  Installed cumulative KB972260 for IE7 for Windows Vista security update this morning on my laptop Dell running Vista Home Premium 64-bit.  After installation choose reboot and the computer fails to load up.  Changed the restore point to the last use of the 22/07/09 and still have the same problem.  When checking why it breaks down I got a verification of the System Restore Failed error 0 x 490 and also system file integrity check and repair does not = 0 error code x 490.

  I am at a loss?

  If the above fails, try this:

  As is the case with most computers/laptops these days, they do not come with good Vista disc to repair only the recovery disks.

  As your grave in the category above, download the ISO on the provided link and do a repair of the disc.

  Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.

  At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.

  When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.

  You can make a tool to restart system, System Restore, etc. with it.

• USC fails to load after firmware upgrade on PET310

  A former T310 with Perc 6i (not LCD, no iDRAC LAN port) had USC worm. 1.3.0.40. I could not install w2012, so I tried to update the firmware of the USC. I installed the USC worm 1.5.0.29_A00 successfully (twice already), downloaded from DELL by the label of the Server Service.

  After the reboot, choose System Services, USC can not finish loading, only to wait with the message on the screen: entering the System Services... Starting unified Server Configurator.

  In the LOG I found the new pair of messages after FW update: ROMB battery: charge detector, falied emerged. / Sensor batterery, has not been Desassertion.

• Satellite Pro A120 fails to load after upgrade BIOS and XP to Vista

  I have problems to make my laptop to load the Windows operating system. My laptop (no X6062917H series) was purchased in November 2006. I've recently upgraded the operating system to Windows Vista (Toshiba, Promotion) and was later to upgrade the BIOS of Toshiba.

  This was done via the Toshiba site, opting for the upgrade via the Windows option. Since the upgrade of the BIOS, I have used this phone two or three times, and now I can't use it at all.

  When I turn on the laptop now, all I have is a white screen with the arrow cursor. The cursor moves on the screen that I have spend my finger on the touchpad.

  I welcome any advice on getting my laptop to the top and running, my computer knowledge is limited, please make sure it is as easy as possible

  It seems that you are using the Satellite Pro A120, which belongs to the series of PSAC1E.

  It seems that the laptop can boot the operating system because the arrow cursor appears on the screen.

  Have you tried to connect the laptop to the external monitor to check if you can switch the display to another monitor?
  It would be very interesting to know if it s a graphics card problem or the internal display problem

  If you will not be able to see something on the second monitor, I recommend trying to reinstall the operating system.

• ERROR 7026: CONTINUATION OF THE DRIVER (S) FAILED TO LOAD AFTER RESTART

  The event viewer showed this error after startup for 2 or 3 days. The drivers listed are OMCI and NULL. I've been ignoring it causes web search seems to show OMCI is a cost of control tool for IT managers that has to do with the networks... I have only one computer.  My system performance is very good. I went to devices and updated all the drivers. Should I worry about this? I had to do cleans up registry, disk defragmentation, disc chk, associated clean disc trying to get rid of a virus...   This issue may be caused if one of the device driver on your computer is faulty. This is probably due to the graphics card. You should try to reinstall the drivers adpter display in most of the cases it fixed the issue.

• App failed to load after the addition of test devices

  I made a soft, did a dev ipa and installed on my iPad. Worked.

  But now I need to test it on another iPad as well.

  So I deleted the files mob Prov., added the new iPad and a new mob Prov. files.

  But now the app will install more.

  I made a new app ID > did not work

  I tried to do it again with only the original iPad app > even that no longer works.

  What can be the problem?

  Restart your iPad and check out them. Also make sure the UDID match.

  Usually this error is due to certificates or UDID lack of files Mobile start-up.

  Recreate the certificates from scratch with the new app ID (do not use ' * ' in the App ID for example com.company. *). Make sure that you have unchecked iCloud in section ID App.

  Set up your devices (Add UDID and device name of the device in the devices section).

  Recreate App with new certificates.

  Remove old syncd APP in the iPad. Sync and install new .ipa

  We see this issue in one of your environments and only with Composites containing the spring context item. When one of the server in the cluster in SOA has rebounded, composites with the component of spring-context fail to load with the error below. All our composites are independent and no reference to the other. They use Spring-context for some treatment as (JPA to insert into DB, write a file through java code etc.).   Symptoms

  If a compound containing a SPRING component fails to load after rebooting the SOA server in a clustered environment, then you are most likely facing this problem:

  The problem with composites having a BPEL process that uses a SPRING component in the flow. Whenever an adapter incoming or outgoing fails for some reason any and a restart of the server is required, after the reboot, the composite goes into a wait state and has no way to access to I rolled up.

• Sometimes Firefox fails to load my igoogle homepage. It takes usually over after 2-3 reboots. Annoying problem.

  Sometimes, when I boot up and load Firefox, it loads without my igoogle homepage. Occasionally, it will fail to load once I've used Firefox with the igoogle homepage. It's frustrating. Have to reboot several times to get the home page to reload. When the home page is not loaded, it keeps me to use the toolbar to load email and other google tools.

  I used Firefox for years and did not have as many problems with it. When I can not load my homepage on Firefox, I usually go to Chrome or IE and it works fine. This happened for several months.

  Windows fails to load once installed KB2479628, my Dell BIOS boots then the loading loading bar continuously scrolls. After now the power button for 5 seconds and re-start the computer, Startup Repair tries to run and need to use system restore to properly initialize.

  A2. Comodo Internet Security includes an antivirus application. You should NOT have more than one 1 installed anti-virus application & loading at startup. You tell me that you used to have Comodo Internet Security (antivirus, antispyware, firewall) AND AVG Free anti-virus installed at the same time?

• Windows cannot load after a failed update

  Hello

  Last night, I had some windows update. After clicking on the button closure (option 'install updates and shut down' was) logging Windows appeared with a message "Configuring Windows updates 13 1 do not plug off your system" (something like that) but the update was stuck on the 6th floor for several hours and nothing was not happening... .not yet restart, so the frustration, I plugged my PC directly. Next morning, when I restarted my pc... windows could not load, and a text screen with a message similar to this "Windows failed to load. "a recent change hardware or software update could caused this" then give the steps to insert the windows installation disc and restart to repair windows.
  Also, I was unable to restart my pc in any type of safe mode and last known configuration windows proper.
  I have my windows since abt 1 year 2-3 months. and I can't find my Windows Setup disk...
  Can I use any other windows installation disc to repair my windows.
  or please suggest me a way to recover the data store in my pc... all my important information are saved in my pc...

  It is perfectly acceptable to borrow a CD of Windows Vista to perform operations of repair with friends.

  You will not be able to upgrade a "on-site" due to differentiation of service pack.  However, you have several options to fix when you use the CD:

• Rig crashes even after reformatting, heavy registry problems.

  Hello, I am building this computer in Dec 07, and it was working well until recently. I came one day at home in a very annoying virus and decided to just reformat since AVG and such could not find it. After that I managed to do reformat there great for about a week, then I started to have increase the registry errors, files missing, things like that. I tried to correct as I will, but many seem to just keep coming.

  I am now at the point where I can't complete the Windows Update, is now telling me to do it because when it restarts the login screen does not load. I'm that attribute to a facility missed some video drivers. When I will not start I have 5-6 errors in a line saying that various registry files are missing. I tried sfc/scannow, and it fails to end at 52%, as many others. /CHKDSK does not resolve the problem. Run the Vista installation CD and tried all the options such as the Startup Repair and repair memory (forget what it's called). My internal Sata HDD is also detected as removable storage among other issues. I'm running out of ideas as to why it is so bad that my HD or RAM is corrupted somehow. Any comments would be great.

  1. are you able to boot into Windows?

  2. have you made further changes on the computer after reformatting the hard drive?

  I suggest that you scan and remove any viruses or computer malware infection and check if it helps.

  I tried it on my laptop and it will load BUT after having been undated to 38.05 also failed to load this page.

  Other secure pages (Bank) loading OK

  Works well in Chrome and IE

• All sites https fails to load with an invalid certificate

  I bought a new computer, I freshly installed 14 Firefox on Windows 7 (64-bit) and all https sites fails to load, with various failures of security certificate. Gmail, for example, does not charge for this reason:"accounts.google.com uses an invalid security certificate. The certificate is not reliable because no issuer channel was provided. »... Even after the addition of a manual control. My Bank Web site does not open because the serial number is used on another certificate... etc etc.

  I tried all the most commonly recommended solutions - cert8.db removal uninstall Firefox, creating new profiles, copy on the old PC profile, create a new profile under a new user... Nothing seems to have no effect. I tried Firefox 14 and 15 (beta), charges both installs. I tried to disable my antivirus and firewall (ESET).

  I'm out of ideas. Chrome and IE work without any problem. All other computers on the home network even behind the same router have Firefoxes that work very well.

  What security (firewall, antivirus) software do you have?

  Some security software intercepts them secure connections and sends its own certificate.

  Some examples are ESET and Bitdefender.
