  Two problems, who defeated me.

  First, I have a new Canon EOS 500 d and need to download the recent (July 2010) CS5 Camera Raw update. However, both of my computers freeze when I move from Adobe's Support web page to the download web page.  Is this a known issue? What do about it? I use CS 5 on a computer Windows XP 2007.

  Your second question:

  In Bridge, click Edit > Preferences > file type Associations.  Scroll through the list to find the types of files you want to edit in Photoshop, click on the arrow down.  Click Browse and navigate to Program Files > Adobe > Photoshop and select Photoshop.exe.  (I'm looking at an older version of PS as I type this, but you get the idea... I hope so).

  Looks like you have downloaded files with an older version of Nikon Transfer.

  During this time, you should update your Nikon software, or use Adobe Photodownloader instead.

  This can occur, run a maintenance program that erases your system cache and things should be fine.

  Also, check and make sure that it actually settle.

  I am trying to import RAW + JPEG images of my new Canon EOS 80 d in Photos. When I try to choose images-> use BRUTE as the original , I get the following error message:

  Cannot switch Original.

  Pictures cannot move to the original because the RAW is not supported.

  I wonder now if the current version of Digital Camera RAW Compatibility Update includes the 80 d EOS, and if not, when it will be updated.

  My version of Photos is:

  Version 1.5 (370.42.0)

  To try to correct the problem, to completely reinstall your OS Mac El Capitan using stored on your Mac OS X Recovery boot disk recovery system.   It will take a few minutes, but he's going to reinstall a new copy of the El Cap OS with all latest updates.

  I get the error below when I try to update. The link the Customer Service sends me into a nightmare do-circular loop structure that only had landed me on this list as my last resort. I tried workaround installing the Camera Raw format file, but my directory structure is not as described on the Web site and it does not open my files from Canon. I uninstalled and reinstalled and still the same error. I use a fraction of the capacity of the PS and am pretty angry right now. "Customer service" Adobe means that I have not my software, but the website shows that I've owned CS4, CS5 and leaves me not to enter the serial number of version 7.0, that everything I bought from Adobe. My next effort will be to completely uninstall the Photoshop and waive goodbye to Adobe the finger and your creative cloud costs for losing far too many hours of my time just so I can Dodge and crop a photo of the damned. • Updated Camera Raw from Adobe messed up photos in Bridge Downloader

  Hi all

  I guess it's a Photoshop, Bridge, question of Adobe Camera Raw (ACR).  I've recently upgraded to ACR to 9.0.0.14 v. using the web.  That seemed to go OK, but now when I use the tool to upload photo to the bridge there are a few problems.  First of all, I can't see the thumbnails in the Downloader; and second, select convert to DNG is grayed out.  These problems in the download tool would have something to do with my recent upgrade to ACR?  Or I'm just something stupid?

  I use CS6 on a Mac Mini (mid 2011) with OS X 10.10.3.

  Bridge of 5.0.2.4.

  PS c. 13.0.6 x 64 extended

  I wonder if that solution works only if you have installed more bridge Bridge CS6 CC.

  I say this because I just tried it on a mac os x 10.8.5 system only photoshop cs6 and bridge CS6 update to camera raw 9 and got the same results as you.

  My mac os x 10.10.3 system has photoshop 2014.2.2 cc and cc and more photoshop cs6 and cs6 upgrade camera raw bridge 9 and the solution adobe KB only works bridge.

  You could ask more about it in the camera raw forum, where a member of the adobe staff seems to reply to messages.

• CS6 Camera Raw not updated

  I am just crossing the CS6 platform (from cs5 after doing an adobe cleaner) in windows XP in order to give it a try before I update my laptop at the end of the summer. My new hardware of the camera is a Nikon D3200. I installed CS6 trial and fully updated via the adobe application manager.

  When I try to open the D3200 Raw files I get a dialog box saying "Camera Raw can't open this file" and ordered to update me. When I go into file > update the update is grayed out, as he is not able to be selected.

  When I open a JPG file in adobe Camera Raw it shows at the top of the version 7.0.

  I downloaded the latest DNG that is compatible with Windows XP SP3, which is 8.3, and I keep getting error messages indicating

  And then Adobe Application Manager appears upwards saying "Failed update - updates cannot be applied" with this explanation

  I just bought Nikon d810. I have CS5. All updates are up to date and I downloaded Camera Raw 8.7.1 but Photoshop/bridge still cannot read NEF files. What I am doing wrong?

  The last Camera Raw for CS5 is 6.7. Only Photoshop CS6 can take 8.7.1.

  You need the DNG Converter to change the Nikon RAW in dmg format in order to open it in CS5.

The camera raw is the last usable for Windows Update, canon 6 d is listed as compatible. Someone at - there idea has what to do?

  Canon 6 d id NOT taken in charge by ACR 6.7.1. He was supported for the first time in ACR 7.3 requiring CS6 to run.

  

  Therefore, you will never be able to open the 6 d directly CR2 raw files in CS5.

  If you don't plan on upgrading, you can download the Adobe DNG Converter 8.3 free and autonomous (always use the latest version, it is not related to your version of Photoshop in all), install it like any other application, then run it on each batch of CR2 files to convert them into files DNG raw that you can then open in your version of Photoshop and ACR.
