  in earlier versions of photoshop, when I dragged a document in its own window, he would remain on top of everything else on my workspace unless I reduced to a minimum, even if I was working on another document in the main photoshop window. in photoshop cc this feature seems to have disappeared and my documents keep disappearing obnoxiously behind my largest photoshop workspace if I click away from them.   As far as I know, what your description only works in photoshop on a windows operating system, not on mac os.

  The question in that I'm running does not appear very often so I thought I would go and ask away. I use Photoshop CS4 (64 bit) and when I open an image in Camera Raw, I see perfect photos as they are. By bringing the file in the workspace, however, they are immediately covered in a blue tint which makes editing VERY boring photos. I used Photoshop on this laptop for a few years and never encountered a problem like this. My screen has been calibrated using the calibration tests integrated into Windows 7. Recently, I had to reinstall my programs Adobe After buying a new internal hard drive. This means that I had a clean slate before installing Photoshop. I had to reinstall Windows itself and when buying, my laptop came with some pre-installed Dell software.

  If only there was a Dell program that handled my colors? Photoshop seems to be the only one affected program, and it is ONLY in the workspace in particular, it has so well there have a problem program. I am a student in a photography class, so any advice would be helpful! Thank you!

  

  Yes, it's a question of color management. Most likely your pre-installed software used a setting or a specific color profile. Check your evidence and your system color management settings.

  In the toolbar at the top of the screen in Photoshop CS4, there is an icon called "Organize Documents".  One of the functions of this tool is to arrange two pictures side by side in Photoshop.

  I found, by chance, that the workspacesPreLoad event fires in CS5 - but not while that run from inside of Extendscript Toolkit.  If you run your script in the startup scripts - it fires.  As you say, it worked from the OEE in CS4, seems maybe need to now put the definition of the .debug $.
