Culture/resizing clip

How can I crop or resize a clip in a video? By chance, I captured a few things in the corner of a video I need to crop away.

Hello!

At the moment the Clip doesn't have this feature. Is what you can do, edit your project in the video and then press the 'Share' button and select 'Send to Premiere Pro' and make other changes there including the cropping or resizing of your video.

Keep on the lookout for future versions.

Best,

    Dear Adobe community,

    Since the last 2 updates (now currently 9.0.2 (6) build) whenever I have resize (audio or video) clip from the timeline preview freezes and I can't play the video. I can still do stuff around the program, but I can't hit play to listen to samples. Sometimes it takes more than 30 seconds for her discount so that I can work again make each video project take forever!

    I managed to find a work-around as a double click on the clip and trim size setting in the window trim. In this way the video preview window will freeze.

    I tried simple and complex projects. I disabled the mercury playback engine, restarted. reinstalled without solution.

    When the gel or the suspension of the program occurs, I check if the processor is doing something or the card graphic and nope. They are cold.

    I tried to call tech support, but they only asked me my phone number and e-mail and that they will contact me later.  The last time I contacted Adobe with a problem they actually wanted to share my screen and help me understand what is causing the problem. Not this time. I don't know if this new procedure of the call back is new but I need help now.

  • Time Lapse - how to shorten hundreds of clips at the same time

    Hi, I recently bought a Gopro camera and recorded a number of picturtes high definition I want to stick together and put in a video, however, there are about 600 images in total in the timeline, everything I want to do, is because they are just images, I want to have every image (or clip) exactly the same length. Its obviously going to take ages if I try to shorten each element individually. Also, how do I resize clips mass en, as they all looked a bit zoomed in relation to the source file.

    Thanks in advance

  • Photoshop CS6 batch automate background not cropping

    Hello. I use Photoshop CS6 to automate batch processing. I am of culture/resize the image. My action is: 1 810px at 96 DPI x 1080px culture 2. Save for web 3. close. I tried both of the substitution of registration with the substitution of registration. I don't have only one layer in the file, which is the image, set as background and is locked (by default when you open images). The first few images are fine, but eventually most of them look like this:

    Screen Shot 2015-06-20 at 8.54.40 AM.png

    Anyone know why this is happening and what I could do to solve the problem? Let me know if you need more information.

    Thank you

    Your images are probably not the same size as the image that you used to create the action. I think that action will place the crop in the same place for each image pixel. This isn't a relative location, but absolute location. If your crop on the small images exceeds the image canvas.

  • Simple solutions for a cinematic look with 60i video?

    I'm sure this question pop upward again and again but I'm a huge headache trying to solve everything through my research, especially as a beginner to the film world.  I'll get right to my questions, but first, here's the equipment I work with:

    Camcorder Sony HDR-XR500, shot in format AVCHD 1920 x 1080 60i =

    Software = Creative Suite CS4

    Recently, I threw together a 10 min film from a trip that I just got the use of Premiere Pro and while it was a lot of fun to put together I really have no idea if I went to this issue the right way.  I want to practice taking a clip of mine and convert it to this cinematic look and hope someone can help to guide me through some steps.

    Here's what I want to achieve:

    -ratio of 2.35: 1 pixel

    -24 p or a similar effect (trying to figure this out makes my head spin)

    I know that the color correction has much to do with the film appearance, but I realize that there are several ways to go about this, so I'll refrain from asking questions regarding this for now.  (I found using the fast color corrector and Saturation adjustment to 75%, and levels of inputs to 20, 1, 220 glanced of beautiful film)

    Step 1: Should what settings I use to create my project?

    Capture format = HDV?

    For the sequence presets can I use AVCHD 1080i30 (60i) non-anamorophic?

    Step 2: If I want to create a ratio of 2.35: 1, should I simply culture my clip?  I think I read somewhere for 1920 x 1080 video, crop 14 percent of top and bottom?  Or should I get when I export the movie?

    Step 3: What would be the fastest single/more to get that look of 24 fps using Premiere Pro or After Effects?  I know shooting in 24 p is obviously the easiest way, but should I just deinterlace my 60i video right click for video > Options for fields > deinterlace always to achieve a similar effect?

    Step 4: Export video... still so many options, I don't know what to do here.  Basically, could someone provide me with the best export options for the format, so that I am trying to achieve:

    -Display on the Internet

    -Display on computer

    -And look at a blu - ray

    I really appreciate any help on these questions.  A big thank you!

    Step 1: Capture settings are not relevant for AVCHD on this camera.  Simply copy the structure of the entire folder intact on your hard drive.  PR will find images copied to the media browser panel.  You may even be able to modify it directly from the camera HARD drive.  You should try it and see.

    2: 1920 x 816 stage produces a ratio of 2.35: 1.  Assuming that your whole action occurs in exactly in the center of the vertical shooting, then you should trim 132 pixels from top and down.  Place your 1080 footage in a progressive sequence of these dimensions, you should get what you want, as long as you do not have by default to scale to the size of the image selected in the preferences.

    Step 3: This is the difficult.  For 24 fps to 30 fps, an image of each 5 should be deleted.  This will produce perceptually playback choppy, especially if no movement at all is present.  If the remaining frames must be mixed together somehow to smooth out the bump where the missing image is.  Using AE to achieve this, is my humble opinion, the best solution for an all-CS4 workflow.  In AE, you have 2 choices: merging images and movement of the pixels.  PM produces better results, but FM makes it faster.  If you did not yet no editing clips of Pr, then the best idea would be to convert all images in AE before importing it into PR.  If you already have changes in place in public relations, then you can select all the clips in the sequence and choose file | Adobe Dynamic Link. Replace with After Effects Composition.  Whatever it is, each element in EI must be interpreted individually at the edges of fields and preserve the separated.  The parameters of the model should be set to 24 p.  Then the interpolation must be enabled for the model, and finally, each level framework mix switch must have the value of fusion of images or displacement of the pixels.  If you don't use dynamic link, be sure to * off * interpolation in public relations, because EI has already taken care of that.

    Step 4: Because the rendering will be so intense and take so long, I recommend export an intermediate file of Pr, then re-import this file to use as the source for the various export formats.  Otherwise, you will need to make all over again for each individual export format.  For the web, I recommend Flash.  For the computer display, it depends on your mode of delivery (CD, DVD, download, external hard drive, Flash drive, etc.).  For Blu - Ray, H.264 Blu - ray or Blu - ray MPEG2.

  • Need some basics on getting IT ID graphics

    I just started to learn IT.  The reason concerning IT is that I've been using PowerPoint and then saving it and cropping the image (gif, for example) and then place in ID.  Because of good advice in the forums the FW and ID, I saw the error of my ways and will my vector graphics (designed for printing) to Illinois.  My goal is to have good quality graphics in ID.

    My first hour or two with IT prompted a few questions to get the graphics finally to ID.  Do not forget that I am quite new to this so can use wrong terminology (corrections welcome).

    The scenario, I'm working on that is to create vector graphics (a flowchart) to Illinois and then place the graphics in a document of identity to be printed by the users.  I guess that the identity document will be converted to PDF for users to download and print.  The place of the GUI in ID is a framework that spans a flyer 2-column 3-column (Tel: 4.9444 - inches, height may vary to conform to the image).  The framework is defined on text flows around it not unlike a newspaper.  The problem I had was loss of graphic quality PP > gif > Culture > resize > place ID > pdf).  The new technique I (believe that) I am headed for: Illinois > place ID > pdf.  I also have learning (I think) he's better size the graphics to Illinois, close to the size of the target in the ID (i.e. 4.9444 inches wide and nearly 3 inches of height).

    My first question has to do with that last statement.  Assuming I'm wrong position for a close correspondence between graphic dimensions IT and ID, which is the way to do this in Illinois?  The first way, I chose to do was to get a new file format letter to Illinois and then make sure that my graphics were in an area about the size of target ID.  The other way that caught my attention when first working in IT is to define the size of the paper to the size of frame target ID.  I guess that he is very well, but we can ask the question, if I use the size of the document IT better how the graphics ID?

    My brain is always thinking in terms of culture and other ancient techniques.  I guess there is a way to get vector graphics in ID and ID leave any final adjustment in the sizing.  With the graphics in a letter-size document, when I place the file have I get the whole 8.5 x 11.

    Some tips on the workflow (with a little instruction on how to size in Illinois) might be the best place to start.  Keep in mind, my goal is the graphic quality in ID.

    I also noticed that IT documents can be saved as I am not familiar with the formats (remember I thought in terms of gif and jpg).  As I did research in other forums here, I also received the impression that the graphic to a pdf file will allow me to do the cropping it taking and then place the pdf file in the ID.

    Assuming that I have explained to my scenario, what are best practices to work graphics and bring them into the identity document?

    Thanks in advance

    Tom

    My first questions have to do with the workflow.  Don't forget my reason for change

    You place objects in ID, not files. That doesn't sound like a big difference at first, but consider, that the object place you is an independent content container. You can resize the container at any time without destroying the contents and you can place the content relative to the container. This is what makes the difference between the edit object and edit content ID tool is also subject. See the help, it's really simple. the rest - I agree with the others. Use the files have or PDF and design them to 100% of the size of the target. You can avoid problems printing with fine lines.

  • Bitmap of the scale

    I thought it would be simple, but I can't understand it. I use a loop for import a series of JPEG files to display as thumbnails. The customer needs I have load the images at full size and have their auto scale to the size of the thumbnail, then an animation to full size by clicking on. I can not dynamically loaded images to resize. I tried their import and then using script to resize clips video, they are imported, but that doesn't seem to work.

    The originals are 400 x 300 and I want to scale down from thumbnails to be 125 x 94.

    I know I'm going to feel really stupid when someone points out the solution. But that's okay, my children call me stupid and worse every day.

    Define MovieClipLoaer and Auditor
    var mcLoader:MovieClipLoader = new MovieClipLoader();
    var loaderList:Object = new Object();
    mcLoader.addListener (loaderList);
    Create new movieclip to store the loaded image
    this.createEmptyMovieClip ("Thumb1", this.getNextHighestDepth ());
    Statements
    loaderList.onLoadInit = {function (mc:MovieClip)}
    MC._width = thumbWidth;
    MC._height = thumbHeight;
    MC._x = xPos;
    MC._y = yPos;
    mc.onRollOver = function() {}
    MC._width = bigWidth;
    MC._height = bigHeight;
    };
    };
    Load photo
    mcLoader.loadClip ("1.jpg", Thumb1);

  • CAN first 14 elements (or most recent) cultures, and resizing videos?

    I need a video editor. The price of the Premier Pro is excessive.

    I would like to know if Prime elements can crop video and video clips?

    I would like to know if, when you crop, you can resize the video cropped to its original resolution and the size of the screen. e.g. when cropping a photograph, the size of the file and the resolution is reduced.

    First 11 to 14 has an effect of culture items under fx effect/Transform. Once applied to the mounting clip, it can be edited under apply effects/Applied effects Palette/panel expanded Crop. The screenshot is of elements 13/13.1 first, but characteristic of the culture is identical to that of 11 to 14.

    As described in the Adobe documents on effects reference

    The effect of cropping deletes lines of pixels on the edges of an element and, if you select the Zoom option, automatically resizes the clip adorned with its original dimensions. Use the sliders to crop each edge of the element separately. You can crop in pixels or as a percentage of the clamp.

  • Resizing of nested after change of sequence clips

    So I decided to edit my clips in 1080 to 720 proxies offline. I've done a few nests, but I didn't when you paste all back to 1080 online nested clips are still 720 and it is said to nest again if for some examples, I need warp to stabilize. If I resized the 150% nests I losing quality? can I change the nested? It is common or I'm the only one who did that?... It completely broke my workflow :/

    Can you just double click on the nests and set their sequence the same as your new master?

  • clips have to be resized all of a sudden

    Hello

    I am quite puzzled. All of a sudden I have to resize my videos when I shoot them in my editing, they are too big. It's a lot of your time to say the least. I do not have to do this, then I wondered if maybe I clicked on something that I'm not aware. Someone had this experience before.

    Thank you

    If the clamps are too big, your sequence does not match the clips.

    This, to get a corresponding sequence of your film.

  • Warp stabilizer cultures clip off screen - help!

    Adobe Premiere Pro CC - last updated.

    When I apply the stabilizing effect of Warp, it cultures / moves the clip almost completely off the screen in the preview window. He also stays that way when I export.

    I'm downloading sequences dslr with these properties:

    Path: / Users/Braedin/Desktop/Banff trip/Friday/MVI_9850.MOV

    Type: MPEG Movie

    File size: 52.5 MB

    Image size: 1280 x 720

    Frame rate: 59.94

    Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 16-bit - stereo

    Project Audio Format: 48000 Hz - 32 bit floating point - stereo

    Total time: 00:00:10:03

    Pixel format: 1.0

    I then slow down footage to 40% for a look of 24 frames per second (60 fps in the original)

    I then 'nest' images in order to apply the stabilizing effect of Warp.

    This is what it looks like without a stabilizer of the string:

    Screen Shot 2014-10-14 at 1.57.49 PM.png

    This is what looks like after application of stabilizer in the chain and make the clip:

    Screen Shot 2014-10-14 at 1.58.21 PM.png

    These are the properties of the "Nested" clip with stabilizer Warp:

    Nested sequence 03

    1280 x 720

    00; 00; 04 22, 59,94 frames per second

    48000 Hz - Stereo

    Finally, here is my current settings for the sequence in which I have the question:

    Any help would be greatly appreciated as I suspect his problem with the configuration of the sequence.

  • Cannot resize/position of clips on the composition.

    I used the first Pro CS5 yesterday and it worked fine, but now when I open it I can't move or resize the clips on the composition. I searched every option and the settings and can't find anything about it. Anyone know what to do?

    With the effect controls panel, you can click on the name of the effect, in this case, Motion > scale (remember, click on the name) and you will get a Bounding Box.

  • Is it possible to resize the image size for all clips at once?

    I have a video of music finished and when I export there is a black box around the video. I tried to put the exported file back in first and by resizing the area program, but when I exported the video became unstable. I could resize each item individually in the first original file, but it would obviously take a lot of time, so I was wondering if there is a way to select them all and resizing, or even another way to cut out the black bars (trying to size for youtube). Thanks for any help, it is much appreciated.

    -Josh

    Josh,

    Welcome to the forum.

    The best way to handle things is to choose a pre-defined sequence that matches your footage source of the layer at 100%.

    In light of the where you are now, you can go to your first Clip and adjust the fixed effect > Motion > adapted for her greatness. Then, Rt-click on it, choosing the copy. Now select all the other Clips (Lasso with the slider will work) and then Rt click, choose the attributes of the dough.

    CS5 offers a new tool to configure your sequence. Import your footage source of the layer, then select it in the project Panel, drag it to the new icon to get a corresponding sequence.

    Good luck
