  Please follow the below mentioned steps to make sure that your updates work very well: -.

  For Mac:

  (1) restart your Mac

  (2) launch PS

  3) go to preferences help - updates - and make sure that the ACR is checked.

  (4) check updates

  (5) Camera Raw 6.7 select update, click Update

  other term "AdobePatchInstaller.app" from the mounted Camera_Raw_6_7 dmg file that you have downloaded the adobe.com site

  (6) mac will ask you to enter your password for the connected account. Enter the password. (Make sure you have all privileges)

  (7) leave PS and let the update.

  A few seconds later Extension Manager installed the add-on without any error and hassle with my standard modules to InDesign.

  As a side effect, I had a new folder "/ Applications/Utilities/Adobe Creative Cloud" with approximately 330 MB of stuff I really don't seem to need.   I am under Photoshop CS6 (34 to 64-bit versions) on Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit and I tried to install an extension, but I get the following error:

  Here is an article that meets your specific error message regarding updates:http://support.microsoft.com/kb/900936.  I am surprised that the error occurs with all the updates, but there may be a difference between them that causes the problem for definitions, but not for others.  I hope that this will solve the problem.
