  I did uninstall another and got rid of the Preferences file. Voila! This works. I'm not crazy about not understanding why, but he works at a time when he really needs to work.

  Just a few suggestions.

  Make sure that the pages/subforms are not to repeat (in the object > range of liaison), unless they are explicitly required to do so.

  Also on the last page, make sure that it is not a subform which extends beyond the content area. This can often lead to an additional page, but it usually shows in the designer.

  I am the admin of Windows for a University Department and install PC with Firefox all the time. This problem does not occur with every PC I would maintain, only a selection bit (model different laptops with Windows and update 1 8.1.)
