CSS causing 2014 CC Dreamweaver run slow
As soon as you add even the simplest CSS as a background color, to the html file Dreamweaver CC 2014 (on a Mac under OS X 10.10) gets incredibly slow.
Each click results in a delay of 20 seconds. In this way, the program becomes totally useless in the production.
Anyone with similar behavior?

Windos XP and Internet Explorer runs slow after turning to...
I really hope that someone can help me that the Forums have proved useful to me in the past. This is my last issue.
One of my parents, for reasons that I won't, get updated his cable, phone and internet in one of these beams that offers local, rather than paying for phone company each separately. She has an office of older model PC that runs Windows XP and worked it, Office 2003 (if the memories are good) and Internet Explorer (I mean IE8) very well and quickly.
After its upgrade of the high-speed line was complete one of the first things I did was to go to Microsoft to download a bunch of updates as it had been on dial until it was impossible to download everything that she needed (she had not kept with it but also rarely used the computer to get on the net so it was not that big a deal). All XP downloaded approximately 77 updates and after a while successfully installed all of them. He then restarted and soon after started incredibly slow operation.
Because it runs more slowly now that when she was on the dial upwards, she is ready to get rid of its highspeed which I said. I think that one or more of 77 more updates, I installed may have done something. Also his internet browser now looks like my laptop (Acer with Vista and IE 9) so I think that maybe his version of XP and IE do not play nice with them. Finally something told me she had a Trojan horse, and some adware that I used Lavasoft to get rid of and their last free version is installed with moy.
Any help would be appreciated to untangle what is causing his PC suddenly run slow. I'm tempted to use a restore point and go back, but I'm not sure how to go (and really, I've never used a prior restore point). I'm half tempted to simply restore the entire hard drive but would have a copy of XP (I don't have a copy of Windows 98 that I some how came in possession of CD).

Avoid using third-party software that claims to clean your computer. This software does more harm than good. In addition, you don't need it. Note that all computers become slower over time even in the normal conditions of use. Dreamweaver CC slow 20141, crashes, loses the passwords... Should I return to a different version?
I used Dreamweaver since version 2 in 1998. These days I use it mainly for editing PHP / HTML / CSS. I don't use much visual editing features.
With each new version, Dreamweaver gets slower and less reliable. I'm at my wits end. This morning:
- When you use find: functionality of the whole of the Site locally on a site relatively important (about 10 000 pages) find it just stops about 20% through, takes up 100% of my CPU, blocks indefinitely. I have to force quit.
- At the opening of the files with a frame of considerable javascript (e.g. twitter bootstrap) opening files, bringing even the update file, saving files, is unbearably slow. I already disabled enable related files.
- For the first time, Dreamweaver is now lost my FTP passwords and I have to type them again from scratch. Might have to do with force - quit (see #1).
I am looking for a replacement at this stage code editor. So far, nothing is enough to the invoice. In the meantime, can anyone recommend a process to get Dreamweaver to be faster and more reliable? I am quite willing to downgrade, etc..
Thanks for the idea. I checked PHPStorm but is really not to my taste. I grew up with Dreamweaver (use it I think for 10 years and more) and I'm used to my workflow. Also, I pay for it, so I'd just like to work well. Right now, the performance degrades with each subsequent update.
I would like Adobe to ensure that editing basic HTML is still catchy and effective before he bloating with features WYSIWYG using perhaps only 5% of us.
Adobe support has been friendly with me on the phone. They gave me a link to download the previous version of Dreamweaver, and it's such a relief. I didn't have to go back to the CS6, just the previous version of 2014. HTML editing is reasonably fast again. It is slow to open a file sometimes, but at the very least, * economies * now is instant once more. In the last version, each backup took 4 + seconds, which makes back and forth between the browser and the bulky HTML.

New games running slower now...
My son and I are players. With Win 7, it seems that games are now running slower. I feel that I have to set up Win 7 more 'performance' than for 'the look '... Laptop is running slow wireless
I'm having a problem with my wireless, I can go online, but when I'm wireless it runs slow. When I connect via ethernet, it runs fast. I checked in the Device Manager to see if there was an error or if the driver needed to be updated. I too have an Acer Aspire 5532. Is there a solution to this problem?

Mid 2011 Mac Mini running slow/a lot of balloons of beach/HDD to research and writing
I have a Mid 2011 Mac Mini, which runs slower than a snail's pace. I frequently get beach balls as I type this message. Startup time is very long, and the hard drive is often written / search/access for several minutes at random throughout the day.
This seemed to start after I have updated to El Capitan 10.11.6. I decided a few weeks to reinstall OS X without doing a thorough cleaning. It did not help the situation, so I then proceeded to install the latest beta of Mac OS 10.12 to see if that helped. Nope. I don't think I have a bad hard drive, either.

running slow mac - cleanmymac and/or new battery?
My macbook (13-inch late 2009 model) works well, but is running slow. I am considering buying Cleanmymac 3 - but it made a difference? I used the demo version that has identified about 110 GB, which could be authorised only if I got the full Cleanmymac3. I have to add... the battery did 470 cycles! Would it better to replace the battery or get Cleanmymac performance? I'm not very irritable so don't really understand the impact of one. Ideally I get a new mac but will try and keep this one spends more time if possible! Thank you

I used to work only on PC, but now I have this 2009 macbook Pro. He had a record of 7200 RPM... but he died... I want to put a hybrid SSHD on it... will it run slower?
Several years ago I tested both a hybrid version Seagate 1 and later version 2 with my 13 "2009 MBP and the computer started more quickly with one of these drives with 7200 RPM drive. But that and save files were the only time where I saw an improvement of high speed. So no, not slower, but not really all that much faster. I ended up installing an SSD in the computer. Now that was an improvement.

If these do not work, try to reinstall windows with the supplied with the system recovery cd. At this point, I would like to know how is the computer. This should restore normal operation however speed and don't forget to back up data before restoring from CD
