CS4 - Clip Notes Export - streaming option

Someone wants to save me a little time experimenting and enter in the details a little one that is available in the manual? Of course, there is the promise of 10 points in there for you.

If I choose file/export/adobe clip notes, in the tab clip notes also choose 'stream' and then check FTP in the other tab with all relevant information, including the remote directory and return in the clip notes Panel, use the ftp address for the url parameter - here's where I'm starting to get confused. Is the url parameter must include the path to the remote directory? What I need to download a coded version of my sequence manaully to this direcory or Media encode that download automatically? I watched some video tutorials and read the manual but have no real experience in it and I'd love to start using this feature with a customer, I work now with.

TIA

Edit - nope did not. I know that the manual mentions that the ftp server must also be a webserver. iDisk is a web server. I also tried just pointing to the file - with the pooling, which is probably not necessary - providing of course I the right path of the url - did not work. Might be the way I type. http://www.me.com/iDisk/my user name name/movies/the file

The work around I am going to use pending is the option Add and manually download this larger size file on the ftp. Then when they save it will send the smaller .xfdf file to me and I just import it.

What is a little weird, it's that Adobe didn't use the flash as a method of encoding of this file of clip notes. The .flv is of the same size for the specific file that I am using as a test looks much nicer that the other .wmv or .mov Adobe has flash right?

Are you talking about the FTP upload feature here? Because it MUST be a good FTP server so that the FTP upload to work. In other words, if your site is http://www.mysite.com, you need FTP access to ftp://ftp.mysite.com. Now, ClipNotes isn't access to son via FTP, it access files via HTTP streaming, so whenever the file is hosted on the Internet, it must be accessible via the HTTP protocol. I imagine that your iDisk (what is the Mac thing?) would probably work to HOST the file, but you will have to find another way to download video encoded at this host. There are probably some sort on the web front-end for iDisk, instead of having FTP access as a host would provide generally.

Long story short: you don't have to use the FTP upload integrated in SOUL order to use Clip Notes. You must set the URL of the video downloaded correctly, but the video doesn't have to be downloaded by TEA so that Clip Notes work. The file will be encoded and saved locally, whenever you choose, and you can manually download the encoded video later. This is how I imagine you would have to use the accommodation / iDisk space.

Does this make any sense?

I have often wondered why Adobe opt for Flash in Clip Notes, and the only thing that I can arrive at is that the Flash video container file does not provide for enough precise. Flash video tends to jump into specific key images, making navigation (and therefore, comment via Clip Notes) challenging, if not impossible. I guess it's conceivable that they will work something out in a future revision of the Clip Notes, but this is just wishful thinking.

  • Clip Notes in CS4/Acrobat 9: transcript, no controls for QuickTime export

When I use the function to transcribe and then export my project to Clip Notes, it exports every word transcribed in a separate comment. It doesn't seem to be a means of repression that and it doesn't seem to be a way to remove a transcript in PP or Acrobat format. The result is that the reviewer sees all these comments and that he struggles with Acrobat to insert new comments. When I import the xfdf in PP, I get the filled transcription in markers as well as comments from the assessor. Unless I opened to everyone, I can't tell what are the components.

Is there at least a way of removing the transcript in PP or Acrobat?

Also, if I export QuickTime video, there is no player control in Acrobat. I don't get the player controls if I export as Windows Media. This means that some Mac users will not be able to use my Clip Notes export. I've seen others ask about it, but not answers. Any ideas? I'm running it under Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.

But I find it amazing that there is no way to remove this shit. Adobe has made a big deal of the transcript, but it seems that they have not consider it as more than a gimmick, as they did half cooked. I think you are right that it is better not to use this 'feature '.

I don't know if it's necessarily demi-cuite, as long as it's an overly optimistic assessment of the ability of technology at this time. I mean, he creates words and sometimes very interesting to those who

What is interesting to me, is that when I tested the function of transcribed at the time where Adobe has released the beta version of Soundbooth CS4, it was MUCH more accurate - and I examined him on the joint, final a Betacam SP absorbed documentary soundtrack. The transcript is not anywhere near 100%, but it is actually usable. Now, he struggles on audio virgins of a simple and clear voice track. Wish it wasn't so...

Anyway, you can stop the transcript appeared in a Clip Notes export. Look at the following screenshot for the how-to:

  • Clip Notes in CS4: questions about streaming

I used the Clip Notes before by small embedded files, but it's my first time with a great video that I want to play on a server. Maybe someone can answer a few questions:

    1. Where should I name the movie file? The export dialog box only has a place name of the PDF file.
    2. How does the URL parameter? The documentation simply says "This is where your video file", but that is putting the cart before the horse. How can I specify the name and location of a film that has not yet been created and for which I have no control over the name? The FTP feature works very well, but it is for download only, not naming.
    3. After the film export and PDF, is there a way to re - generate the PDF without having to re - export the movie? I realized that I wanted to make a few changes to the PDF only (like the instructions and URL), and export another film will take time, which is not necessary.
    4. I learned here earlier that only the QuickTime option will give the player controls. But a large .mov requres a streaming server, I do not have. The .wmv option has the opposite problem. Does anyone know a workaround (or another method entirely) solution which will use Flash video? FLV or F4V will make a progressive download with sizes of small file for online viewing.

Where should I name the movie file? The export dialog box only has a place name of the PDF file.

The name you assign to the PDF is also attributed in the exported movie file, whether you use QT or WMV. So, if you set the name of the PDF file in the settings of export to "clipnotes.pdf", the video will be "clipnotes.mov" or "clipnotes.wmv", according to the format of your choice.

How does the URL parameter? The documentation simply says "This is where your video file", but that is putting the cart before the horse. How can I specify the name and location of a film that has not yet been created and for which I have no control over the name? The FTP feature works very well, but it is for download only, not naming.

See above. Since you now know what will be the name of the file, you just decide where the file will be resident on your server, and this entry in the URL field. The example above, you use would be something like "http://www.mysite.com/upload/clipnotes.mov". This is a full URL, with the "http://" necessary; Just change the relevant details.

After the film export and PDF, is there a way to re - generate the PDF without having to re - export the movie? I realized that I wanted to make a few changes to the PDF only (like the instructions and URL), and export another film will take time, which is not necessary.

Maybe, but I have not tested this:

    1. Basket of the original PDF file.
    2. Temporarily rename your video file originally exported, or move it to a different folder, so that it is not replaced.
    3. Set your scope to export an image, using the same settings and the same name as you did for your first export, then restart the export.
    4. Throw new movie file and rename the original or bring it back to its original folder. The only link the PDF has to the film being the URL and the file name, file it should work.

I don't think you need a streaming server; I tested QuickTime from a server HTTP ol ' ordinary and it works very well. By the way, I should add, QuickTime streaming didn't work for me, at all. I just tried it out, and it seems that a recent update to Adobe Reader may have solved the problem. WMV streaming always worked well. Curious.

The extent of the Flash: are you talking about using Flash Video in ClipNotes or simply Flash video display online, in general? At that time, ClipNotes is QuickTime or WMV only, but I wouldn't be surprised if Flash Video makes an appearance in ClipNotes CS5, given the emphasis on Flash in the ecosystem of Adobe. If you're talking about general reading FLV, discover the JW FLV Media Player. It's a pretty simple to configure Flash Video player that can be embedded in a Web page.

  • 4.0 ai2: wish that the export for not writing tool option date in the output of export file

    Hello

The new export feature Cart in 4.0 that can be run as a command of sdcli is a very popular feature

As an improvement, I would like to see an option in the export tool where it is possible to choose whether the date should be

written in the file result of export or not. Currently, it is always written in the output of export file.

Why I don't want a line whose date is when you create one or more result export files, using the

function directly in a directory of the source code management, for example a SubVersion directory, the export of the basket sdcli

will be almost always indicated as changed because of the line with the date, even if the exported data are unchanged.

Would it not possible to add such export tool option for the new version 4.0 of SQL Developer?

    With sincere friendships.

    Christian

There is now a preference to determine the behavior of date. This just missed getting into ai2 but will be there in the next EA.

  • Action Wizard: options when saving PDF are not exported

    Hi all.

I recently stumbled on something that my colleagues and I are confused of: we created some actions in Acrobat (Windows 7, Version (classic) 2015 2015.006.30060) DC and the last step in these actions is 'save the document. One who creates action games all the optimizings in the save pdf dialogue and is forced to save these settings - a dialog box appears to provide a name.

This definition is not exported when you export all the action it is not exportable in the dialogue when you change the setting.

How can we share these settings in our society without to set it manually on each computer?

    Any suggestions are welcome

    Best

    Dietmar

Do you mean that you want to copy custom PDF Optimization settings, you have saved on another computer?

If so, you should find them in this folder:

    C:\Users\\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Acrobat\\Preferences\PDF Optimizer

  • Missing camera problem - cannot export (share options greyed out)

    I'm under El Capitan 10.11.3

    10.2.3 FCPX

    I7 MacBook retina (2012)

    8 GB RAM

I worked on my calendar, creating several minutes of content.  In the background as well as media files import and transcoding, I noticed that all my stock options were grayed out.  I learned that I stumbled upon import of problems due to the lack of space on my external hard drive as they are for most of the 4K files.  I understand that when you work with 4K you can work, but you must wait until all transcoding of files before exporting a show.

I also made the mistake to rename some of the clips in the bin case after being placed on the timeline (I think this might be part of my problem).

This combination of import to a drive with enough space to allow the final transcoding with name change has created a lot of clips of CAMERA MISSING - so NO the ability to share.

I bought a larger capacity drive and copied all the files in the new storage of 2 TB.

One - I do an import/reimportation of camera/player.  (in some cases if it does not work - I am again an import - then try to link)

I am finally able to exit then restart and see FCPX that my changes TAKE so I think I'm on the right track.  Sharing options are grayed out still, but I think that once all are properly reassociated on the timeline, I should be ok - right?

    Here are my questions:

Why not see problems with my events (no yellow warning sign) everything seems fine - I can change but can not export?  Sharing options are still grayed out?

Then if I stop/restart FCPX - all yellow and Red warnings lack of cameras back.  I thought I solved the problem, but sometimes getting rid of missing camera is a big chore.  I'm on the right track?

Thank you very much for your help!

It is important to allow the import of the whole process independently of the clips - not only 4 K resolution. And part of this process is transcoding if you choose optimize. So I think you're on the right track - you have files with incomplete optimized versions. Suggest that you select your clips in the browser, right-click > transcode media and create optimized media. Open the window of background tasks and monitor if transcoding is started and if it ends.

Post back and let us know whether or not exporters continues to be a problem.

  • CS4 do not recognize Canon HF G10

I have been using PP CS4 for a couple of years to capture clips shot with my Canon HDV.  Recently, I bought a Canon HF G10, but I can't capture directly from the camera in CS4.  My computer recognizes the camera (as shown in Device Manager) but CS4 does not recognize it is a camera attached when I open the Capture window.  HF G10 can export via USB or HDMI but no IEEE1394 (Firewire).  Is CS4 limited in order to grasp only via Firewire?  I can copy the flies as .mts to disk and then import them to CS4 but I lose the ability to divide the camera feed into clips and omit the parts that I capture.  Also, as noted in another post, imported .mts files seem to have occasional stuttering randomly during playback.  Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

    Thank you

    Bill

You cannot ingest AVCHD (your new camera) in the same way as Capture HDV (your old appliance), nor with CS5.5. Its a whole new/different technology and it has nothing to do with the first not being able to manipulate the camera.

I fear you will learn and live with it.

I just uploaded a clip of mpeg streams but tells me I can't use it without a mpeg-2 Playback component.  Can you recommend what to buy?

You can use Streamclip for most cases, but to play MPEG-2 files, like. VOB files, and to convert them to other formats, you should buy the reading component QuickTime MPEG-2 for Mac OSX, you can get online from the Apple Store for $19.99.

However, I am under El Capitan like you, and when I tried to install the MPEG-2 component, I got a message that it could not be installed on my

disk because the app was for an earlier version of my OS.  I don't know if others have had this problem, but I thought that I could

mention it to you before you passed the $20.00.

  • ColorSync does not export png or jpg tiff after update to iOS 10.11.3

    Using ColorSync:

Completed the update to iOS 10.11.3 yesterday, but acknowledged that, after the update, I have one more no *.tiff export *.jpg or *.png files.

Many options for export has disappeared, that shouldn't be a problem, because the format png and jpg still appear in the list of options. But once I chose one of them I get an error if the name of the original file and the name of the export file are the same.

    Example:

Open hearst.tiff in ColorSync and choose Save as.

In the menu next, I clicked on "hearst" to use the name, but now I said "could not export the document.

Looks like it was already possible to choose a file name by clicking on a file without actually replacing the existing, if the file type has been changed.

What do you mean "using ColorSync"? Do you mean "color synchronization utility?

Why would you use to convert an image file to another format? Preview is the default application for this.

Utility color synchronization is not an image editor; It is intended to manage color profiles to ensure accurate reproduction of colors on different screens.

  • Windows Vista mail program does not export the files all contacts

After I exported my contacts from e-mail in vcf format windows in a new folder on my desktop, I noticed that NOT all contracts are present in the new folder.   If the contents of the folder, I show the long side windows messaging contacts which I exported the contacts I see some (to be precise, 256) are missing in the new folder. I exported 3 times, each time in a new folder and get the same results. I see that some of the missing files are group folders (apparently Windows Mail does not export to group files in vcf format) but the other files are simply not in the contents of the desktop folder.

How can I get all the files AND folders in groups to export correctly?

I was going to say that if you were interested in the migration of these contacts to another Vista computer, you can simply copy the file C:\Users\username\Contacts to your USB and then copy it to the other computer. Which retains all the attributes, including groups.

For any other use, you're stuck fairly well with help of VCF or CSV format to export/import. Sorry, I have no idea why so many contacts are missing when you did.

There is another method (roundabout). Install the free Windows Live Mail program, which will automatically import all contacts from Windows Mail. Be sure to select the option Live ID when prompted by the installer of Windows Live Mail. Therefore, you can keep all your contacts in perfect sync with other computers running Windows Live Mail, and you also have access to the contacts on any computer connected to the Internet by simply go tohttp://contacts.live.com and sign in with the same Live ID.

I want to export my contacts to a USB key that I can take with me and be able to view them on any other PC. I have already established that if I save as the original file extension IE .contact ,, I'm NOT able to view on a computer that is running the Win XP operating system because who uses the email program Outlook Express and the file extension is .wab. I have not yet tried view the contacts vcf on Win7, but as I understand it, I should be able to view the contacts to vcf on that too.  My problem is that I'm missing 256 contacts after I export . I understand that windows Mail export NO groups, but there are only 9 groups from my list of contacts. WHY other contacts don't get exported? I'm doing something wrong and if so, what?

  • Animate the will not export to a movie file?

Animate the will not export to a movie file? It will only give me still image options: jpeg, tiff, etc.

I tried to install Flash Pro CS6 (because I know that I can export to a Quicktime Movie file_), but there is no option to do so in the creative clouds?

Why I can't download Flash Pro CS6 creative cloud?, or why is there not an option to export to Quicktime of Animate movie file?

    best regards, Graham

In CS6, you would use an export of the video options to get a video file. In CC versions and animate, there is a dedicated video export option. Use that, it's much better than the film export CS6 method.
