• First Calculator in radians?

  Hi, this is my first post on this forum site and hope that I'm doing all this correct. But my question is how do you spend between radians and degrees (regarding modes) on the first HP Calculator? I thought he was touching the upper right and then tap either of the symbols? I could have sworn it was the way I did before. But today when I went to switch to the degree the screen was insensitive when the drop appears. Then from the display CASE and I went into settings, tried to change the mode here and I could choose between the two, but when I return to the CASE and then back to the settings screen to see if it is indeed kept, falling to the low bar would say radians again... I tried the reset button on the back and no luck. Y at - it a setting I could have turned on so it won't change between modes? I also have not messed with the firmware at all. everything I've done is out of the box and it recharge and use it. I have now since November last and as far as I remember this function, used to work.

  OK updated if someone reads this... I found that I can't pass between radians and degrees within the "app" function. I'm just currious regarding why im not able to do it, if anyone wants to comment?

  This is one reasons possible of what you know.  Each application can have its own radian/degree setting in the "symbolic" screen  (Symb update)  When an application has the angle mode is defined here, it usually cannot be changed elsewhere.  To restore your ability to adjust the angle of the mode in the usual places for three (reception of parameters, the parameters of CASE and the battery icon popup box), press SHIFT symbol and change the angle of setting it to the "system".

• single interface

  Hello

  I was wondering if there is a way to combine the views of modules (a couple of State displays and a few slider control modules) in a single user interface. I know that this feature is available in labview, but haven't be able to find instructions or make reference to it in dasylab.

  Also, I am currious to see if there was a way to protect a worksheet (optionally password protect), ultimately what I would be hoping to accomplish, is to create a spreadsheet to run an experiment, and then create a unique user interface so that anyone can run the test being able to set the values of a couple on the slides , but without the power to change logical paths.

  DASYLab offers the opportunity to password protect the worksheet as well as the ability to create page layouts.

  Page layouts are full screens that you can use to create custom interfaces by integrating modules to display, create text fields and display the VAR and TEXT.

  I would say the Full version or Pro if it is the way you want to go.

• Declarations of function call

  If I call a function and pass it a variable, and this function performs a calculation with this variable, the variable in the main function should be changed.  Let me give an example below.  In this example, the Message box displays 1, 2 and 3.  I always have my code the only way to get the variables of a function was explicitly return a value, for example ReturnVariable = Function (PassedVar).  In this case, only ReturnVariable would receive all changes.    So for the example below, my hypothesis is that Msgbox should print 1, 1 and 1.

  In any case, this has caused a few problems with my programs, but I fear other issues that I have not yet found.  Is there a decleration that I can call to stop the evolution of a variable, passed to a function? Or is it something that I missed in VB programming, and I need to go through all my code to make sure that I do not do this?

  So, as you can see by the output, it's a trap. The only course is to write ByVal and make sure that ByRef works for you.

• 5 - USB or HDD ESXi installation location?

  I intend on creating a stand-alone ESXi server to run several virtual machines.  HP is envisaged for the seller.  There will be no external storage, all storage will be aboard running, probably in raid 10 or maybe 1.

  My quesiton is this: what would be the ideal installation location for ESXi?  Can I install using an internal USB or flash?  Or would it be better to simply install on the internal HDD RAID non-commercialise all storage is in local?  I am currious what those of you would recommend?

  There is a problem with the ESXi on local RAID which has already been mentioned here and in referenced posts:

  If you have the need to increase available disk space by putting more physical disks in the box and expanding your RAID volume then it will become very difficult to the data on the RAID volume if extended VMFS volume you have ESXi installed on it. It is always possible, but requires hacks of ugly command line (see http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2002461).

  On the other side if you have ESXi installed on a device separate (such as a USB key) you can easily develop the VMFS volume in vSphere client GUI.

• Move the ASM disks

  Windows 2008 R2 64-bit server running Oracle Enterprise Database 11.2.0.2
  
  This server was supposed to be an isolated system, which can be moved to another location...
  the person who took leave, and now they want to move...
  
  I started to go into the config and discovered that it didn't load basic disks to ASM data on local hard drives that were bought for her. they were loaded in our SAN storage...
  I need to move the disks local ASM of our SAN to hard drives...
  
  NOTE: The space used is small... but more than the local disk space is space on the SAN... If the size of the readers will have to be reduced...
  
  I probably just format and will load another server and export/import data...
  But I was currious if there was a way to move a disk partition ASM disks to another...
