  Your second question:

  In Bridge, click Edit > Preferences > file type Associations.  Scroll through the list to find the types of files you want to edit in Photoshop, click on the arrow down.  Click Browse and navigate to Program Files > Adobe > Photoshop and select Photoshop.exe.  (I'm looking at an older version of PS as I type this, but you get the idea... I hope so).

  Camera raw cannot be updated separately in contrast to Photoshop Lightroom.

  You need to update Lightroom for help > updates

  You can refer to the devices supported by Camera Raw

  If your camera is not supported use the free DNG Converter to convert. The RAW files to DNG so that you can import them into Lightroom

  CS5 is several versions back and does not the recent Camera Raw updates in native mode, you can, however, use the converter DNG (Digital Negative) to convert your images to DNG and CS5 format should be able to open those.   You need the DNG Converter to change the Nikon RAW in dmg format in order to open it in CS5.

  I'm trying the update for CS5 6.0.0.205 to camera RAW 6.7 for MAC for canon 5DMark III. I was able to do own another mac but no luck on my new macbppk pro

  When I try in CS5 help-> updates and select camera raw I get "there was an error downloading this update. Please try again later.

  I tried must manually and CS5 does not see the new Camera Raw.

  The problem is the Gatekeeper's default security settings. Because CS5 is released before this feature of OSX, it not signed (not approved) and install is blocked.
