CS6 on two computers (Mac &; Windows)
Hello
can I install a license (serial number) on both computers with different OS (Mac / Win) to use one after one? Not at the same time?
Steve
Here's the chapter and verse of Dreamweaver CS6 EULA:
2.1.5 dualboot platform. The software is licensed for use on a specific operating system platform. Customer must purchase a separate license to use the software on each operating system platform. For example, If the customer wants to install the software on the system operating platforms of the Mac OS and Windows on a device that runs both of those platforms (i.e., a dual-boot machine), then the customer must first obtain two separate licenses for the software. This is true even if the two versions of the software, each designed for a different operating system platform, are sent to the client on the same media.
However, it's different for the creative cloud. This is part of the Creative Cloud FAQ:
Yes, as a member of the creative cloud, you get many benefits that you don't get when you buy a product traditional shrinkwrapped:
- Expanding membership that provides access to the latest Adobe products, services, features and workflow as soon as they are available. You no longer have to wait for 12, 18 or 24 months for all the latest innovations.
- Access to the Mac OS versions both Windows® desktop applications and the ability to install them on your main computer and a backup computer. So, if you have a Mac at home and a PC at work, you can install your applications on both as long as they do not work at the same time. See the page for more information product license agreements.
- Access to any version of the language in which the CS6 and other office applications are available. Contrary to possess of a Creative Suite product traditional licensed version, composition creative cloud gives you the freedom and flexibility to choose any language works best for you in a given application.
- 20 GB of space on www.creativecloud.com cloud storage and synchronization device in order to access your work on desktop and tablet
- Online access to services that are not available through the only office products

Try to set up a direct parallel connection between two computers in Windows XP Home edition
I tried to set up a direct parallel connection between two computers in Windows XP. I have the right cable (CAT 5 Ethernet connection) and you can set up the connection on my own laptop, but when I go through the installer on another laptop it create new connection-establishment of advanced connection--> when the next window opens asking me to choose between "accept incoming connections" and "connect directly to another computer" (which I need to select) for the second option is grayed out and not can not be selected.
The same thing happens when I try to implement the same connection between my laptop and the desktop we have. All of these computers are running on Windows XP service pack 2. I really need help with this because I'm about to start pulling my hair.
Any help would be very, very, much appreciated.

Can you download CS6 on two computers?
all individual licenses of adobe allow simultaneous/activations facilities to be used by the same person even if you are not supposed to use both simultaneously.
Adobe is considering a user with an installation on a desktop and on a laptop or a facility at work and a facility at home.

Computer with Vista unable to connect to the internet through two computers with Windows 7.
Dear engineers,
In our House, we have two new computers Windows 7 connect to Wired internet access. Our friend came in hoping to play some MMO games with us on our connection (it has windows vista). When we hung everything upward, by linking to our modem, his computer was visible on my husbands computer, but was visible on mine as a media device. He could see the two computers, but could not get an internet connection and no viable ping. We checked the network map and he showed my computer with one? related to my husband then connected to the internet. Inside, there was an announcement indicating that the following devices are not displayed in the network map. under of course was listed both our friends media device and the computer device. I searched Control Panel and gave access to anyone on the login to my husbands system as long as me. What happens if nothing else can I try to have its system you can connect to our internet?
Thank you for your attention,
Cerisea
Hello
If a computer is not properly visible it generally means that sharing is not set correctly to match your system.
You must also set your computers with the computer account of the friend as a user on your computer.
Everyone does not mean everyone wishing to connect.
If the accounts are presented only for John, Jill and Jack, setting in the folder with all permissions saves the effort of definition permission separately for John, Jill and Jack.
Everyone isn't everyone group, only John, Jill and Jack.
In general.
Win7 when configured on the peer-to-peer network has three types of configurations of sharing.
Group residential network = only works between Win 7 computers. This type of configuration, it is very easy to entry level users to start sharing network.
Working network = fundamentally similar to previous methods of sharing that allow you to control what, how and to whom the records would be shared with.
Public share = network Public (as Internet Café) in order to reduce security risks. For the best newspaper of the results of each computer screen system and together all computers on a network of the same name, while each computer has its own unique name.

Make sure that the software firewall on each computer allows free local traffic. If you use 3rd party Firewall on, Vista/XP Firewall Native should be disabled, and the active firewall has adjusted to your network numbers IP on what is sometimes called the Zone of confidence (see part 3 firewall instructions
General example, http://www.ezlan.net/faq#trusted
Please note that some 3rd party software firewall continue to block the same aspects it traffic Local, they are turned Off (disabled). If possible, configure the firewall correctly or completely uninstall to allow a clean flow of local network traffic. If the 3rd party software is uninstalled, or disables, make sure Windows native firewall is active .Win 7 networking with other version of Windows as a work network.
In the center of the network, by clicking on the type of network opens the window to the right.
Choose your network type. Note the check box at the bottom and check/uncheck depending on your needs.

When you have finished the configuration of the system, it is recommended to restart everything the router and all computers involved.
-------------
If you have authorization and security problems, check the following settings.
Point to a folder that wants to share do right click and choose Properties.
In the properties
Click on the Security tab shown in the bellows of the photo on the right) and verify that users and their permissions (see photo below Centre and left) are configured correctly. Then do the same for the authorization tab.
This screen shot is to Win 7, Vista menus are similar.

The Security Panel and the authorization Panel, you need to highlight each user/group and consider that the authorization controls are verified correctly.
When everything is OK, restart the network (router and computer).
* Note . The groups and users listed in the screen-shoot are just an example. Your list will focus on how your system is configured.
* Note . There must be specific users. All means all users who already have an account now as users. This does not mean everyone who feel they would like to connect.

*** Note. Some of the processes described above are made sake not for Windows, but to compensate for different routers and how their firmware works and stores information about computers that are networked.

How to configure a direct cable connection between two computers in Windows 7
Hello
I'm trying to set up a connection by serial cable with serial cable RS232 DB9 female-female between 2 PCs, one with Windows 7 and Windows 8.For the initial check of the cable, I used a terminal program such as HyperTerminal, PuTTY, RealTerm. But none of the PC was able to read/write data from the port. I shorted her transmit and receive pins (2 & 3) at one end with a jumper (PIN stapler) for a loop to return the data to the Terminal. Terminal exits each letter typed twice, that is to say the cable and the COM port works correctly for two computers. But with 2 PCs connected, the Hyperterminal does not output nothing written of another PC Hyperterminal.Possible suspects: -.1. in the device-> PORTS (COM and LPT) Manager - there are 3 elements in both PCCommunication Port (COM1), Communications Port (COM2), the Printer Port (LPT1).while I plug / unplug the cable at the PC, nothing changes in this section.2. the drivers for this type of cable to not installed.3. different OS installed on the PC.4 or I have to create a new connection , and then connect directly to another computer as mentioned in http://support.microsoft.com/kb/305621/en-us . But I didn't know how to do these steps in Windows 7/8.Any idea about this problem is appreciated. The problem is your trying to use both ports 'exit' to connect two computers / never going to work.
VGA ports are for v's t. 'If' they are able to c.p.. otherwise, you will need to use a HDMI to the TV which is also an exit from the c.p.
If you notice your computer and your monitor using a DVI port connection not a VGA.
And no you can not use a DVI cable either :)

My HP laptop has installed Win7 Ult, the Fujitus Win7 Pro.
Both computers were sharing the files back, outside a residential group, for a period of time. One day, they are stopped. No changes have been made to computers. I tried a restore of the system on each of them, and it did not help. I re windows loaded on the HP and that did not help. I don't think that it is only a permission of the questions that I used a windows machine 7 third to map actions to each of the individual laptops using their respective IDs. I can transfer files from one of them the "machine in the middle", then the action of the other, or as a copy/paste between them directly.
WSD and NetBT will not solve one machine for others, but all other computers on the network will dispay on each machine. Only, they refuse to see each other. I have disabled the firewall. Password protected sharing, ensured that all netbios in the registry settings are correct. Pings between them are inaccessible returnded.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you!
Hi Jonathan,.
I see that you two computers on the network cannot see each other. I'll help you with this problem.
1. don't you make changes to the computers?
2 are computers on a domain network?
3. do you have a router connected to these computers?
Method 1:
Open the HomeGroup troubleshooter
http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-HomeGroup-Troubleshooter
Method 2.
Make sure that the following services are enabled on the computer.
(a) click Start, type "services.msc" in the search and click on services. Verify that these services are enabled:
-TCP/IP NetBIOS Helper service
-DNS Client
-Function Discovery Resource Publication
-SSDP Discovery
-UPnP device host
To start the service and set it to automatic, follow these steps:
(b) right click on each of the services listed above and click Properties.
(c) click the general tab, and then, next to startup type, select automatic.
(d) click on apply and then click Start.
Method 3.
I suggest you follow the steps in this article.

my mother has two computers that are running windows 7 and she wants to give me one of them, but it first wants to transfer or share all his stuff from one to the other. We network cables and such can I connect the on computers and share information from one to the other?
Hello
To connect two computers with a cable, not a router, it must be a crossover cable.
These are special cables, but they are not expensive.(You can configure a network or a host group (see below))
Connect two computers using a crossover cable (XP - Windows 7 may be the same)

everything goes well with your upgrade, if it was then it would not have worked on different computers.

Two computers with Windows Vista has problems with (screens going blank).
We have a Sony Vaio laptop and an HP Touchsmart with Windows Vista. Last week Sony screen turned black and jumped, then back with the message saying there was an error with the NVIDIA GRAPHICS DRIVER, the driver had stopped working properly. You had to do repair system, which then gave me an option to do system restore to the previous time. Done this and back Sony a bit, then the screen went black and had to repeat the process. Long story short, it won't restore or do something. HP Touchsmart now do the same thing. Anyone having this problem?
If you have the message on which you say that you did - it's a driver problem or a video card problem. If you allowed Microsoft to update your nVidia driver - that might be the root of your problem. It is possible that both machines have nVidia video cards, maybe even the same. In any case - the solution remains the same for at least the one you quoted the error for.
Download and install the latest video card for any device driver is installed and if this does not work - could be material.
I'm guessing that the machines are in the same place - same meaning House or business? If they are connected to a regulation of output/device which could damage the components via automatic voltage of the voltage drops and overvoltages?

V3.6.24 running two computers, one Windows XP Windows 7 other
Under XP it correctly displays actual resolution images, in Win7 it resizes all the images to "climb" in the Firefox screen. I'd rather display size real XP, any means to get the Win7 display full size image?
Type of topic: config in the URL bar and press ENTER.
If you see the warning, you can confirm that you want to access this page.Pref = browser.enable_automatic_image_resizing = double click to toggle it to false
