• CS5 reinstall will not move forward

  I had to wipe my hard drive, so now I'm trying to reinstall CS5 in Windows 7. The installer gets as much of "Preparing installation...." "with the blue progress bar.   My hard drive crashed on my computer (replaced by a new one) and I had to reinstall my Adobe CS5 and Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro. All CS5 reinstalled fine. However, whenever I have reinstall Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, it errors every time. It will install, but every time that you open the program, it stops immediately work and mistakes by saying that adobe Acrobat 9.3 has stopped working. Windows cannot find a solution, and then closes.

  It never gives me the chance to enter my product key or register the product. I went to the Adobe product page and tried to download and install all updates, but nothing works. No matter what I do, it closes immediately. Any ideas?

  My PC is Windows 7 - I got first install Acrobat on this PC when I had a year or two ago and it worked fine. Don't know what has changed.

  I just tried to reinstall it - again, it wasn't giving me the possibility to register or something. Closing the minute I opened Acrobat.

  So I opened the Acrobat Distiller who installed with Acrobat and who have been asked to accept the agreement and register the product. Once I did - Acrobat started working again!

  Two Photoshop Extended CS 04:32 bit & 64 bit stopped working with a 131:4 error. who said to restart to solve the problem. After several attempts to restart the computer, I got the same error message.

  I want to first address the problem of Photoshop. How should I proceed?

  Use own writing unified CS3/CS4/CS5, reinstall from scratch. Sorry, but obviously an update failed missed your licensing system and there is no other way to get it back.

  I had to reset my OS for some reason and I wanted to just reinstall my Dreaweaver CS5 and my Photoshop CS5 (do not have the money to buy a newer version yet).

  Seems too easy, because all that I need is available on my account on the Adobe home page.

  ... huh, uh... No, actually.

  The downloaded installer reminds me that I bought version CS3 upgrade (on September 15, 2013) (bought on September 2, 2007) in CS5.
  And then she refuses to go forward for not finding a former Adobe product (which is not surprising on a recently distributed to zero computer). So I changed my plan to install my first Dreamweaver CS3 upgrade there still CS5.

  Good idea, bad timing.

  Impossible to find Dreamweaver CS3 download more.

  So, what can I do now to get my beloved Dreamweaver CS5 (and Photoshop CS5) bought the same day back?

  Any helpful suggestions welcome!

  While the machine runs always, don't forget to disable the software on it before she died.  Otherwise, you will need to contact support by chat and ask that they turn off for you.   To disable, you can just open one of the applications and choose Help-> Deactivate.

  I never heard to be able to deliver a program that is INSTALLED on a disk or drive, then install again

  You must do a fresh install (with serial number) of the original installation media

  My CS5 applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) do start, they cling and freeze my iMac. Photoshop starts almost... it takes forever. This started out of the blue, I haven't changed anything on my system. I force close down. I need to reinstall it, but first I know I need to disable programs.

  My question is: If I can get one of the three to start and turn that off will disable all 3.

  I think that you may need to disable programs independently as they are not tied together. The exception may be if you purchased as a Suite programs rather than individually.

  Regarding getting Photoshop to start, first try to disable third-party plug-ins by holding the SHIFT key when launching Photoshop. The next step could be to reset your Photoshop preferences

  Mac: Press Cmd + Opt + shift then launch Photoshop. A box will appear, asking you if you want to continue with the reset, select 'yes '.

  Win: Press and hold the keys Ctrl + Alt + Shift immediately after the launch of Photoshop starting. A box will appear asking if you want to continue with the reset, select 'yes '. If you don't see this, you're not fast enough... Try again.

  Finally, it might be useful to start your system in safe mode and trying to launch programs.

  Just had 10 Windows reinstalled on my PC so had to reinstall CS5. A ran the updates, but he did not finish them because it requires Adobe Bridge be closed, but it is NOT open! Looked at the Task Manager and confirmed, it does not work. How should I proceed? Very frustrating!

I got a list of updates to do, but they all failed.  When I clicked on the "contact customer service" link on the screen of the failure, I got a page with a message that says "Error during upgrade installation", and further down the page, it says "this serial number is not for a product calling»  I contacted the chat from Adobe, assuming that they needed to reactivate the product, given that I had been unable to turn off the previous version before reinstalling Windows, but the chat agent said I should ask in the forum.   I have no idea what to do at this stage, so any help would be welcome.
