• Already bought an Alienware 14 - curious about the upgrade of the screen

  Is it possible to have the monitor on my Alienware 14 updated? I was hoping to increase the resolution of 1366 x 768. I was wondering about getting a slab IPS 300 nits 1080 p set in after seeing an article on the point. I was also wondering on a matte screen vs glossy screen. I use the laptop inside in general.

  Now I've noticed a few rasterized textures on my screen and I was hoping to just get a level would lead it up to the same quality as my desktop computer monitor.

  So, is it possible to upgrade the monitor after the purchase, ideally through dell, or do I have to use a third party? Secondly, what would be the cost and it would alter the warranty if I by dell (such as differing from the guarantee of original purchase value of the laptop).

• Confused about the use of accessors with classes.

  With a new assignment thought, it would be appropriate to increase the use of labview OO features. In my case, I'm trying to use a class to contain a bunch of different calculations. The calculations require multiple entries to finish so I built a control to take care of these data. My plan was to build separate methods for each calculation. This will allow to easily add new calculations and considering that many calculations depend on preliminary calculations seem to be an excellent opportunity to learn a new part of labview.

  My problem is to find an elegant way to complete this great control; I believe that I must write accessor vi to allow outside access to the objects. I don't know if there should be one vi for EACH parameter accessor, or if I can access these items in a cluster.

  I can only relate to the use of get / set in .NET and usually I would write one for each variable that I have access to. I'm not sure how to proceed in LabView. Any ideas would be great.

  I enclose a few images. One showing just a sumple calculation and one of my ctl. Still, my main question is what is the best way to populate the items in this list.

  Since there is no such thing in LVOOP as public members of class (and thank God / NOR) you must always provide accessors (getters/setters) to join the data members of the class outside of the classroom.

  Inside the method of class VI, there is no need for them since you can reach directly from the wire with bundle/unbundle (like photos).

  I've implemented a similar class that performs calculations and I chose to use the recursive calls to deal with the problem of some variables must be calculated before the others.

  I'm a member of the VI class called GetCalculatedVariable.vi which takes the name of the variable to calculate input (like typedefed enum).
  Inside of this VI have a structure dealing with a box for each variable that can be calculated.

  The inside of the box, I define the calculation, and if I ever need another variable, I here call GetCalculatedVariable.vi recursively.

  In addition, I also have a CalcBuffer so I don't have to call GetCalculatedVariable.vi more than once for each variable.

  The class also has a GetMeasuredVariable.vi which also uses the recursion in the same way, but works on my measurement files instead.

  The advantage is that my application code gets very clean because it contains only a single Subvi callto obtain and use any calculated variable.

  I also have a GetCalculatedVariables that takes an VariableNames array and returns an array of values.

  I have worked on various projects and IT admin job for more than 14 years in Windows and NetWare environments, but have no experience with any type of virtualization.

  I want to acquire sufficient experience for coherent conversation VMware and vSphere in an interview, and to pass the exam, and I think I might prefer the speed and convenience of the Live-Online course.

  Basically, I have 2 questions:

  1. for someone like me, is at - it a real advantage to take VMware vSphere: crash course, or will install, configure and manage of course give me what I'm looking for?

  2 are there opinions on the benefits of class vs Live-course online?

  Any opinions at all would be greatly appreciated.

  1. I recommend the installation and configuration - it will give you the necessary information to develop a good base in VMware and start preparing to take and pass the exam VCP - there's a number fo son in this forum about what you should do to prepare for the exam of the secure Channel.

  2. The line is good and the same class that is provided in the class but I think the interaction with the instructor and with other students is extremely beneficial.

  I took the training on February 1 (VMware vSphere: install, configure, manage) and passed the VCP - 410 exam on February 8, but have not yet heard of VMware.  :_|

  Is it normal that it takes a long time? I am supposed to receive an e-mail to confirm my VCP status, right?  ?:|

  The status on the website of Pearson view should say that the review was a 'pass', you won't hear anything from VMware, until you receive your welcome kit VCP in post/mail and your Workstation 7 license by email - you should get those in the next 4-6 weeks... Bravo

In the workflow, there are two approval tasks: customer approval task (shown available for common to approve client portal) and the task (see sm9 for officer to approve). We wonder when opening a session a request and attach an object, the object could be shown on the customer approval task in the Web page of the portal? And how?

  Then you should be able to display the list of attachments of application in the customer portal approval form.

  Is a little more difficult for the approver to open the attachment - it must have permissions to view the query. You can do this by configuring the roles system (preferred method) or by changing the query .

• Question about the new Yoga 10 HD +.

  A few questions about the new Yoga 10 HD + that I hope you can answer.

  I bought the former model, last year. Love the design and long battery life, but a few major questions made me return.

  • Somewhere that I've read that it can not read NTFS on USB so I guess that's the same thing with a NTFS formatted microSD card?
  • Can it read exFAT formatted microSD cards?
  • Anyone who has questions about the audio via bluetooth?
    (I know that BT is not exactly High End HiFi but the old 10 Yoga for some obscure reason - most likely a driver problem which nobody cared to fix - rang * very * worst with visibly distortion while both my phone and a Tablet noname cheap I have zero about fidelity - any of my devices bluetooth audio) I tried aptX or not)

  So to avoid buying it back it also I really I would like to see if I can get my questions answered before buy you.

  While I love the form factor and long term issues above are only two Mayor dealbreakers for me. Bad audio quality = no joy listen to spotify, local etc. MP3s. not of NTFS or exFAT = some great movies.

  My old noname android Tablet really could use an upgrade so I'm really curious it may be, or I should watch the competition and will be form factor and battery LIFE.

  If it does not support NTFS or exFAT on microSD card have someone at - he tried ext3 or ext4?

  I mean with Linux Android root, it should be a no-brainer to support at least when it comes to royalties unlike NTFS or exFAT where it * might * have some trouble with Microsoft.

  I used a USB through a USB OTG cable. NTFS or exFAT have been recognized by the Tablet PC. FAT32 is seems to be the preference.

• Funny thing about the problems of its flag

  As for my funniest sound quality in my HP Pavilion - I can hear very well with my helmet, but the sound just in itself is horrible.  I don't get what everyone said about the demos, can't hear the lyrics of songs and television. I ordered to install speakers. If this does not work, I don't know what else to do.

  Am I condemned not to sound as if I had with Windows XP.  I didn't have to get another computer. Mine crashed unexpectedly. I had no choice. I guess that sometimes life is not fair. I liked my other computer.  Who knew what would happen.

  Is there something I can do?  Can anyone help?

  I don't have any time of las answers when I left a message. I guess there is no help.  I buy the computer wrong? I do not know. I just paid a lot of money for something that doesn't work well. And do you know what someone told me when I had a problem? "Come back in about 2 weeks, so that we know more about Vista." Great! Not even the experts know how to help. I guess I'll have to figure out the problem myself. I can't afford to invest more money in more computer "fixing".

  Vista has been out for about 2 years and I used it for the past 2.5 years while he was still in phase BETA and I'm currently testing windows 7 where we talk so no it isn't that NEW.

  What I first need is your computer model number so I can find the sound card and the OS type if it is x 32 or x 64.

  I had a few questions for you:

  (1) how old is the pc?

  (2) never sound work well before?

  (3) have tried to update your driver, or reinstall the original driver on hp.com and look for your model of pc?

  (4) have you tried green ports the front and back audio and see if that makes a difference.

  Most likely the speakers still sounds like the helmet will be.

  What I would do in this case is to run a system recovery if you don't have much personal and start from scratch and then if the problem is still there while you may need to have the good card/motherboard replaced by a new and you must call 800-HPINVENT support number and let them know what's going on and steps did you.
