  I'll try later, but I think I may have found the problem. It seems that the cs6 dreamweaver made two files confquration on the same day, but only about 4 hours out. This does not seem normal to me.  Does anyone know why an expensive program like this would do that? Was it a mistake of the operator? I asked the woman who runs this program and she doesn't know anything about the configuration files.   Running DW MX 2004, with the update applied 7.0.1 on a Sony PC with Win XP, DW crashes when opening. I waited as long as 10 minutes to see it each responds, and it doesn't.
  
  I have to CTRL-ALT-DEL and terminate the application. When the re-opening, it opens normally.
  
  Not connected to a network, the site on the local disk C files.
  
  It seems to have started to occur after you apply the 7.0.1 updater.
  
  Someone at - it solutions to this?

  You can try this simple fix-

  Stop DW.

  Find the folder-

  C:\Documents and Settings\\Application Data\Macromedia\Dreamweaver
  8\Configuration\WinFileCache-*.dat
  (these files are normally hidden - you may have to use Explorer > tools >)
  To view the Folder Options)

  and delete it.

  Restart DW. Works better?

• CS6 Dreamweaver crashes when you use Parallels Desktop

  Hello. When I use Dreamweaver CS6 on Mac OS 10.11.6, it crashes a lot. Sometimes, it will be immediately. Sometimes I can use it for a few hours. Do not know what triggers really crash if it saves files, undoing things. It's really random. I have Parallels Desktop 11.2.1 also installed so that I can run Windows on my iMac. I used to run Windows 8.1 and never had any problems with Dreamweaver crashing. When I installed 10 Windows, which seems to be when I started having problems. Not sure if this can even be linked or not. Is there a memory problem Windows 10 is requiring more virtual memory which is causing problems? Or maybe that Dreamweaver has been corrupted somehow?

  How can I contact Support Adobe by phone? He directed me to this forum. I still have the serial for Design & Web Premium key. Can I just download Dreamweaver and then use this key set of the to save so I can uninstall the Dreamweaver I and install again? Which will work? You do not know if this will fix the problem or not, but I thought it would be worth it. Can someone help me? Thank you.

  As John said, CS6 is old software.  But don't give up hope quite yet.

  The first thing to try is to delete the Cache of corrupt in DW.  Make sure that hidden files & folders are in your Mac Finder or Windows Explorer

• Adobe Creative Cloud apps crash when opening files in El Capitan

  I've upgraded to Mac OS 10.11.3 El Capitan. My old Adobe suite CS5 was already summary in the older operating system so I've upgraded to Adobe Creative Cloud 2015 (Photoshop, Illustrator, inDesign, Acrobat, etc.). Illustrator crashes when saving an image that is 'save for web' (Image open/save for web/change to save for web window / click on 'save' / crash). Photoshop crashes when you try to open the document (open Photoshop/Open - either from 'Open' in the home screen or "open" in menu bar/folder window open / click on the folder or file/crash ""). Acrobat opens but crashes after clicking on 'Open', has to be force quit. Dreamweaver does not open. InDesign crashes at unpredictable points of key strokes at first. I have not tried all the applications, but the entire suite CC is unusable. I'm many threads and problems with Apple and Adobe, but can't find the answer.

  That has not helped Bani but thanks for the suggestion. I went on the Chat with Adobe support and up to now have dates back to an apple problem, not Adobe. That the problem does not recur when we open a new user account and allows to open programs. Now I will try to fix my user account and I'll follow up with the results.

• Firefox will not save preferences & crashes when opening files

  Two main issues here, but they can be linked together somehow.

  First Firefox always wonder if I want to contribute to send performance data every time I open the browser. I followed all the advice in the article 'FF won't save my preferences' and vain. I have now uninstalled FF and deleted all traces (Inc. in hidden folders). Now re-installed, it does exactly the same thing and now won't save my homepage either.

  Secondarily, firefox always crashes when I try and import and export bookmarks without fail. Also often crashes when you press a button download, for example gmail attachments files or post image Facebook to file. This has happened for some time and is still, even after wiping everything...

  Try creating a new profile as a test to check whether your profile is the source of the problems.

• Crash when opening files

  Cc Illustrator crashes when I open the no higher a new file, or load a previously worked on. When I start or load a file, do not load the toolbars on my side and Illustrator freezes and crashes on me. It started when I first downloaded the version 19 and nobody else seems to have this problem. I tried updateing and default printer setting up wacom drivers. Those who were too solutions closes, that I could find.

  Illustrator needs a printer. Access to a printer via another computer can cause errors. You can try and install a PDF printer.

  I have a new install of Photoshop CS4 running on Windows 7 in Bootcamp. I have "applied ve updates. The program crashes whenever I try to open a file or start a new one. Any advice would be appreciated.

  It crashes when you expect that it displays the file - open dialog, or when you try to open it in fact?

  If the latter, have you tried to go to Edit - Preferences - Performance and clearing the check box turn on the drawing OpenGL [] (then restart Photoshop)?

• CS6 inDesign crashes when opening

  I was able to open InDesign CS6 without crashing.

  So far, I tried to uninstall/reinstall, checked to make sure that I have all the updates installed, disabled rare fonts, I had downloaded, nothing seems to solve this problem.

  There has been no problem with Illustrator CS6 which I also installed on my computer.

  LabWindows 2013 SP1 has suddenly stopped working on my PC.  Any time I try to open a file, or by clicking Browse on the home page, by clicking the open file icon, or by selecting file - open or file - save as from the main menu, I get the message popup that says ' LabWindows/CVI 2013 has stopped working '.

  These values are always the same.

  I am running Windows 7 Professional, SP 1.

  If you just did a normal installation of CVI 2015, it might still be interesting to try a force reinstall. It is possible that there is a corrupt file of CVI 2013 somewhere.

  Take the information to the same post here, it seems that this issue might be specific to your Windows configuration.

• Applications and programs crash when open file Explorer

  My programs and applications are blocking as soon as I open Explorer file (I use windows 8).  For example, when I go to attach a file to an e-mail, the Web browser crashes.  Also, when I go on ' Save as ' in microsoft office, word/excel crashes too.

  So far, I have:

  -Updated and rebooted

  -virus research (clear)

  -Startup in safe mode - safe mode will not allow not even me open microsoft word, and the problem persists when you use gmail via google chrome

  -re-installed office - no change

  What could I do next?  The computer was perfect up to this problem that began a couple of weeks.

  1. You did changes to the computer before this problem?
  2. You get an error message when the applications or programs crash?

  The question could arise due to corruption in specific applications or due to file system corruption directly affecting the launch programs. In order to diagnose and resolve the issue, I would suggest trying the following methods and check if the problem persists.

  Method 1:

  Run the Troubleshooter of Apps and check if that helps.

  The Apps store is an automated tool that we have developed to deal with a number of known issues that may prevent applications from running correctly. This troubleshooting automatically solves some issues including the suboptimal screen resolution, incorrect security or account etc. settings. If the problem persists, refer to the remaining steps in the help article and check.

  Solve problems with a soft

  If the problem persists, try the following method.

  Method 2:

  Try to run a scan of the file system (CFS) auditor to check corruption of system files in the system. SFC scan will search for system files corrupted on the computer and fix them.

• CC of Photoshop crashes when opening file through ACR.

  I upgraded (05/10/2015) to the last 2015.01 of CC in Photoshop. If I try to open a 60 d Canon raw file (.) CR2) ACR opens. I can make adjustments very well. When I click the button open a picture to go to Photoshop crashes. If I open a Canon 60 d file that was opened before things work very well. ACR allows me to open the file in Photoshop. Save the file as a .png doesn't help either.

• Hearing CC (2014) on Mac crashes when opening files

  I had a problem with hearing CC 2014 edition on my MacBook Pro (running Yosemite 10.10.4 with 16 GB of memory). During the audio podcast edition, I will try to open a file and add to the program using the FILE-> OPEN-> dialogue. This works most of the time, I have problems with the suspended software after opening a window of Finder, but not showing is not the files or folders to allow me to select the file I want to open. This usually results in a command to force out - that works about half time and when he's not, compels me to do a hard reboot of the entire system just to close the hearing.

  Has worked with an Adobe tech rep online last week who took my preferences file and replaced it with an empty folder to reset the preferences on the launch. That worked for a day or two, but the accident happened again last night that I was about to complete several hours of work on the podcast!

  I tried to uninstall hearing and put it back today and so far, the problem has yet to reproduce... but is there something I should be looking for as I have not tried?

  If it's really a block, take a dump of the process activity Monitor.app would be useful.

• CS6 Dreamweaver crashes when inserting... anything

  I have been experience this problem frequently. When I use the Insert menu if the menu bar or from the Quick tabs, Dreamweaver pane crashes (in general). It happens with form elements, flash videos, appoint you. There is no error message, just a windows alert telling me that Dreamweaver CS6 has encountered a problem and needs to close. Verifies the solution and fails.

  So did someone else encountered this? I don't know even where to start, because there is no warning pounce by DW, and it stops responding or the other. It just work for the dead.

  You use the DW Extensions?  You can turn them off in your Extensions Manager to dismiss them as possible culprits.  New launch DW.

  If this does not help, try to delete your Cache and/or personal DW Configuration folder.  When restart you DW, it will create new ones for you.

• CS6 Dreamweaver crashes when editing tables

  When I change a table in Design view of Dreamweaver CS6, it stops responding and hangs. I tried to restart my computer, restart Dreamweaver (obviously) and repeating the same process, but it hangs at the same exact spot. CS5.5 has never done something like this, in fact I've never met an accident and it was with InDesign CS5 a long time ago. It is not my computer, it is well above the required specifications for CS6. What will you is the cause? -_-

  I will carry on changing the bits of the table in the code view, at the moment, but it's just this annoying feeling to compensate for something new that is not working properly. Advice would be appreciated.

  I work with tables of data in CS6 recently and don't have not encountered any problems, so it's not a known bug.

  Often when things go wrong with Dreamweaver, it can refer to a corrupt cache file. Try the instructions to remove a corrupted cache.

  If it does not help, file a bug report using the form at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform. Try to describe the situation in detail, which gives the steps to reproduce the problem.
