• Creating a CSS file for a menu?

  Not sure if a CSS file is what I need... I've created a spry menu with many submenus etc..  The site will have many pages that will use this menu.  Is there a way to create a file just to store the flight path images and outline codes, so I don't have to copy and paste into each separate web page?  Also, if I make a change down the road, I don't really want to having to update each page.

  You can use the page test.shtml as a starting point because we know it works.

  Try to add copy and pasting of code in test.shtml index.shtml fragments a bit at a time.  Upload to the server and test along the way.

• All of a sudden Photoshop 13.0.4/Mac OS10.7.5 Save for Web fails due to "unknown operating system error"

  I disabled all plugins.

  Nothing seems to help.

  Currently uninstalling and relocate or update to see if that helps. But I'm open to any ideas?

  Apparently, something happened to severely corrupt my admin account last night. Do not know what it was, but using a new admin account, or restore the admin account from a backup cured this issue for me.

  Enkitec vertical list Navbar appears momentarily until it is formatted by CSS and it seems OK.

  It is really annoying and makes pages look stupid. This problem is identified as a performance problem and can be solved by putting the support of Plugin files in directories of files instead of the database.

  I created a Directory pointing to the file directory database:

  Hmmm, well it does not matter if you do the mapping. The embedded PL/SQL gateway is well integrated in the database in PL/SQL.  All your resources (images, CSS, javascript, etc.) are still be extracted from the base in order to be served to the client. Those in the file system are not in use after installation.

  This is going to be heavy.

  I think you may still be able to make some optimizations by moving the assets of plugin for a name that is mapped by the gateway.

  In your apex installation, take a look at apxldimg.sql see how records and assets are added.  You can then add the plugin files.

  See if that helps.

  In addition, you can follow the comments of Patrick on the post you are referencing and move the inclusion of files to the top of the page AND change the plugin so it does ' t add any more files.  Now in theory, you can skip the download folder and the image and add the plugin assets as standard apex post and reference them with #WORKSPACE_IMAGES # #APP_IMAGES, or # (if you add specifically for an application). But you still want to include them at the top of the page.

  I'm under APEX 3.1.2. and met some problems on download of CSS.
  
  I had a CSS file for an application running.
  This file I deleted and use the Create button in the shared components > Cascading Style Sheets > create a cascading stylesheet to upload the new CSS file under the same name.
  Later I tried to use some of the newly introduced classes, but they did not come to work when I run the page.
  
  Everything worked fine when I download the new file under a different name.
  So, it seems that the changes in the document had no effect.
  When I edited the file online new classes did not work also.
  
  I tried to find out by searching the weather forum and the release of notes it is a bug known to this version or not.
  Anyone of you knows?
  If it's a known bug, it is resolved to a later version?

  From what you described, this could just be a problem with your browser, the CSS implementation in cache and not to pick up the update.

• Several Dreamweaver templates &amp; CSS files

  I have a site that I'm putting in dreamweaver and I have an article I want to use a different template for and have a different presentation, but I'm afraid if I change the way the divs to see my new model that it will transport you to all my other files anyway because I'd go to my css file to change them. Then do I have a css file for another model or will I be paranoid? lol also if anyone knows a good tutorials for the use of several models that would be great.   Well I think the answer is probably to nested models, it seems.

  Oh, no, don't do it!  Nested templates are pure hell to work with.  Even our resident model expert, Murray, said there is no legitimate reason to nest templates when you can use CSS rules specific page.

• Decode the error in the output to the file for later burning to DVD

  I have a MPG file in Ulead Media Studio Pro (what's more, I can run because it does not work on Windows 7 using my new PC).  I have created a new project in PE9, added the mpg, dragged to the timeline and said first file to change the project settings to match. It is now PAL DVD top field first.  There is no red line on the timeline above the clip.  When I try to print to a file for later burning to DVD, I get an error of decoding around a particular frame.  When I go near the image in the monitor window and step forward to an image both that it moves smoothly until it gets on the framework in question when there is a noticeable delay to press on the arrow and the time counter updating to next chassis number.  The MPG plays well in Windows Media Player and VLC player - it shows a melted transition crossed to the place that fails in PE9.  Can I do to solve this problem?  I have no software authoring otherwise independent DVDs that would be an option.

  It's only a guess, but it seems that there is something wrong with the structure at that time MPEG GOP.

  There are several freeware software DVD that run under Wn7, by this RESEARCH. I never have used any, as I have Adobe Encore, but he is now only available in Premiere Pro.

  If Ulead worked well with this MPEG file, it is either compatible DVD or Ulead is more lenient than for the PrE. Software Adobe aren't just leniet, because the output is very strict. Some programs, not so much.

  Others that eventually make a cut at each end of the crossfade and leave in the form of a cut or shorten the two scenes on each side of the deleted passage and another application, I can't imagine a way to "clean up" the part of the MPEG.

  Found a workaround.  The problem is that, before the 7695070 patch is applied, the installation program backup directory/apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk in /apps/fs2/FMW_Home/webtier/jdk_backup_existing_version, but then it clears. / jdk - the patch fails because it can't find it.  I had to rename the directory of the jdk for jdk2, and as soon as it gets deleted quickly and rename jdk2 jdk.  Then he applies the patches without problem.  A symbolic link would do the same thing.

  As you may know - it worked at all, so I changed it back.  This posed a new problem showing only HTML, so I corrected this line of code back to its original form.

  The problem going forward is that Dreamweaver displays two Styles.css next to the Source Code in my tab named index.html (not sure what this window of Dreamweaver is called).  The Styles.css which is closer to my Source Code is empty but I think direct CSS still work.  Next to the Styles.css, I have the other Styles.css, and that one is full of code that extracts of my project of.  This Styles.css works and allows me to modify the existing CSS, however I can't not (in Source Code) insert a new image and then apply CSS, because when I go to the CCS designer and add a selector, he wants to put in the empty CSS file.

  How to get back there showing a CSS next to the Source Code? AND maybe if allowed within this same thread, could someone explain why the CSS works fine in the browser of Dreamweaver, but not when I go to preview in the browser (like Safari or Chrome)?

  I could go back in Time Machine on my MAC and enter the old file, but I would really like to know how to fix the mistake that I did, because it's possible I could repeat this error, and it would be good to know why, he does not appear CSS at the preview and Safari and Chrome.

  Switch to Code view.

  Remove the old links of stylesheet from your code.

  Then you get this PHP reference code after establishing site-specific code hinting is absolutely fabulous, and I wanted something like this for Dreamweaver for centuries, always jealusly to see things like Eclipse and Zend with their PHP-semi-automatic things.

  There is always one thing that frustrates me, however, and it is that I can't get the css classname autocompleting less classes are written in the document I use directly, or via a straight HTML include.  Once I have CSS files included using the PHP treatment or variable names, classes are not available in the drop-down menus of AutoComplete.

  I tried two ways around this problem:

  1. implementation of dynamic related files.  Because when you use this PHP is actually resolved and the links are made with success, I thought that the classnames would be also available.  After all, the CSS file is just there, found in a related case.  Unfortunately, this is not the case.

  2. implementation of site-specific code hinting.  It was great for PHP autocomplete, but doesn't seem to do anything for CSS.  I said look in my CSS file and he alerted on the .css file extensions, but they do not seem to be read as a source for entry semi-automatic classname.

  So... is there a way I can get this to work?  Or simly functionality does not exist?  It seems strange to these advance in CS5 for grateful that you will often want to refer to things that are dynamically included, but not extend to CSS.

  I think you can get this working by adding your stylesheets as a design-TIME Style sheets.
