  I pay tithing Adobe CC but also keep a copy of the CS6 installed.

  I need to use the old 32-bit version of Photoshop at times.

  The last 2 times I received an update for CS6 via my creative application of cloud, the update failed. I subscribe to the package of the photographer so I have a Photoshop & Lightroom CC 2015, functional and up to date, but I would like to get updated CS6 up-to-date as well. The only change since the last time the update worked, (and that's a big), I upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10. This upgrade was completed on 26 September and the November update was completed in early November. Someone has the same problem?

  I am running the latest version of Yosemite (10.10.2).  Is there some half downloaded file I can delete to make this work?  I waited.  I restarted.  I'm VERY reluctant to remove my current cs6 installation if this is what it takes.  I am an instructor at a local community college.  The college works currently as CS6.  I teach a class of animation using After Effects and as such, I need CS6 working on my MBP.  If this update is not critical, I'll just let it roll.  Ah, Yes, and I also keep CC AE and AE CC 2014 for no other reason that I can take a file students CC 2014 all the way back to CS6 so that they can work in the classroom.  I guess I'll need to add CC 2015 or what ever they call it so I have 4 installations of AE just file conversions... but that's another thread.

  This "update" is not really for After Effects; This is the update for Adobe Camera Raw. Unless you use Camera RAW in your version of CS6 AE a lot, I wouldn't worry about this at all.

  I subscibed to creative cloud and the uodater tells me that I have updated to apply to Photoshop and Illustrator CS6. I would like to have these updates because there is no guarantee that I'll be able to pay the subscription of the CC forever. However, every time I apply they fail with the error U44M1P7. According to the help document Adobe that I need to download the standalone installation programs. I did it with Illustrator and she has exactly the same way.   I solved my problem. For others, the solution is to run the AAM in administrator mode. Duh!

  Now have a PS to 13.12 version.

  I tried to uninstall DW CS6 and downloading/installing at least twice and always end up here.

  (Note that I have CC DW & a beta installed too).

  Could someone informed please shed some light on this problem?  (I can send the entire log if necessary).

  I'm sorry - my Mac recently have a utility called xtraFinder that, among other things, ordered files on top (windows style) - something that I didn't used to, when I jumped in the utilities and types "teen," he showed me a few Adobe files and not file (since it's at the top)...

  As user error, even if I was a Mac guru for an eternity.

  I removed anyway - DW CS6 using this link and removed the CC DW too, because I suspected that was causing the problem.

  Then, I installed DW CS6 and updated it is fine.

  Then, I installed DW CC and updated it is fine.

  Finally, all right.

  Thanks for your help, without which I would not have reached the solution.

  I'm on a Macbook Pro CS6 (2012) running OS Max 10.11.2 (El Capitan)

  I find that my After Effects is grayed out (not selectable - because it is not compatible with El Capitan)

  I tried to update (as well as my other apps) office within CC Updater, but I get an Error Message saying "Update failed"

  The download seems to be corrupted. Please try to download it again. (U43M1D207). I've attached a screenshot of the Message.

  No idea how to get around this problem / update my apps CS6?

  Download Camera Raw 8.7 update fails in Photoshop CS6. I read a post from someone with the same problem who said that he was told to uninstall/reinstall Photoshop. That cannot be the answer, and many people must be having trouble with this download. Help, please! I can't edit Lightroom 5 files in Photoshop CS6 now (I have download the update for LR5 without problem).

  OK, to account. I needed to update my Windows 7 Photoshop ACR to 8.7, so I went the same link I gave you.

  I usually keep Firefox and Chrome browsers. I put my download location in the preferences of browser on 'Office '.

  Then I went to this link and click on the zip file. I chose 'Save' instead of 'open with '.

  The zip file is now on my desk, I can see it.

  I double-click it to unzip it (I use Winrar 5.11) I then get the .exe installer.

  I close all my programs, run the installer and enter my admin password when asked. He simply settled with a single click.

  When I finished, I open the bridge, go to preferences Raw camera to see I have 8,7 I.
