you manually install the libraries you need to run ldconfig yourself. In your case, you could add the libxml.so and/usr/lib zlib.so and simply run ldconfig from the command-line as it default search/lib and/usr/lib for libraries shared and rebuilt the ldcache from that. If you add your new libraries in a different directory on your computer you need to run ldconfig with - n option, saying what directory the new shared libraries have been installed.

    Hi Julian,.

GCC is a compiler C and C++ under Linux.  A simple way to check if it is installed is to open a terminal and type 'gcc', if the command is recognized then the package is already installed, and the problem must lie elsewhere.  If this slot of Linux has a package manager, then it must be posted in here also.  If not then it could point to him being not installed or missing a dependency makes not accessible from the command line.  Here is a link that should hopefully scroll you through installation of gcc with Redhat: http://www.cyberciti.biz/faq/centos-linux-install-gcc-c-c-compiler/ .

  • When you call a function in a shared library, are copied locally settings?

I have a shared library with a function which the header is:

    void __cdecl nextevent (double entry [], int32_t len);

When it is called it sends the values in [entry] to the input control:

This vi is compiled into a DLL that uses the header above.

Now, my question is: which of these operations is good:

    1. the input control is a reference to the entry in array [], no value is copied.

    2. the values of the Input [] array are copied into the input control, the local copy is used by the vi, then the values of the local copy is deleted/trimmed.

It seems reasonable that 1 is good, but I can't be sure, and I see no way to check.

For this particular case, option 2 is valid. The reason is that the tables of LabVIEW are not just pointers to a memory location but the handles. And there is no legal way to create valid LabVIEW handles of a runtime C allocated memory pointer. If LabVIEW transforms the table pointer entering a handle which is basically nothing else that allocate the handle with a sufficient size to contain all the data in the table and then copy the data from the table pointer in this handle. After the call, the handle is properly released.

I ran your situation in R & D, and the problem seems to be as a result of Advanced Signal Processing Toolkit is not not compatible on the x 64 under Linux RT OS in the 9030.  The product page could be clearer on this gap.  I am currently a web application to get this fixed!

  • myRIO can't find my shared library .so

    Hi all

I have developed a shared .so library to run on a device myRIO. I moved my shared library for the path/usr/lib of the myRIO. When I run the .VI I get this error:

Deployment RT.viRT.vi loaded with errors on the target and was closed.
LabVIEW: Unable to load the shared library libsolve.so:solve:C. make sure that the library is present on the target of RT. Either MAX allows you to install software from OR or FTP to transfer custom RT target libraries.

Any idea? I reinstalled the software on the myRIO but I still have this error (I comproved if the shared library is on the right track with filezilla and Eclipse).

    Thanks in advance

Well lets try a little more detailed explanation:

Firstly the soname parameter is a parameter of time to compile/link in the project of the shared library. I don't have a computer with a handy Eclipse installation but it's somewhere in the additional indicators in probably the settings of the linker where to a shared library named libfoo.so.1.3.6 add something like:

    -Wl,-soname,libfoo.so.1

You would then copy the shared library resulting on the linux system.

    cp libfoo.* /usr/local/lib

After that, you must do a few extra things:

    (1) change the access rights for the file, otherwise ldconfig may not recognize it as an executable file and simply ignore it:

  • shared library problem MathScript

I have a shared library of labview created in labview 8.2.1.  This labview dll contains a three functions, having to turn a number of mathscript embeded nodes inside of them.  The reason for their compilation in a shared library dll is because I want to call this dll of labview 7.0.  I have a test program of work created in labview 8.2.1 and labview 7.0.

The problem I had is that these executables both run ok on my machine development, but when I move them to another machine with only the installed runtimes (7.0 and 8.2.1) labview dll function calls fail to do anything.  No errors appear, so it is very difficult to find where the problem occurs.    I have two different dll called in the example program.  The first dll just manages the file access and has not all the mathscript in bits, but the second, which is the one that I'm really interested in, has the mathscript node.  The memory usage in looking, I see it's the appeal of the file access dll but do not do the mathscript one.

I have installed an evaluation version of labview 8.2.1 on this laptop with only the runtime, run the program and it works fine.  I think there must be something not in the dll but I don't see anything in the options to add something.  I have the mathscript check box selected in the build option.

I know there are a number of functions that do not work with just running, but I'm not all there that use my program.

    Does anyone have advice?

OK, I found the solution to my problem.  It was a problem with the version of the runtime that I used.  Labview CDs development is only a partial performance and include all of the files to run applications full (time to install it on his own).  Go to the website of national instruments, there is a period of standard edition which includes everything you need.  Download and install this version seem to have solved the problem.

I developed a native extension WebWorks that works very well on Simulator and devices when included in a webworks app.

Since a large part of the code is reusable, I decided to create a shared library of BlackBerry, so I can reuse in other projects. When I include the NEW shared library in the waterfalls and then everything works well, as before.

When I include it in the extension WebWorks it draws very well. The .so file size was much smaller and that worried me (I suspected that the shared library was not included in there). But since its construction very well I went trying to run my application webworks. When it came to hitting the extension I got a ' need of error. Cannot find the library of blah/blah/...so'.

I had this before and found out that it was because the dependent QT libraries have not been correctly referenced. It so that the shared library is not properly referenced/copied /-thing... This event is supported? For example, by using a custom in a WebWorks extension shared library?

  • How to deploy taskflow as shared library and register as a producer of portlet

    Dear all,

I have a taskflow using some popup dialog boxes to get feedback from users.

I noticed that when I have this deployment as a portlet and then I created a page and then unmold the portlet
in this document, I note that the popup is only inside the iFrame portlet. Not sure but I think it's normal.

Research on the forum, they say it is better to deploy as a library shared on the webcenter spaces so that
the popup not be limited on the iFrame portlet but rather to be displayed in the window of webcenter together.

But I don't know how can I deploy this taskflow as a shared library and then save it as a portlet on my groupspace producer?
Googled around, but can't find a good resource on how to do it.

    Sorry for my newbie question...

    Thank you.

Yes, you add the taskflow via the mode of the composer.
