  I have a bit of a struggle to understand how to use external fonts in SVG documents.

  I've been looking for a while now, but I can't find anything. I noticed that if I save one 10x10mm box created in Illustrator in an SVG, that it has a size of 28x28 user units in the svg. W3C Standard recommends a 35x35 Although the box.

  If I do exactly the same in Inkscape, I get a 35x35 box in SVG.

  After searching for a bit, I discovered that Illustrator works with dots in the background that it converts 1mm to 2.8346dt . (which incidentally is around 3.5433px , as in the W3C Standard).

  So my question is: is Adobe Illustrator use points as their SVG user unit?

  Basic unit of Illustrator is the point (1/72nd of an inch). It is also the actual measure that illustrator arbitrarily suppose pixels (whereas Inkscape takes 90 pixels per inch by default, but provides the user setting in preferences).

  10 mm is 28,347 pt. If you draw a square of 10mm in Illustrator and save it as an SVG, it's why you see 28.347 in the resulting SVG code (which, of course, turns to 28 pixels).

  So while you work in Illustrator to SVG, create your rules of Points (or "Pixels" If you must; it's the same thing in Illustrator) and size the objects according to the desired pixels you want to practice the SVG.

  If you want to work with the value leaders milimeters when drawing in Illustrator and want to have a measure of outcome of 10 mm in 35 pixels when recording as SVG, then before you save the SVG, scale everything to 123.47 percent.

  I don't know enough about the manual writing code to create these SVG effects. I just know that Muse will allow the implementation of such a code when it is created.

• CD device out of use

  My second pc is a computer laptop Inspiron 1501, XP, and this device can not suddenly play any disc, audio, software or a blank cd - rw.

• Blurry images on the Retina display

  Dear all,

  I have two iMac 27', one of 2010 and a whole new one retina.

  The topic is:

  Editing some pictures on photoshop for my site on the retina of display but the photos seem a little obscure, as a low resolution...
  Edit the photos exactly the same on my old iMac and the perfect look of photos!

  Same size, same resolution, same photoshop.

  To be sure, I saved the two photos for the web on iMacs and then open them with the application overview on both screens.

  Even, perfect on old screen and a little little point clear or blurry on the retina.

  Someone knows why?

  This happens only on photos, texts and stuffs are supa clear on the Retina display, but I noticed that most of the websites I visit display pictures unclear!

  On the regular iMac, an image that is 400 pixels may appear as about 3 inches long on this screen. However, on your iMac to the retina, that image would be on a 1.5 inch. This is because the iMac has double the resolution, but the same retina display size. Which makes things look great. The downside is, it can also make things look small. To avoid this, the iMac of retina automatically stretches everything so a 400 pixel image on the regular iMac seems the same size on the Retina display. If you set a picture on, you know it can become blurred.  The solution to optimize your images for the Retina of your iMac display is to use higher resolution images. If you take a picture only twice as large that it must be on a traditional screen and squish it down for display on your Web site, it will look sharp for normal users. • Animations and Image editing options

  Hi all

  I searched the Forum and could not find the following options for animations

  1. GIFs - some said GIF is not supported, but some were discussing workarounds. I asked if it worked for them. This option, I thought that if works, we can convert Flash files in gif and use.
  2. SME - I tried havn't. download the CDK. But saw a few entries on the forum, that we cannot modify the animation on the page.
  3. Flash - Flash did not support for the version earlier. But not safe for Storm taking in charge or not? Do we need to install Flash player separately. And I can integrate the flash file in the screen. Don't know what API should be used (if possible)
  4. SVG - Measurer of vector graphics. I could see some of the examples provided with the JDK.

  If I want to include an animated image on the screen which one of the above would be the best option.

  Also can I provide an API that can activate the edition image as cropping, adding effects and features like that. Editor of a pointer that will help me to image.

  Please provide your inputs.

  The native mail application can't stand animated GIFs.  They can be seen in the BlackBerry browser or using the field of animated gif custom knoweldge base (link above).

  Mobile devices blackBerry do not support Flash.

• Motion by lines on a map

  Hello

  I want to create a motion to the map that I have attached. I created it in photoshop, and I wish the lines branch out to their final destination, once the user scroll down to the map.

  I know how to make a line or object moving on the screen, but I can't understand how the beginning of lines and the "branch" to their final place.

  Make sense?

  Photoshop certainly not suited for this purpose. As noted above, you should redo all CC animate...

  I'm working on my first site sensitive design. Pretty easy so far, but I'm having a hard time to understand how to insert the SVG in a HTML5 page (Bootstrap and XML).

  I spent hours looking for documentation on this in the Adobe site and elsewhere. What I've read the SVG doesn't scale correctly unless it is in the viewBox.

  I don't get the error of Validation of Dreamweaver CC if I leave a 'simple' insert/image in Dreamweaver CC, but you do not get the viewBox, which of course helps you control the image.

  You use the tag

  The tag, that's why you get this error.

  If you want to use an svg image you made in artificial intelligence, use the one tag with the .svg source.

  You can then control with css normally.

• Why not save a vector file in creative cloud?

  As a professional Illustrator, I've been a fan of Adobe ideas: work completed, just sent me a vector file and... Ok. Or instead, it was recorded at my creative cloud like a .ideas backed up by file. Perfect.

  Draw came with large additions to the ideas, no doubt. But it lacks the most elementary thing: export the work as a usable file (I don't talk of a dirty .jpeg, .png not own or even export to another application like Illustrator CC - I'm talking about a .svg vector file).

  Why not make a vector file to access creative cloud backup? In general, I don't need Illustrator to make improvements or corrections to my work. My illustrations came ready ideas or draw (I used to access the .svg files in the sandbox of the app, but with ios 9 that not more possible and ideas is no longer works with these ios also version).

  I think that (a vector file to my CC upward), would be a solution, because it would not interfere in politics of Adobe to not use versions inherited (according to the CS6), as well as its applications and at the same time would make things much easier for us, existing users.

  Someone here in another thread said that there are many other applications of vector in the itunes store, we are wasting our time trying to get these files to the CS6, but... If we continue using the draw it's because it's good... I would not be insistent in this idea for as long as I was if it wasn't a good app! But something is missing. Something I think it's pretty simple to do.

  Thank you for your comments persuasive. This is a feature that has generated a momentum of opinion and pleas and requests (including Maruyama KBFeature Request: Save in CreativeCloud in vector format (svg / AI / draw)).

  I don't know when / if the functionality that has been so popular in the Adobe ideas will be added to the draw, but I'll certainly make sure that the product teams see your comments.
