  I have a set of data : a set representing the independent variable and a set representing the dependent variable. I need to find the minimum number of cubic curves (find their coefficients) that reduce the average quadratic error less than a given tolerance. If the tolerance is higher than 17 particular segments, so I need to raise an error.

  You have an idea what function blocks, I need to?

  I could use general polynomial Fit VI with order 3 and its default method to check the residue. If the residue is greater than the given tolerance, so I could try to use two cubic curves and test them on different starting and ending points until the residue is less than the given tolerance. If tolerance is not guaranteed, I add another curve and I test again the Assembly as shown above. By iteration until the residue is less than the given tolerance, or until I would need to add 18th cubic curve.

  If there was something ready, I would be grateful.

  Did you even read my response? You have a serious air conditioning problem because the data is on a narrow Beach far from zero. By example-6500 ^ 3 is smaller that - 2E11, i.e. a value that many (many!) is orders of magnitude different from that of the constant term (1). The linear algebra problem that results is very ill, conditioned and just blindly Ford over the accelerator pedal are bad advice here.

  This isn't a problem with the implementation of LabVIEW, but a fundamental vice that you encouter also (or worse) If you would do your own math. No way around it. (See also)

  My recommendation is to delete the X offset and add it later again. Now things work correctly. (Note that a second order polynomial fitting still works without twist it).

  I have a curve I need to straighten, and so I decided to use the cube to adapt, but I need all the points of origin of the interest. When I tried the cubic Spline adjustment function in LV, I had a smooth curve, but it did not contain the first points of interest.

  I read in the literature that, with cubic splines a smooth curve can be adapted on the original points, would like to know how this problem could be overcome.

  The original curve and the fitted curve are fixed below

  What you should do is interpolation instead of editing.  Two ways to do it.

  1 use the Interpolation Spline VI

  2. set the smoothness to 1 for all points of adjustment of Spline cubic

  I have a request of ASO cube created in 11.1.2.1, I want to migrate to 11.1.2.3 which was an easy task by creating the app in 11.1.2.3 and the outline of the migration.

  Now I want to convert this app EPMA in 11.1.2.3, my question is

  -Is there way to convert a cube ASO EPMA? like the classic Wizard EPMA in EPMA

  -Can I create a new ASO in EPMA? and if so how will import xmls in the ASO.

  If it's a standard ASO essbase application then it should appear, if it is an ASO created by planning then it is not supported with only classic EPMA.

• Illustrator for the Export PNG - without Anti-Aliasing/Bi-cubic interpolation

  There is something missing when you export PNG images in illustrator (file > export) so when the images that have been resized in illustrator get exported, get no not a subsampling anti alising/correct treatment.

  It is a scaling in illlustrator to 88% of the images. The first Image is a PNG export , while the second image is saved through Save for Web... the difference between the qualities of anti-aliasing is obvious:

  

  

  It is important to note that export a JPEG file and choosing 'Art optimized' in the anti aliasing tab gives deirable results but such an option does not exist when exporting png.

• Polynomial function

  First of all, thanks to you in advance for reading my question and taking the time to respond. I greatly appreciate your effort.

  I have 30 lines of data. Each line represents the net amount of items sold every day.

  I created a graph 2D with these data and applied the polynomial regression for purposes of sales forecast. You can find this feature under series->-> polynomial trendlines.

  You also have the following options to order: 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 (I chose 6). That really means this 'order'?

  Very simplified and general answer (from a non-statisticien):

  Trend curves are the "best fit" lines applied to a set of XY data that has been drawn on a diagram of dispersion. A linear trendline can be described using a polynomial function "order 1':

  y = a * x ^1 + b * x ^ 0

  (x ^ 1 = x, x ^ 0 = 1)

  Best suited for data graphics in a shape that looks like a curve will require a graphic that function as a curve, as a quadratic function (order 2):

  y = a * x ^2 + b * x ^ 1 + c * x ^ 0

  Data sites that seem to have a folding alternated in the curve, you need a higher order, such as a cubic function (order 3)

  y = a * x ^3 + b * x ^ 2 + c * x ^ 1 + d * x ^ 0

  Unless your data set is large enough, higher orders probably will not give you a more precise match.

• How can I print on my mobile printer officejet 100 since an android via bluetooth device?

  Here, I'm puzzled. I installed the printer on my Windows PC. I can't perform a (Bluetooth) pairing of my Android Tablet (Galaxy 10.1 "). I tried to use a variety of print from Android Marketplace programs, but I can't get anything to print.

  When I try with PrinterShare, it asks me to select the printer. When I select the OfficeJet 100, thought that the application cannot find a driver for the printer.

  Note to HP: you definitely need to improve the documentation on this printer. The docs supplied with my printer make no mention of Android, and it is almost impossible to find something useful online. Very disappointing.

  Update: we found a solution that works very well for us at the moment. ICanPrint (Android app) has a small box that can be used to connect an Android tablet to this printer.

  We ordered and tested one of these boxes with a 10 inch Samsung Galaxy Tab, and it works very well. The area is small, almost cubic and about 1.5 inch on each side. It requires a power source when printing.

  ICanPrint customer support team is extremely sensitive. They worked with us to create a custom driver that meets some of our specific requirements.

  Search for ICanPrint on Google play for more information. It is the first solution that we found that actually works, after many hours of agony (days, weeks) of the research.

  Hi everyone, this question has been annoys me all the day im hoping someone can help me.

  I am building a presentation that includes a timeline - I have attached a reference image.

  Sequence:

  1. Timeline page (each box is a link to a new slide)
  2. Click on the blue box (24 months)
  3. The triangle arrow blades to stop in the middle of the box and text turns "BOLD" (using magical movement). Once this transition is complete, the blue box below the timeline is based (slides from the left).
  4. (bit of problem) 24 months blue box slide when I click on the green box (12 months), the blue box is not build (its supposed to slide to the right) he just disappears, and then the arrow moves the green box and sets the text to bold.

  Why does not the blue box build out until the arrow moves to the green box. If I turn the presentation in "normal" as opposed to "links only" it relies on--but this would frustrate the object.

  PS: if I paste the blue box in the next slide and change the color to green - when I click the button 12 months she mixes from blue to green which is ok, BUT id prefer to have the box slide in and out.

  I want kind of a transition of cubic object between the slides without moving the contents of the timeline. SO I want the triangle to come alive on normally and the text to transform "BOLD" BUT I also want the content below the timeline to fly in and out as if its independent.

  Recently, I have re-uploaded the app re-launched "ElGard. Basically, I am not new to this game so I tried to connect my old account, but the password does not match. My old account contains elements of cash-shoot so I tried to contact Bicore(the developer of the game?) support for this. so far, spent two days and still I have no response from them at all. I resorted to office instead of email recovery support is because 'find password' in game is having errors for unknown reasons. For this reason, I created another account to a beginner. I decided I'll invest once more to buy Cubics(real cash from the game currency). So I bought a card iTunes $ 25 and $15 and over to my apple account. It is only in order to buy cubic, however, once I purchased the 3200 cubic for $29.99 it didn't reflect on my account ElGard but reflected on my account Apple, the remaining balance left after credits $40.29 was now $10,29. I have not received the RC for the purchase of the so I was wondering if Apple could help me in this matter. I've already sent bicore support to it but also did not get response so far. I'll give some pictures, but I don't know if you'll find them legitimate. Apple, please check my recent purchases, or you need so that I can justify for that matter.   The first battery is clearly indicated for t420s.

  Both batteries are basically the same, the 57... We're older, without the authentication chip (does not work in T430s), the 0 a... one is more recent, with authentication chip (also works under T430s).

  I use T420s with the 57Y4536. It's a Li - Pol battery. I bet that the new is also Li - Pol because Li - Pol is the only technology bringing cubic, not cylindrical, which is necessary for this battery.

  As a newbie to LabVIEW, I am in need of basic advice on how best to proceed with the development of my process in LabVIEW simulation, what follows is basically what I want to implement:

  1. a ship is initially set at a certain level (I express the content in the form of volumetric cubic units).

  2. press a start button.

  3. open a tap at the bottom of the boat (opening time is 2 seconds) - then the following steps 4. and 5. occur simultaneously

  4. material flow by boat (I have an expression of volumetric flow in units rate cubes per second)

  5. material feeding in the upper part of the ship (I have the volumetric flow rate in cubic XX per second units)

  I tried to implement the above using various methods (Simulation framework, sequence timed, etc.), but with all the various functions in LabVIEW I am baffled that you select as I have flow rates, delay going on in my application.  I also want to do some animations and show graphs of discharge and volume of content of ship over time.

  If anyone can suggest the best approach to this problem it would be appreciated.

  I think that your description of the process is fine.  I got a lot more serious real customer.

  For applications like yours, look at a state machine.  There are examples or available in LV design patterns to help you get started. The architecture of State machine can be very flexible as needs change and can allow alos robust management errors and conditions initial and final, as well as the ongoing process operation.

  The best way to get help on the Forum is to display your classic attempt as well as data. Indicate as clearly as possible what you expect it to do, and he does that you didn't expect.  Ask questions that are specific: why my delay in step 3 2 seconds when I was expecting 100 ms? a much better than why my VI is not working?

• Puzzled by changing the size of the array of Bell Curve (or made gaussien)

  I use an instrument which entered a table 1 d signal. When you draw the it, it looks a lot like a Gaussian function (it looks very good too).

  What I want to do is to change the size of the array of this input function (basically I want to increase the size of table).

  For example, when you look at the picture attached, you will see that the size of the curve in the picture on the left, which is the GROSS ENTRY, 70 =.

  What I want to do is to change this size to a number of interest (for example, let's say 80)...

  So basically I want to insert 10 new numbers in the table (in random places), but I want these 10 numbers to fit on the best-fit-the signal line (like you see in the image to the right).

  So I tried to use Gaussian worthy, and cubic spline worthy... etc but none of these features allow me to change the size of the table of the output to adapt.

  Any of them do not give you the equation of the line of best - fit either... so I can't solve Y for a known X.

  It is very important for me to continue my project.

  Look at the palette under Interpolation in the math palette.  You can find something that will work for you.  It will not add points on the equation, but should allow you to get more points along your curve.
